Anyone know the latest with this guy? Is he fit? I know there's a lot of contractural issues going on at present but that's neither here nor there. He seems to have been injured for what seems like a couple of years now.

So Larsen is coming 100%? Don't really know much about the chap. Does anyone know his goalscoring record for Schalke? If we sign Matty Taylor all the fans will be shouting "shoooooooooot" anytime he's near the box with the ball. He scored an absolute stormer at Fratton Park last season. As for the German defender I have never heard of him. Who does he play for? Maybe we could look into a deal with Spurs where Hutton will sign for Spurs but remain with us until the season ends. It's happened down in England a few times. Smaller clubs sell their best player to bigger clubs but they are loaned back to the smaller club immediately. I hope WS doesn't do an Eck and panic on the last day and sign a few numpties.

Arsenal Reading Birmingham Liverpool Everton Blackburn Bolton Wolves None of those teams fielded there strongest team. With Liverpool, there's a problem cause no one knows, including Benitez what their strongest XI is. All the others fielded weakened teams resting their top players for the league campaigns. Don't know if you know Gribz but Man Shitty beat West Ham 1-0 last night.

Maybe it's me but I just don't see what he did tonight that was special? Maybe he could've had 2 penalties so does that give him an advantage for the MOTM? I felt Burke was miles better than him tonight but as Frankie says, it's all about opinions. -

Just shows you what a managerial change can do. I know the only played Stoke tonight but if Fat Sam was still in charge they'd have struggled to beat Stoke.

Thing is though and this is just my personal point of view but Newcastles defence is pathetic so to bring in a manager who didn't give a fuck about defending is a backward step. The defence must be sorted out first before the other negatives are addressed.

Newcastle have stated that they want an experienced manager. That rules out Shearer. I think Keegan said he wants the job but doesn't want to work alongside Shearer. Houllier or Diddy Deschamps will get it.

FA Cup is turning into a farce these days. Managers of the big clubs, the medium sized clubs and the smaller clubs are all putting out 2nd string teams. Not many managers care about the FA Cup now, it's all about survival/promotion in the league they're in.

Here's a question Frankie to Billy Kirkwood, John Fleck, Andrew Shinnie and anyone else who wishes to answer....... Do Rangers ever think their youth team will play in the Scottish lower leagues rather than playing in youth leagues? Wouldn't the youth players benefit playing in a better standard of league?
