Agreed plus they just werent clinical enough in the final third early on. They had a break while 1-0 up and just made a mess of it. A good set of strikers will punish that England defence. But overall the best team won. When it went to 1-1 there was only one team. It wasnt a pen either and Schmiechel was very unlucky - what a keeper he is though. In the FA Cup final he was outstanding and he had another brilliant save in the second half. Kyle Walker though - best RB in the world. Immense performance and he has been doing that all season. To think he almost lost his place to Trent-AA, Trippier and Reece James - now he along with Kane must be the first name on the team sheet. I'll be getting the Old Baggio shirt out for Sunday though. Whats peoples views on that camera angle during penalties - looking behind the player in front of the goal? Personally it does my head in and I much prefer the standard angle. The camera last night didnt stay still for any Pen. It would probably be better from behind the goal rather than behind the taker.

Brilliant 90 minutes of football - best of the tournament due to being a semi final and two top countries. I thought Italy would have been favourites but Spain were the better side which was surprising. Its a shame one of them had to go out and that would have been a worthy final. Now hoping the Italians go on an win it. Chiellini is class and looks a cracking person also. Couldnt agree more about Danny Murphy though - have thought this for ages. Whenever he is on whether it be TV or Talksport I immediately turn off. Italy v England would be a belting final but while they are in it they can win it so fingers crossed for the Danes tonight.

I know - for example, I always said Brechin, Montrose, Arbroath and Forfar should have merged to become Angus Utd but about 56 fans from each town would riot. (especially Arbroath - thats a rough town). But totally agree that the at least the Championship should be expanded with more teams then the lower two divisions should be regional with a generous play off system in place for promotion to give that opportunity.

Agreed - total shame for the lad. It was a strange one as well, he just seemed to run at an awkward angle. He was on fire until then and I hope the Italians dont let it get to them because they have been by far the best side in the tournament and Im hoping they go on and win it. The replacement is the guy from Chelsea who hasnt played that much football. The English media are just the biggest nuisance but its building itself up nicely for a typical fall. Its been the same as the WC with an easy run plus playing 4 out of 5 so far at home. There is a part of me who does think they could win it due to home advantage but if Italy play like they have been then they would beat them - their central defence is immense. Nuno to Spurs is a good move however its stinks of 6th choice desperation from Spurs. Rafa to Everton is also a good move, he will do better then Ancelotti. The latter wasnt the right fit, he is more of an elite manager to win things with top players rather than build teams. The Everton fans have to accept him. The Palace one is weird though - dont think Vieira is the right man to go there - it could be another De Boer situation.
