  1. A Mr Law Peterswell. I AM JOKING IN CASE ANYONE THINKS THAT I AM BEING SERIOUS!!! In all seriousness, I read on another forum that it was a Mr Poon.
  2. I think he's still doing Strictly Come Dancing.
  3. Corporation tax is paid on profits, if the SPL isn't making money then it wouldn't pay CT. The SPL is a bank that distributes the money to clubs.
  4. I must be around the same age as you, Gribz (late, late teens) as I recall seeing those keepers too. We've always done well on that front.
  5. Rangers will be in SFL2 next season, of that I am sure.
  6. He's not a director at Hacking & Paterson.
  7. What's a TOR? Tim On Remand?
  8. Shadow of the side that they were under Guardiola.
  9. Never saw it but good result for them. Probably not go down too well but Lennon has built a decent side there. I thought he'd be worse than Mowbray but he's turning out well for them. Their scout John Park is the main man though, he's uncovered some real gems from nowhere seemingly.
  10. Do you ever ask "why did THEY let us survive" though?
  11. Hogmany.... ..... but don't tell a soul.
  12. Until there is fan ownership then we will never truly know who owns what. Green said "Rangers own Ibrox" but going with Dell's rule of thumb, maybe it's on a 100year lease from Shytey Whytey.
  13. So we don't own it then. Thanks for clearing that up.
  14. In the article, the Albion Car park. We were led to believe that the Club owned the car park, turns out we're leasing it. The £1.3m equates to 2,600 potential shareholders money being used to purchase a car park, it's Govan we're talking about not City Centre real estate. But in general, Green says the right things, but following through on them will be a different matter. I know he's spoke of giving National Rail £500,000 to rebuild Ibrox train station, what are the chances of this actually happening? I wouldn't hold my breath to be honest. He says we won't ever play in the SPL again.... again very doubtful IMO, although he did leave the caveat "whilst I'm here" which gives him his get out clause. In general I've been happy with his record so far, all I'm saying is stop talking the talk and start walking the walk.
  15. The big deal as far as I'm concerned is that Green has been economical with the truth and has been guilty of saying what people want to hear. We've had the big talk before from Murray, we don't need or want another rent-a-quote CEO/Chairmen to lead us up the garden path.
  16. Loved Jukebox when he was at Rangers. Looking back, it's too bad (for me anyway) that I never realised the calibre of player we had at Rangers. Gordon was a proven premiership striker and a hero to many Spuds and Chelsea fans.
  17. He's played from the start a few times and been anonymous, such is the curse of the winger. Hopefully he can get consistency into his game.

    The Departed

We never had him on loan. We bought Rino from Perugia then sold him to Salernitana for £4m who then sold him to Milan for £8m some 20 games later.

***** NEWSFLASH ****** Jamie Ness is injured!!!! ****** END OF TRANSMISSION ******
  20. Why doesn't he wear one of these instead? Saves all this arguing and should be a happy compromise for all.
  21. You are correct, Frank, I'm wasn't being overly serious.
  22. In your opinOnion.... Why are folks so easily offended these days?
  23. I wouldn't say that, the bold Frankie turned my thumb upside down on my Union Bears article...
  24. Hullo, hullo, we are the Rangers boyz, Hullo, hullo, you'll recognise us from the noise, We'll be in the wrong, If we sing offensive songs, Not us, we're really nice, For we are the best fans in the world. Easy as that.
