Actually, I thought McTominay was one of ManU`s better players, and the German commentators were raving about him. Funny how they berated ManU for not doing enough when Villareal were leading and essentially flooding their own half and doing virtually nothing to attack. HEard the same sort of "accusations" when we were up against the trench-diggers in Scotland ... somewhat bizarre. Bizarre that the commentators et al were not having a go at the "defending" team for wrecking a game of football. But there you go. ManU had a few really good opportunities via Cavani too and deserved the win more than the Spaniards. Hardly ever saw a penalty shootout with so many clinical finishes, even from the Villareal goalie. Though de Gea made a total mess of his shot. As for McBurnie, he might be worth it, as he is a good striker and more importantly Scottish. But the fees in England are absurd, his contrat runs for a coule more years and they paid some 17m for him not that long ago. And we wont invest so much money on a single player, not least when we have Morelos, Roofe, Itten, Sakala and seemingly Defoe too.

An FFer noted yesterday that Humzah and Co. might have went against the Ministerial Code of the Government (2018) ... https://www.gov.scot/publications/scottish-ministerial-code-2018-edition/pages/2/ A freedom of information request would show whether there were any arrests et al for the behaviour in question, anti-Irish or -Catholic and if the police or SNP fail to provide significant evidence in all of this, then there may be an opportunity to lawfully discredit the SNP government on the matter.

Given how much money we spent "helping" the wee clubs while climbing through the divisions (compared to what the get from the authorities) ... and now this impressive promotion of the Scottish game in Europe, the amount of backstabbing coming from the Scottish game (not to mention authorities, media and politics) is quite sobering.

We sure have lost ourway since the turn ofthe year, can`t tell how much influence the loss of the players had. What I did note yesterday was the reluctance to substitute players, but wo knows. We have 6+ attacking players, at least three of which sat on the bench and we played but one up top. Then we sub like-for-like late on ... Over on FF it was remarked that the ref allowed quite a few "strong" Brownesque-style tackles without taking action. That said, this is the second season that the club really has taken to the women`s team and we may look for more strength in depths next season.

Going by how quickly this was out of the news, the Police seemingly has enough evidence (yet to be lost) that it were Yahoos doing it.

Do that in Germany as a politician and you are done. Not to mention the stuff he said about Rangers, the support and sectarianism.

The non-IRA-version actually has and had that down as "Britannia`s sons" but when folk like Sinead O`Connor uses "Huns" it get`s watered down and is deemed "acceptable". -
Don`t think there is any interest on our behalf in Ferguson, but we have a few people with sources link these last few days ... IN - Jonson Clarke-Harris (26) - Peterborough, English, ST, contract 2024 - LINK - TM IN - Santiago Moreno (21) - America de Cali, Colombian, RW, contract 2023 - LINK - TM OUT - Ryan Kent - Leeds - LINK Do keep in mind that when info sites speak about "rated x million" and refer to Transfermarkt, that this figure is there just for statistical reasons and by no means the figure wanted or paid by buyers or sellers ... if there is actually any fee paid.

Isn`t there something like Ofcom checking out the journalists too? BTW, they were pushing for "strict liability" with regards to songs et al before Covid-19 struck, even toned it down a bit when the Scum`s hordes were overdoing it themselves. I have no doubt whatsoever that had there been fans in the ground, they would have pushed that agenda again throughout the season, not least in the current climate.

Very controlled and solid. With every game he plays, Simpson looks more composed and also willing to play a pass. People may disagree, but a big chunk of our title success comes down to our "Iron Curtain" in central defense and goals, with McGregor and Goldson the heart of it, but no matter who assisted them all were rather solid. -
My cynical self would advise the Bears out on Saturday to carry Palestinian flags along, packed up or otherwise, as these are seemingly keeping the virus away ...

Rangers 'B' team to take part in Lowland League next season
der Berliner replied to Rousseau's topic in Rangers Chat
A few years ago we had that season "off" and our youngsters etc. were playing against European counterparts every / other week. That sure helped their development and growing as a personality too. Obviously, in times of Coivd-19, that`s hardly an option, but having this B-Teams in the lower leagues will essentially kill that idea, unless we agree few friendlies. Of course, I reckon that this is a good chance to give our youngsters and second string players much needed competitive football, but as has been said, the quality of opposition might/will not be great. Haven`t checked the idea for Scotland in detail, but in Germany, the B or u23s sides can rise through the leagues too, with the one exception that they can never get promoted into a league where the first team plays, even if they are champions in their lower league. -
Hagi, kicked from pillar to post, but again is a creative hotspot and likes to shoot. BTW, watching the game yesterday, I thought about whom I would vote player of the season and immediately thought of Steven Davis. And while some might call him veteran, I was looking for a more adequate term like Rolls-Royce ... and had to laugh, when Iain Ferguson said exactly that 5 mins later in the commentary. I know that flair players, assist-givers and goal-scorers usually rule these awards, but the way Davis ruled the midfield from the back, assisted defense and attack with his tireless runs at his age was just immense.
