I'm under no gagging order so I'll try to finish the tale. I believe the rumour you refer to is about Rooney visiting a whore house (rumoured somewhere to be of the mature variety, again) whilst in SA, the media finding out but being paid to keep hush hush until at least after England went out of the WC? People saying it's a possible explanation for his poor form and so on.. Am I close?

Regarding my top, a quick check of my e-mails shows that I had an e-mail saying: 'The following items are out of stock and unavailable for delivery:' with nothing listed below it. My reply from JJB stated they had ran otu of letters but I could go to my nearest store to get it done. Went to the one nearest me and they had ran out of 8's and T's. I get BEATTIE 8. Shambles.

I ordered mine on the JJB site with the badges, my surname and a number. Arrived today with the badges, no name or number and on the reciept the name and number are listed with a quantity of zero and I haven't been charged for them. Seems a hard mistake to make. I've e-mailed them but if I've not been charged I would assume I just need to take it to a shop and get it done.

Just been reading on Sky about Walter saying he needs strikers to replace Boyd and Novo. Tommy Smith and Lee Miller.. it really is THAT bad.

This is the part that annoys me. How many Old Firm players have moved on to the Premiership and actually established themselves in a successful team? Cuellar and Petrov at Villa stick out, if you consider Europa League qualification 'glitz'.. but it's when people like Cousin leave to go to Hull (the 2nd worst place to live in the UK, apparently) for the supposed 'lure of the Premiership' whereas the real reason anyone moves south is because of money and the slender chance of using it as a stepping stone to get noticed by someone bigger. And until the likes of Man Utd and Chelsea start bidding for Rangers and Celtic players, that theory will remain.

Birmingham released Chucho Benitez today.. decided not to sign him after a loan deal. He played 30 times for them this season so make of that what you will.

I must admit.. quite clearly no one here is or ever will be too fond of them. But the way they've gone on this season has taken my personal level of.. is hatred too strong?.. No, hatred to another level. Hately makes a fair point (actually he makes many, but this one I'll pick up on) when he mention who exactly has 'bought into it'. There's always been the 'daft fan minority' aspect and I mean that from both sides who put on the tinted spectacles and go nuts. But when Lawwell and Mowbray start buying into it.. it does become slightly laughable. No excuses.

Folk elsewhere trying to get these printed and passed around. Personally think it's good work taking into consideration the points made on the leaflet come from reputable sources as oppose to throwing around wild accusations.

No doubt people will find a way to hammer him for this interview but I like it. Not speaking about our club specifically but I hate when clubs in similar situations come out and go on about how there's been x amount of interest which is then exposed as bullshit. We're at a time when we need honesty and I know people will find it hard to put that word in the same sentence as Murray, that's the feeling I get with this interview. -

Already hearing jokes about how the kepper should of stopped it and how it more than likely slipped through his fingers.. shocking. Pretty much set in stone to of been Germany's goalie at the World Cup aswell.. madness. You wonder what drives people to this.. I know he lost a daughter a couple years back but the BBC report says him and his wife adopted in May of this year, so it's an odd one.

It's estimated that it would take an offer of around �£40m to acquire Murray's controlling stake in Rangers. Isn't it mental that Ronaldo is worth twice as much alone than Rangers? Nuts.

I disagree. It's been known for a while now the bank weren't sanctioning new deals as far back as the summer and it was only a drastic cut in the wage bill that saw us allowed to bring in one player on load, being Rothen. So with him brought in our allowed total was filled so one would surmise that the situation has now reverted back to being no new deals at all and any renewals being on drastically reduced terms.

I'm totally against people serialising books to the rags but must admit this sounds like a corker. I'd heard that story about Fergie phoning him a million times but it's a belter.
