  1. You did drop a few clangers.
  2. Never fancied you as a quitter, Gav. :fish:. That Chelsea/Bayern game was a cracker.
  3. Good sign for the new website.. normally we'd of waited till it was completed to announce this.
  4. Has now spread to his lungs and he's in a critical situation in hospital according to the BBC.
  5. Just been on Sky Sports News that we've officially loaned Wesbter to Dundee Utd for a season. Not sure if he'd of got a look in anyway but now if Bougherra goes we'll look even shorter in the centre back department.
  6. At least this time the player can't be blamed for going to a much below-par Club considering Bordeaux just won the league in France and as such will be playing Champions League football next season plus Bougherra started in France, speaks the language etc. so the appeal to him personally is obvious. Not as if he's going to an Aston Villa side who will never win anything. I haven't seen anyone here slating him and for the reasons above wouldn't expect to. The Club need a kick up the arse, mind, if this figure being banded about is true. It's almost as if we've accepted the first offer we got without even negotiating. We're about to walk into the Champions League and accept £5m for arguably our best player? Name another side in the competition that would do that. Heard here and there that the Tonel deal is pretty much sewn up but even if true, he should of been partnering Bougherra. Not replacing him.
  7. Quite liking the new interactive player profiles bit.
  8. Also linked to Wigan: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12876_5433105,00.html Skysports.com understands Wigan are considering entering the race for Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra. The Algeria international, who can also play in midfield, is thought to be a target of new Latics boss Roberto Martinez as he tweaks his inherited squad. But the Latics could face competition from France where Ligue 1 champions Bordeaux are reported to be lining up a €6million (Ã?£5.1m) bid. Laurent Blanc's side will be playing in the UEFA Champions League in the coming campaign and the lure of European football could prove decisive. Wigan, who finished 11th in the Premier League in 2008/09, will only be playing domestically in the new term and that could hamper Martinez's efforts. Former Charlton player Bougherra turned down a move to West Brom last summer in order to join Rangers because he wanted to play in Europe. However, Walter Smith's side then suffered a shock elimination in the Champions League qualifiers at the hands of Lithuanian minnows FBK Kaunas.
  9. If you click the link for Man City tickets and have a click about you can see what it's going to look like.
  10. RANGERS have been given a huge boost ahead of the new campaign with the news that Kevin Thomson could start the season. The key midfielder was badly injured last November when he suffered cruciate ligament damage in his knee for the second time in his career. However, he has completely recovered and has been given the all-clear by a specialist to now work flat-out with the rest of the squad and will play in the pre-season matches. Boss Walter Smith said: "The specialist is very happy the way the injury has progressed and it means that he will now do all the work with the rest of the group. "It will obviously take him a little bit of time to get his match fitness up but if we can get him a number of games over the pre-season then he will be ready - if not for the start of the season then shortly afterwards. "I have said on many occasions that I felt he was starting to show great form just before suffered the injury. "It always takes a bit of time for young players to settle at a new club and that was the case with Steven Whittaker, Maurice Edu and Kyle Lafferty. "But they are all past that stage now and I just felt that Kevin was getting to the situation where he was beginning to influence games and hopefully when he gets back he will be able to start where he left off." Bit of good news to cover the dire lack of transfer activity.
  11. Talk of him being found with bag-strap marks around his neck and his wife has been questioned.. fucked up.
  12. I can't see who wins here. Surely JJB are just doing themselves out of 6 weeks worth of selling the jersey before anone else can? And it's a sad day when the release of our own kit is 'outwith the Club's control'.
  13. RANGERS have today been informed by JJB that the new home kit to be launched on Thursday, July 16 will only be available in the Rangers JJB Megastore at Ibrox Stadium. Due to circumstances outwith the Club's control, the new kit will not be available from the Argyle Street Rangers JJB store from July 16 as previously stated. The kit will be available in this store four to six weeks after the launch date at the same time as other sports retailers stock the strip. The Club has worked closely with JJB to ensure supporters can purchase the new kit as early as possible and this has meant focusing on the Club's sales channels - including online - to maximise availability of the range for all Rangers supporters. The new Rangers Home Kit for Season 2009/10 has received extremely positive feedback from supporters since it was revealed on the official web site on Sunday. Confirms any doubts anyone had over this JJB deal being a complete joke.
  14. Does the website not even offer name/number printing anymore?
  15. THE WAIT is over and you can now check out the first official pictures of the fantastic new Rangers home kit. The stylish new strip is launched on July 16 but a limited number of kits* are available to pre-order from Monday. Fans pre-ordering will also receive a limited edition Kevin Thomson print. The midfielder commented: "I really like the design of the new strip and I am sure it will be a hit with our supporters. I knew Rangers were a big club when I joined but when you see thousands of fans in Scotland and abroad wearing the kit with pride you realise how massive the club really is. Hopefully we can be as successful in the new strip as we were last season."
  16. Like it. Anyone any idea where that's leaked from?
  17. Hilarious outcome. We had a power cut while I was at work. Turned back on and it's gone. All is well.
  18. It's brand new. Really frustrating, this. Will try unplugging.
  19. We're not all Bermuda-based accountants, Craig. :fish:. Seriously, this is doing my tits in. Not being able to properly read scout reports on Football Manager is a nightmare.
  20. Moved my PC monitor there and for some reason the display box sayign VOLUME - 0 has popped up and is now in the middle of my screen and won't disappear. The volume buttons on my monitor do nothing and the display box is always on top, meaning I can see bugger all unless I drag my other screens round it. It's a really annoying propblem and can't for the life of me fix it. Any ideas?
  21. I'd take Tonel for his Champions League experience. Brunt, although inconsistent, is an out and out left winger which we are crying out for. Know very little of Baha and Stock. Dorman is a decent player in a position which we have more than adequate cover for. Kevin Kyle would be pointless.. another sort of Stevie Thompson type for us and he's a complete cock into the bargain aswell. Harewood to be avoided at all costs. Has never impressed me at all. Dailly coming back would be fine by me. He's fine to have as cover and his fitness is well above par. Bikey I would take but as someone said his mental attitude can be questioned. Hutton I'd have back in a minute.
  22. Joking aside I like teh design idea behind that. Love the smaller sponsorship logo.
  23. Thanks for that info. I completely disagree with us releasing 3 kits a year from an economic standpoint but still it's always nice to see what sort of designs we come up with. On the JJB front, echoing what many have said here before, I walked into a JJB in Cumbernauld last week and saw a Celtic top and a Man Utd top before layign eyes on any Rangers material. Unreal.
