  1. That is what some legal folk would simply call: coercion. They can have a season's ban from the Scottish Cup, which might be according to their rules. The rest is essentially illegal, not to mention that they may be on the receiving end of some hefty compensation fines should it be ruled that we are indeed victims of fraud.
  2. Perhaps Craig Beattie can be enticed with glory, adoration, and fame rather than a whopping pay-cheque?
  3. We play without Goian, but can expect a transfer fee? As for the SFA, we (i.e. Green) should make sure that we do not suffer any further sanction. If the SFA wants more, the RFFF should sue them.
  4. You are some naughty customer to expect such vile a thing. Sporting integrity must be obeyed, you know!
  5. Some rumours say that Black would sign no matter where we play. It will probably depend on the money too. Some folk may sign up because they can a) play for Rangers and b) become legends despite not being of the Baxter-, McCoist-, Goram- etc. ilk or quality. For they came in our darkest hour.
  6. Regan has not devised a decent and lawful enough punishment just yet. Maybe he'll fall before he submist this though ...
  7. Depends on whether we get a SFA membership and no transfer embargo. BTW, Jörg Albertz recently twittered to Nacho Novo: "Time to go home, wee man."
  8. Who? I would assume Dundee and Ross County are the safest of the lot, since they probably still work on their SFL 1 business model.
  9. ... and once the criminal investigators find that we have been victims of fraud, while the SFA and SPL showed a credible amount of negligence, we (or GDCs Rangers FC plc) might sue the authorities for compensation.
  10. Nope. The SPL and the SFA pushed the self-destruct button and handed the SFL the task to right this. Yet, the SFL essentially did as their rules and precedence (i.e. factual sporting integrity) demanded, put a new applicant where it belongs. IMHO, pre the admin fiasco, 90% of the SFL clubs (i.e. all bar the usual SPL-contenders) would simply not care where Rangers would be playing. Now, the 3rd division clubs would vote us down not only by rules, but also because they'd gain massive monetary revenue with us being their "neighbours". Pretty natural, of course, and going hand in hand with the "actual sporting intergity" explained above. NB: Nice that he noted a "relaunched team" rather than "club".
  11. At times you wonder what they are actually doing right now ...
  12. From a Scotland on Sunday article ... Ouch.
  13. Did Regan also wanted us to have a second x-mas on June 24th, sponsored by Rangers FC? If true, this needs has to be made public and FIFA and UFEA being informed about Mad Stewart's behaviour. Add the letters of di Stefano for good measure.
  14. Quoting myself ahead of the report in today's Sun:
  15. Is this the SFA's / SPL's get-out-clause? Claiming insufficient info and keeping Rangers FC plc's membership thing alive, sanctions pending a thorough investigation? Green would then have to double check whether he can initiate a double-company thing (like the scum) for the club, so the club can still play with the plc going as e.g. a company paying the players and staff, while Sevco being the owners of the assets?
  16. Gio di Stefano's letter to Duff & Phelps (SFA; SPL; SFL) is to be found here now.
  17. This is a contest between di Stefano and Brown, is it not? BTW ... I for one would not be surprised if Smith and Green came to the conclusion that the latter will guide the club through this whole scenario without any more power struggles inside the Rangers camp, with Green striking the best deal with the authorities that are on offer. Once this is done, Smith & McColl can come in, take over the reins and with them the support will return in droves. Green and Co. get a certain sum to "reward" them for their job and be done with it, while Smith & Co. become the "White Knights" with the staying power to see us survive. Or something along those lines.
  18. Who are his backers then?
  19. In any case, the club shall not agree to any sanctions, especially the embargo. If Regan presses on this, Rangers should sue the SFA for coercion.
  20. Yes, 53 pages and most of the statements as such are just talk, no deed. Can we drop it and start a new one when something actually happens?
  21. Rumour on FF has it that up to 5 SPL sides are ready to change their initial votes. I would not be surprised if only Aberdeen and Dundee United would remain stubborn, should there be a re-run of the votes after any plans for SPL 2 fall through.
  22. Shock horror, no reference on "newco" et al. Oh, BTW, we'll gladly watch the current regime (sic!) at Dundee United FC die a painful financial death ... but kudos for their sporting integrity stance!
  23. Well, if anything it draws attention to this whole affair, both by the (world) media and the higher authorities. Regan's little kingdom will come under real scrutiny and at the end, what else shall they do to us? Suspend membership? We can sue again ... and put Celtic and Motherwell and Hearts out of their upcoming European misery in advance. They slaughtered us to n end and we should not sit idle and watch them getting away with it and have precedence for even more punishment. Right now, Regan and Co. behave like the dictators of FIFA and UEFA, who think they and they alone have any right about what goes on in football, even if it is unlawful. If we need to become a "new Bosman", we should do it right.
