Was talking to my mate last night and he said he's giving up his season ticket next season as it's not value for money for the "shite" we watch every second week. We both agreed that the primary reason anyone buys a season ticket as Ibrox is for the OF games, then the Aberdeen games and maybe, at a push the Hibernian games. The other games are just boring to watch, especially during the winter months. Personally, when I had my season ticket and on waking up on a cold, wintery Saturday morning knowing we were playing Falkirk/Dunfermlin/Killie/Motherwell etc etc didn't fill me with excitement. When I gave my ticket up I thought I'd miss going but I don't. I enjoy watching SSN on a Saturday afternoon in the warmth and comfort of my own house. (Fuck, Killie have just scored). I can pick and choose the games I want to go and see ie Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen. Under the current regime, I can't see myself going back and wasting my hard earned wages on a medocre team who bore me to tears. My mates feels the same! Does the season ticket holders amongst us here on Gersnet feel they're getting value for money watching Rangers? What would piss me off was being told of a price increase after a trophyless season. Thought please.

I think that if the game was at Ibrox and Weir tackled (was going to say McDonlad but you only need to look at him and he'll drop) Samaras after Samaras has shot at goal the referee wouldn't have given the decision to Celtic.

That was a surprise when 2 mins of added time flashed up on the screen. I'd have said 5 minutes would've been about right. Weird one that.

I agree with them all with the exception of the penalty decision. The majority of referees wouldn't have given the penalty in the situation.

I agree, it was a shocking tackle but they're never given inside the box so I don't see what WS is moaning about.

If it came a fraction of a second earlier I would've been calling for a penalty too but Miller got his shot away before contact was made. Fact of the matter is, you'll never get those decisions in the penalty box. Whereas, outside the penalty you'll always get a FK as it's deemed a late tackle.

I'm not talking about Flecks potential to (hopefully) become a great for us, I'm talking about yesterdays performances. So just because Gergie has lost his "mojo" or whatever you want to call it, the comparison becomes invalid? Explain. So what do you think is the correct age to give a young player experience in big games, 20, 24, 28, 32?????? I do believe the age old cliche, if you're good enough you're old enough. We had another young player in the squad yesterday, Aaron who was probably sent to Rangers from Valencia hoping to get big game experience. His coaches at Valencia probably wanted that too. While WS is in charge our club motto should be changed from "Ready" to "Ready, but only if you have experience!" -

Fleck had an average game as did Ferguson (I'd even go as far as saying Ferguson was our worst player), Mendes, Lafferty and McCulloch. Where's the difference? It goes to show that experience has nothing to do with it. Ferguson, Mendes and McCulloch have bag of big match experience yet they were all poor. Age has nothing to do with it! -
WS seems to be more interested in not losing matches than grabbing a game by the balls and winning it 3/4/5-0. Pathetic!

I'll admit it, I wanted to turn over and watch somethin else. The only reason I never was because I had 5 of my mates round. It was garbage, but it's what we've come used to these days. I don't see why we expect anything else these days. The standard of OF games are slowly going downhill season after season.
