  1. Very true. But still never nice looking at it when you knew it was coming. But nothing's certain. 2/4 for me on the coupon tonight. Not even getting close.
  2. Like I said.. wish I had balls. This would of been up. Shocking coupon again tonight.
  3. 15 bets if it's 4 selections. Then becomes a Lucky 31 or Lucky 63 if you have 5 or 6. I didn't fancy much today so just took a fiver out my pocket in Coral and put a 30p Lucky 15 on which cost £4.50 and a 50p straight Placepot. One beat me for the Placepot aswell. When the first 2 on my Lucky won the way it stood was if any one of my last 2 won I was looking at pretty much £100 for my £4.50 and closer to £500 if both won.. not to be. Will be back for more tomorrow and got my coupon on for tonight so we'll see.
  4. Was close today. First 2 on my Lucky 15 were 12/1 and 5/1 winners and my last 2 were Binocular and L'Ami.. both favourites. Was genuinely thinking I was gonna win a fortune and the 2 didn't win. Bollocks.
  5. Aye I read that and safe to say we can dismiss it right off the bat.
  6. We'd be lucky to see 2 of those 3 nevermind all 3..
  7. I said at the weekend I was gonna head straight for the Stranraer game when I looked at the next coupon. Not suprising to see such short odds.. they've been diabolical recently. Think the Rangers/Arsenal double at the weekend paid similar to the one above.. give or take £50 or so of a difference. Anyone having any bets for Cheltenham? I'm trying to avoid it this year but I can see me not doing anything then watching all my fancies winning and kicking my own arse for it.
  8. I wish I had a set of balls. Tomorrow night; Dumbarton to beat Elgin: 2/5 Brechin to beat Stranraer: 1/4 Stranraer and Elgin are way adrift at the bottom of Divisions 2 and 3 respectively and both have horrendous goal differences and are more often than not comfortably beaten, hence the short prices betting against them. However, with a large stake there's money to be made. Sticking a grand on the double gets you £1,750. On paper, that's an easy £750 profit. But like I said, I lack balls and there's no such thing as a sure thing and all.
  9. Another unsuccessful weekend for me..
  10. As was said above, definitely a column Smith should be wallpapering the dressing room with.
  11. It's not as big a deal as say the FA Cup. They'll put out a decent team but I'd imagine the likes of Busquets, Caceres etc. to play and people like Messi to be on the bench. They might give it more importance if they want to win the lot this year. Most importantly.. bear in mind Barca are 2-0 up from the first leg. Had an unfortunate incident the other day. Paid a guy out £420 when I was in myself and he told me to pick something out to put the £20 on for myself. Race was coming up and in it was a horse I back all the time called Abbondanza and it was sitting at 14/1 but for some reason I got him to stick it on the 3/1 favourite for me. Low and behold Abbondanza wins and the favourite was 2nd. £300 missed out on due to going against my instincts.
  12. Highly doubt it'll have any effect, mate. As grounded and realistic a pitch as this may be.. if they were to begin entertaining ideas like this then they'd spend hours wading through e-mails saying we should sign Ronaldo and so on.
  13. Possibly the bet of the season tonight.. Shahktar were 3/1 minus a goal in the handicap. It wasn't as comfortable as it could of been but still a great bet and glad I lumped on.
  14. Must admit I've heard this today aswell but would be reluctant to lean towards it being true until proven.
  15. Aye I fancied Coventry against Wolves today and they lead 1-0. Getting ridiculous now.. also looked at Ross County, Dundee Utd and Caley and all 3 just took the lead inside 2 minutes of each other.
  16. Not looking good already.. Birmingham and West Brom both losing. Fecking Lovenkrands! And Motherwell go a goal down aswell.. Christ.
  17. Birmingham, Motherwell, West Brom, Sunderland and Chelsea today.. £10 returns £168. Hopefully.. I'm due in all fairness.
  18. Aye they were he fullbacks in the Irish World Cup team in 2002 as uncle and nephew.
  19. As a WH employee, that's cracking to see.
