  1. Out of the current squad I think quite a few will still be playing with us in two years time when we should be playing top flight football. Think Bell, Foster, Wallace, Moshni, McAusland McLeod, Crawford, Peralta, Law, Clark, Little, Daly, Aird, McKay, Daly and probably McCulloch will still be there. It will take us at least a couple of years for us to be properly challenging for the title again though IMO
  2. In the games he's played this season he actually hasn't looked too bad but I'd be delighted if we could get rid of him and get someone else in. Would rather see guys like McAusland and Gasparotto given the chance than Cribari.
  3. The best team I've ever seen at Ibrox was the three months in 1999 before Mols got his knee injury against Bayern. I'm positive our usual midfield was Reyna - Ferguson - GvB - McCann. Big Albertz, Tugay and Kanchelskis struggled to get in the team. Changed days indeed.
  4. He was a cracking midfielder. Think we got him for about £1 million. An absolute bargain.
  5. I'm not his biggest fan but to be fair to Paul Murray both he and Alistair Johnston did warn us about Craig Whyte. I think in the last few years of the Sir David Murray reign (even before the bank took over) there was no forward thinking or drive from anyone on that board, Paul Murray included. They were coasting along and hoping for Champions League qualification just so we could turn a profit. That's just not good enough IMO.
  6. No doubt we will find out over the next few days. If it is true it's good to see the club fighting back and show we aren't gonna take any pish from anyone.
  7. Surprised with McColl's comments about Mather but then again I suppose he will be playing hardball. Will Mather remain as CEO if he is no longer on the board?
  8. Very half baked statement from the board. Think we are heading for an EGM unless there is some real compromise from both sides. Stockbridge is the key man for me. Sooner that chancer is out of Ibrox - the better.
  9. Wish all of this nonsense would just end so we can get on with watching a decent team on the park.
  10. IF he is found to have bet against Rangers he should get the sack. Sandaza was given the boot for far less. Innocent until proven guilty at the moment though.
  11. Aye very good Easdale. Wouldn't have shady characters like that anywhere near the Ibrox boardroom.
  12. God help us if we have guys like the Easdale's having a real influence in the boardroom over the coming years.
  13. Does this make a real difference EGM-wise? The Easdale's are in Green's camp anyway.
  14. Well we definitely need to have guarantees about board representation. Suppose anything that gives the fans a voice can only be a good thing. Would certainly be a step in the right direction.
  15. I think the scheme has to be set up with the ultimate goal of securing 51% of the club. Surely that has to be the goal for every supporter after what has gone on.
  16. It's a great idea and hopefully all Rangers fans can get behind it. Financially it makes so much sense. Fiver a month is affordable to just about every supporter.
  17. Was that the first boardroom coup at Ibrox with Mr Struth pulling the strings along with Roger Simpson? Is the Mr Morton in that article the Wee Blue Devil?
  18. As long as we get a decent finance director I will be happy. Sooner we get Stockbridge out and Blin in the better.
  19. I wonder who Prior will be backing at the EGM then? If I was McColl or Murray I would be on the phone to him.
  20. Hopefully Ally doesn't do that. I'd rather big Gasparotto got a start at centre half than Daly.
  21. Fair enough mate. I was a fan of Green when he first came into the club but over the last few months I have really went off him.
  22. Will be nice to have an actual debate with Rangers supporters rather than the organised chaos on other forums.
