  1. I don't understand why he is getting abuse. It's ridiculous. He is so young and yet has tried to help, even if it means leaving. OK, so you could argue his wages don't take much off the bill but say he was getting 3 grand a week, that's £156K a year. How many 'back room' staff could that potentially save or help take the pay cut burden off. Wrong place probably, but I thought Mulgrew's comments yesterday were the most balanced I've heard. He said he hopes things get sorted out at Rangers.(he's a mate of Wlyde's if I remember right, so was asked to comment)
  2. Extremely salient point! Interesting the two disagree. Paul Murray will front the proposal so I suppose it's his opinion on liquidation that counts more
  3. Maybe mis-appropriation of funds? If his investment of 20 mil was used to avoid/evade tax then he *might* have a claim, but the legal wrangling on it would take YEARS surely?
  4. The accounts are being investigated back to 1998 aren't they? Which I also don't understand
  5. He is perfectly entitled to sue given the comments made against him as if fact. He was ousted out for daring to fight against Whyte then publicly accused of being a crook, by a crook.
  6. So much to disect! It's interesting he is already speaking to the SFA around the 'fit & proper' test and makes mention of his tax troubles in South Africa. The liquidation aspect is horrifying and unsettling but FINALLY someone appears to come out with a well constructed statement which has (Apparent) facts in it.
  7. Fair play to him. It's a good statement.
  8. Chris McLaughlin ‏ @BBCchrismclaug #Rangers director Dave King releases a statement saying he believes liquidation is inevitable.
  9. I read it that King "BELIEVES" liquidation is inevitable. Not that it is.
  10. All sounds incredibly dramatic doesn't it? I know it IS dramatic, but the reporting is embellished so much it's difficult to know what to think. So we wait and find out for sure.
  11. Wylde is a young lad who most likely hasn't made the football fortune yet. I fully understand why he would leave and I don't hold a grudge about it. Celik - I hear he is unhappy and I understand why. He has a point about signing players we can't pay, but ultimately as usual this lands with Whyte.
  12. Is it not something to do with a parent/child company, where the child company is effectively insolvent, but the parent company is solvent therefore they seem sound?
  13. Have you seen this? from this article: http://sport.stv.tv/football/scottish-premier/rangers/299801-spl-clubs-discuss-radical-reform-to-administration-sanctions/
  14. RAGE! It won't happen though. Not the point I suppose.
  15. trying hard not to, but I'm reading that and my mind is screaming 'witch hunt'.
  16. New tweet suggests player talks are still ongoing and announcements may be tomorrow.
  17. My company is about to run a competition. We have 30 full team adidas to give away to local youth teams. All that will be required is to submit why the team should get the strips and a judging panel will decide. The competition will be launched on Friday, a well known Saturday morning cable football show will be covering the launch (can you tell I can't give full details yet) Without wishing to put anyone off, a Celtic first team player will be our 'face' of the launch (chosen for his rising status as a Scotland team player, no mention/nothing to do with Celtic), along with a top Scotland Ladies player but hopefully that won't put anyone off, as this could be great for a local kids team to get some new strips. If you know of any teams or have kids in a team who need new strips, please let them know or apply! There is categorically no tokens or buy in required. This is the link to the fb site: http://www.facebook.com/HostYourKit and the website: http://www.hostyourkit.com/
  18. He means replacing. To make Rangers a force, he estimates he would need to spend that to create a backbone of players + some new stars. If we can keep Papac, Alexander, Little (sorry Kirk, not a huge fan) then we can invest in quality additions to the team. Personally I LOVE Papac. I think Alexander has done little to nothing wrong as our reserve, and I'm liking little at the moment.
  19. I was about to "agree" with your post, but the last sentence prevented that, what with being female hahaha
  20. Raman has just tweeted the administrators have told SPL clubs at Hampden they don't believe we'll go down liquidation route. OK, so not new News as such, but every reiteration of that by the administrators is good in my eyes.
  21. I agree, yet not much is made of it, aside from the point of view that it is OUR fault.
  22. I can't think of any other reason. Further sanctions would push Rangers (potentially) in to further debt. The mention of redistributing the tv money as "punishment" etc would hurt us hard - which is what some people want. I've found Dunfermline to be the more reasonable of our creditors. It's also a good news story, which predictably isn't getting the same coverage. In fact, it's getting a by-mention at the bottom of other news articles! More and more evidence stacking up in favour of the Mhedia enjoying Rangers' troubles.
  23. Hmm. So far this seems unusual, because in actuality, Dunfermline being a small creditor compared with others, are less of a priority. The cynic in me wonders if this is to help with the further sanction type things, with Yorkston being against any further action.
  24. I'm genuinely not sure. Maybe there is a value sliding scale? This one debt would have to be at the lower end surely?
