  1. I think we all respect what he did albeit staying on the same SPL wages playing in the third division etc. I am having a go because of the effort him and most of the other players have put in on this journey to where we are. At the start they didn't have to break sweat playing against part timers who also have other jobs and who earn a fraction of his wages but still had some very embarrassing results. But this season they have been terrible and how fans can defend them is beyond me. In the SPL he looked good, getting up and down the wing plenty during games, good crossing, scoring goals etc. Now most of the time it looks like he can't be bothered going on those runs, him and plenty others haven't given the same commitment on the pitch as like you say they have off the pitch while supposedly being hero's and putting their careers on the line by staying with us and dropping down the leagues. With the big wages he has been on all along I would expect him to do and be much more than he has simple as that.
  2. Overpaid underachiever, we could get much better with the wages he is on, wouldn't be missed much IMO, along with most of our team!

    Attendances

Like many on here I have been going for years and this is the first season I can remember that I have missed a decent amount of games in. We have all seen poor football week in week out for a long time but still kept coming back. It's the lack of effort in virtually all the players that is really annoying me especially for the wages they have been and are still getting and some have the audacity to call themselves Rangers fans

I certainly don't want to stay in the championship next season but it's not the end of the world if we did (which is looking more likely). We should have rebuilt a good squad and first team by now but we've wasted 3 years and are probably in a worse state now than 3 years ago and as we all know wasted millions that could have set us up for years to come! I went to my first game this season last Tuesday and although the last 2 divisions were dire as well to watch, we looked defeated in every way on the pitch. I didn't go on Saturday there as I had something else planned a while ago, which in the past I probably would've cancelled but I wasn't this time just to watch that crap on the pitch give nothing back. I will hopefully get back before the end of the season but until we get effort back from the players (which doesn't look like it will be this season) I can't see us getting a full house anytime soon! Get more youngsters in in place of these overpaid wasters who are there just now and that might help and of course we need to sign players who are better than what we have and better coaches to get the best from these players, but I doubt we will get a full house again until at least next season, even if we did make the play offs!

  6. Was a great night, good to meet some old and new faces, and put faces to names For being out all day with Ian, Frankie and Hastie I would've bet on me being one who would be sleeping early on!! Hope I never bored Gunslinger too much talking about my homebrew Thanks to BH and all the other Gersnet members, roll on the next one!
  7. I'd like any of these dishes Paella de Montaña Croquetas de Pollo Pollo a la Crema Cinta de Lomo en Adobo Giso de Ternera Cordero en Salsa Morcilla Española Chorizo frito al vino tinto Albóndigas en tomate Huevos a la Flamenca Tortilla Española
  8. Aye there won't be a lot of food in my stomach Ian, need the room for drink Need to keep Hastie away from wine though mate
  9. Nothing to fear from the tims IMO, get stuck into them and with a bit of luck we will get to the final
  10. I see Gattuso is a free agent again http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29780923
  11. Didn't Ashely say he wanted another share issue soon? They must be a long term plan surely?
  12. The thing is IMO I don't think many of our fans really trust any fans group because there are so many and all with the usual 'we are the best option' slogan, they will never come together even at a time like this. I gave quite a decent donation (for me anyway) to the Rangers fighting fans fund when that came out, has that even been used, it looks like I wasted quite a lot of money donating that trying to help the club or so I thought! This could be the way forward if everyone was on board but it's not going to happen just now, I can't see 30,000 fans subscribing or anywhere near that figure, can you honestly? If we had a trustable head figure/figures that have also put substantial funds forward then it might be possible but until then I can't see it ever taking off at present or even in the near future.
  13. Exactly this, not that many players get to play for the team you supported as a boy, doesn't make you unprofessional when you play for someone else IMO. Some fans just like to moan about anything these days
  14. All these petitions and protests lined up are embarrassing to some of our fans by the looks of it, at least these fans are doing something about the state we're in and not sitting back thinking this board will come to our rescue like they have done in the last 2 seasons! How anyone can trust this board is beyond me. The only negative is that there are too many fans groups, we all want the same thing, if they could only put egos and differences aside then this board wouldn't stand a chance!
  15. It's not that bad Ian, they've only blew £67M in the last 2 seasons to get us into the Championship while collecting big bonuses along the way, and don't seem to care what the fans think or want, how can you not trust them
  16. I've had a few texts and emails today about the ticket renewals, they do seem very desperate indeed!!
  17. Is Thomas Buffel still playing Gribz Bring back Boyd I say......................
  18. I agree with Frankie, when played as a striker he was decent and scored goals. When played elsewhere he was pretty useless. He was a hard worker IMO, thanks for some good goals and I wish him all the best for the future
  19. We must've wasted a few million? on the managers and coaching staff wages winning these 2 lower leagues! I still can't believe how much they've been paid (especially last season) and not much really has been said about it. Virtually anyone could've done what they have on much less wages, along with the money they've spent on duds brought in it's no wonder we have lost/are losing cash! I have no doubt we could get in a better manager and coaching staff than we have now on much less wages, they might even try and play football once in a while.....
