  1. Dave Tanner just said that there's more news to come from Glasgow before 5..
  2. True enough.. I had: Everton v. Arsenal for a draw. Cardiff to win. Man City to win. All up but also had Blackburn to win who drew 2-2.. nightmare. 2 nights in a row.
  3. Blackburn looking like beating me tonight.
  4. Sunderland.. Won. Nottm Forest.. Won. Swansea.. Won. Port Vale.. Won. MK Dons.. Beat at home. One beat me for a change.
  5. Just watched Lovenkrands first interview as a Newcastle player.. his accent is still more Scottish than mine.
  6. Birmingham have come out today and confirmed the Boyd deal is 100% off.
  7. Aye the story of Man City making an improved offer for Given is gathering pace which would give any future story linking McGregor to Newcastle more credibility.
  8. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_city/7838966.stm Guess money isn't everything.
  9. I still love people referring to Chick Young as if it's a real poster.
  10. Fuck sake.. Aberdeen came out in the 2nd half and played as if it was the last 10 minutes just camped in their own half and that Celtic equalisier has been coming.
  11. JOHN FLECK was in dreamland tonight after helping Rangers beat Falkirk in what was his first start for Walter Smith's top team. The 17-year-old was named man-of-the match after a terrific display and now hopes he can become a permanent feature in the manager's plans. He said: "It was great to get a game against Falkirk and all the boys helped me through it "I only found out that I was playing when the gaffer read the team earlier today although a few people had said that I would start. "I wasn't expecting it but was really chuffed. "There was definitely a few nerves before kick-off but I thought I did well in the early stages and then fell out of the game a wee bit midway through the first-half. "In the second I got back into it and I'm just glad we got the win. "To be named man of the match was pretty special and hopefully I have done enough to stay in the team." All looks well..
  12. Yup.. Aaron is predominantly right-sided but with a preference to play on the left side.
  13. WALTER SMITH has revealed John Fleck is close to being handed his first competitive start for Rangers. The 17-year-old came on as a late substitute for Kris Boyd in the closing stages of Tuesday's 2-0 Homecoming Scottish Cup fourth round win over St Johnstone in Perth. His appearance was the first he had made in a meaningful game since his brief outing in the last few minutes of last season's final triumph over Queen of the South. Fleck has been involved with the first-team squad regularly this season after going on tour with them to Holland and Germany in the summer. Whilst abroad, he made a notable impact as he scored the clincher in a 3-1 win over Sportfreunde Lotte. Now Fleck could be given the chance to show what he can do in one of the forthcoming matches against the likes of Falkirk, Aberdeen, Dundee United or Forfar Athletic. Manager Smith told Rangers TV tonight: "John is getting closer to the team all the time and he has been training exceptionally well in the last month or so. "He has been playing well in the bounce games we've had and we're just about ready to give him an opportunity to play. "He is deserving of that. We just have to pick the right time and make sure that everything is right for him. "John's a strong lad and I think that helps him. It obviously helps us too in our decision to bring him along. "He is getting to the stage now that when we're having discussions about team selections, his name has been cropping up all the time. "We have a difficult run of games coming up but I don't think he'll be hugely fazed by that. "The one thing about him is he has a good attitude and there's a good level of confidence there as well. I think we'll see a bit more of him in the near future." Fleck has played in a variety of positions for both the under-19s and reserves over the last couple of seasons. That's a reflection of the clear talent he has but Smith is clear on what sort of role he has in mind for his teenage star. He added: "John is a striker. Such is his ability, he has played in a number of roles recently in much the same way as Steven Naismith has for us. "He has been used all the way across the attacking positions because he has a good touch and good control. "He can link up well with other players and I don't think we're too far away now from giving him a chance to show what he can do." http://www.rangers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,5~1521631,00.html
  14. Another Murray response on the official site now..
  15. Just saw this on the 'As it happened' on the BBC: 2156: "I'm a season ticket holder at Ibrox and those opinions among the stands here at St Johnstone claiming we want Murray out are a load of rubbish. Too many part-time fans with part-time memories." An anonymous text to 80295. Interesting..
  16. It's a bot.. posts these automatically as far as I'm aware regardless of the stories relevance to Bears.
  17. Just been reported on SSN that Boyd will have a medical tomorrow after the improved bid was accepted before discussing personal terms.
  18. Don't we owe a percentage (a small one albeit) of any fee recieved for Boyd to Killie?
  19. Boyd at training today.. seems happy enough.
  20. He rejected us once.. he's since went to West Ham and done fuck all and been constantly injured, yet we're interested? Fucking typical.
  21. In a sense I'm happy.. from Boyd's point of view rather than my own. I'm a big fan of Boyd's but the fact is he's never going to win over 100% of the fans due to the people who say he doesn't do it in the big games and so on. So part of me hopes he goes down there, gets into the EPL and becomes a huge success.
