Maybe PC doesn't want to sell him just yet....maybe he wants to get him out, play some comparative games before deciding MOH's ultimate "fate"....
-
Wallace could be the logical one..... Alves was talking the other day about being PC's "man on the pitch" - that would normally equate to the Captain. Waldo may not be happy at losing that title to someone just in the door (regardless of experience), and basically spitting the dummy oot. Would it be a massive loss??? I don't think so. Waldo hasn't been performing to his best for a wee while now & it may be time for a change of personnel at LB....

The 2 bits in bold really made me laugh..... basically, "We're confident we'd the outcome we want, but we're not gonna pursue it".....That's like being confident that you have an £80m winning lottery ticket, but not cashing it in. Bottom line is that the Authorities (no laughing at the back) scrutinised their rules & found no way for the issue to be taken any further & that any legal challenge would be laughed out of court.

Effort is great...but if there is no end product, it's pointless. With KM, I believe there isn't enough end product to justify the effort & apparent constant "head shaking" at team mates. Naismith, will also give the effort, but there is the possibility of a more frequent end product. Saying that, I still wouldn't sign him. The club should be looking forward with their player recruitment. As others have said, his performances at Norwich recently have degraded, they may lift if back at Ibrox, but no guarantee. He would be returning based on past performances in excess of 4 years ago - that's a long time in a footballers career.

Unlawful does NOT equal illegal (in this instance at least). By law

IF Naismith returned, the pressure on him would be unbelievable....IF he wasn't on top form EVERY match, the fans would be right on him. then you add in the feelings from when he left....would he REALLY want to live/play in that kind of atmosphere???

In general a solid, but largely unexciting performance. Generally very poor in front of goal (as has been the norm lately). This however got me thinking....Maybe PC is looking down a Walter Smith type route ie. first & foremost we become hard to beat, then we focus on winning?? I though the defence & midfield looked solid....they tended to allow Marsaille players some space, but kept them very much in check. From what I saw, KM is no asset to this team - a lot of head shaking & walking about without purpose. If PC doesn't want to play Herrera & Morelos together, it maybe worthwhile switching KM for Windass, who at least has some pace and running. Tav & Candeias seem to work well together - similar to Wallace & McKay a couple of seasons ago. If we can get the left & right wings working well, it makes us a very dangerous prospect. Pena was quiet when he came on....would like to see a bit more of him, but who makes way???

Note: the SECTION is being closed.....no-one is being banned, or any action taken against any fans. I believe the "fans" from that section are being relocated for the games in question.

Barrie McKay: Rangers' treatment forced me to leave for Nottingham Forest
Darthter replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
Its a tag that's been hanging around him for ages. Possibly born from a belief that he is better than he actually is. Saw him a couple of times when on loan to Morton....Would definitely class his performances as lazy. Very little off the ball running, expected everything to arrive at his feet. -
I find it amusing that KM has been "shaking his head" at the performances of others. While I accept that he has chipped in with a few important goals, ultimately his work rate to "goods produced" rate is terrible. Miller will run around all game...110% work rate, but we need goals, and on a REGULAR basis. We need strikers who will regularly hit 20 goals per season. I think it's time to drop KM & persist more with Herrera & Morelos.

I've not seen the game, so may be way off with this... By all accounts, we seem to be retaining possession well. In general, our defence seems better. Out build up play seems decent/good. We are creating a lot of chances, but just not putting them away. If this above is reasonably accurate.....at what point does the blame move from the Manager to the players???
-
But is one single player THAT imperative to the whole team??? Could Walker really be the missing link, that turns a team into league winners??? What happens if he gets injured/suspended??? There has to be a balance between requirement & cost. For the sake of a few month, the team that PC has assembled SHOULD be strong enough to perform until the new year, where we get Walker on a Pre-Contract, then offer peanuts for him.

Interesting link....if you scroll down the page, the "Throwing of objects" charge is pretty common.

Looks a good starting 11. I think Alves only joined them a couple of days ago - hopefully he'll get some game time at some point. Also like to see Herrera & Morelos together up front.

No quality, no bottle, no Progrès - Should the manager be sacked?
Darthter replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Couldn't care less TBH.... Doesn't matter whether it's our most experience player or one that's just in the door, they should not be passing comment on the managers decisions or training methods unless specifically asked by the manager. If a player is unhappy about anything, their 1st port of call should always be the manager himself, not the press. IF these comments have come directly from KM, he should be disciplined accordingly. From what I know of KM, it would be rather surprising if he did leak the comments. He always comes across as the model pro. -
Agreed...however, I'd have taken it a step further & specifically mentioned the Journo's in question!!!

500 mile round trip really ain't that far... I took the wife & wean to Liverpool for a coffee (literally - they have a "Friends" coffee shop) last year, and a couple of years ago, drove to London for a gig, then drove home.
-
strictly speaking.....ANY purchase which results in debt, is a purchase you can't afford.

Scottish teams have enough trouble getting past the wee teams.....big teams are a non-issue
-
TBH, I don't think it matters where the games are (though Ibrox is good)....it's about getting competitive games under their belt & allowing PC to identify his strongest starting 11. It's also about getting the strikers to find their shooting boots!!!
-
I think the real truth is that PC must get friendlies in - the team needs games, plain & simple. Without proper competitive games, they will not be ready for the start of the season....and the Euro games clearly showed there is still a mountain of work to be done.
