  1. Papac has been one of my favourite players I have to say. He holds himself up well.
  2. But allowing the club to face European fines/sanctions for singing widely unacceptable songs is just stupid. Saturday it happened at home too. It's a personal opinion of mine yes, but I don't see how singing like that endears us to anyone. It gives Septic the upper hand all the freaking time. They have the political argument (one which I completely abhorr and disagree with) but ours is about Religion. I agree most fans have turned things around, but unfortunately it can easily be heard still.
  3. This may not go down well, but I think the fans HAVE to make a change too. Not ALL fans, but those who insist on singing certain songs. Even when Rangers have been completely skint, some fans have continued to sing songs which have seen us sanctioned in Europe, in times when we can ill afford to spend money on fines. If we want to improve the reputation of the club - which is in dire need of it - certain sections of fans have to make a change. Is this all Rangers is? Singing sectarian songs? Not in my mind.
  4. Ugh there is a 50/50 split at my place. Aside from how horrid it would be, I think the Police are right to be concerned. Lemmon is inflammatory at the best of times, imagine HIS reaction winning the league at Ibrox? It would also set the tone, the Rangers fans may react to that and we'd all get the blame.
  5. Would be fucking horrible though wouldn't it
  6. I never thought of this: Might be a load of bollocks but something I hadn't actually considered.
  7. We've nothing to lose by appealing I suppose!
  8. As far as I know, CW basically moved the lloyds debt to his own company so we owe him the £18 mil or whatever. That's where my understanding runs away. I'm sure there is a reason the ticketus money isn't at Rangers but I can't fathom WHY or tbh even why we haven't paid PAYE & NI since last year. Which is the most frustrating part. I'm hoping last week will proved to be nothing in news terms compared to what we'll hear this week.
  9. Celtic NEVER show ANY class when it comes to discussing Rangers. And still they talk about us. But they don't need us.
  10. I think the key thing will be he probably didn't do anything illegal, but what he did do, people find unsavoury and therefore he'll be tarnished. Even if he turns out to be the key to Rangers' survival, his position is untenable. The mhedia have done a hatchett job on him well enough that if he did stay (having acted within the law) the reputation of Rangers will suffer. So as a supporter all his life, he would/should step down when the furore is over.
  11. His financial doping comment is just moronic. UNLESS we have PAID a referee off or another club to win matches we won't lose titles. And lets be honest, we've barely paid anyone so we definitely haven't cheated
  12. The admins have to be happy they have the means to support the club, the means to pay their creditors and also the best interests of the club and creditors. As far as I know anyway
  13. I think apparently he called him a gypsy, but that appears to be about 6th hand information. Someone else may know for sure
  14. More on STV: AND Does no one make morning statements?
  15. There is just so much news! Apparently the SFA are now investigating Rangers/Whyte, suggesting Whyte's lawyer obstructed their 'fit & proper' investigation initially. If true, what the hell were the SFA playing at then? Allowing it to continue?
  16. Addition to the statement, on STV site now:
  17. Yup kinda sticks in your throat doesn't it. It's just a feeder really for the media so they can spend two months HOPING Celtic win the league so they can listen to Lemmon spout his "wisdom" on why the mighty Celtic are victims because everything Rangers do, yes everything, is about Celtic.
  18. @OfficialNeil Well that press conference was clear as mud. Every question body swerved
  19. Couple of points - If they win by less than 10 points, could we not count that as a Rangers win? The last comment there, about devaluing titles, is that a not very clever jab about Rangers "cheating" through buying and paying players we couldn't afford? (Posted this is the wrong place )

  21. I think it's more about Lennon's public image being crap and so this is A Good Thing according to Marketing 101. Celtic haven't held themselves well in the last few days and also it's worth remembering, Rangers are getting all the column inches. For a club who don't need Rangers, they can't stop talking about us!
  22. The above to me is really interesting. I know Whyte won no friends by trying to skim £4mil off the ticketus total by saying it was nearer £20mil, but he does have a point. Certain media outlets have done real hatchet jobs on Whyte and thrown their support behind Paul Murray etc. It's well known that Whyte is not a media personality or comfortable with interviews which might be part of the issue.
  23. Remember this? (well how could you forget) Anyway, do you think Lemmon will make good on his 'promise' to reveal what McCoist said to him to set him off? He said he would if Celtic win the league, which lets be honest looks likely now.
  24. Argh! You're KILLING me with this. Me, my hubby and my dad will be relegated to streaming the game online tomorrow
