  1. Rangers or HSV?
  2. They won’t.
  3. Well worth reading if you close your mind to the ghost’s journalese. The events and anecdotes are interesting. Millar, Brand and Wilson used to stay after training to work out moves which explains their prodigious scoring feats. The three of them had a private physio. They even paid for him to go up to Aberdeen so they could get their usual pre-match massage.
  4. No. If they’re inclined to travel, it’ll be down the road to Ibrox. The north Highlands are good Rangers territory, I’ll say that much for them. Apart from Alness.
  5. A very good idea. Could it happen? Doubt if County would want it unless they played in Dingwall and I can’t see caley going there. They could play in tartan shirts. I think an Inverness welfare/school team did that long ago. Hilton?

    Crocked XI

    And a heavy price tag.

Snelders the sub ‘keeper. Iain Macdonald outside left.
  8. Hagi might be the creative player. He’ll need a protector/enforcer. That’s what I meant by cruiserweight.
  9. Both selections are lightweight in midfield and attack. That’s not the fault of either selector. There are no cruiserweights on the books.
  10. Micheal Stewart Who’s he?
  11. I’d be happy with a 16 team league.
  12. Horse and carriage. Rowing. Elite even then.
  13. “Best fans in the world no doubt. You guys gave me love & some moments in my life i’ll never forget. Thankyou“ Didn’t read the boards, did he.
  14. Wait ‘til BearGer makes a rousing speech.
  15. His first game against celtic at Ibrox when he lashed in a rocket of a screaming pile-driver smashing half of the defence on the way sort of posted a notice of what was to come.
  16. The entire Faculty of Advocates will be watching this.
  17. Parkhead wasn’t the worst. Broomfield was half decent. Pittodrie had nothing to commend it. Tannadice was all right but better before they built the Fox stand. Emerging from Tynecastle through the Wheatfield tunnel was a nervy affair when your feet lost touch with the ground.
  18. I know the stadia of other clubs are either ramshackle tumbledowns or rancid cesspits but I used to enjoy the old Easter Road especially the top tier of the terracing opposite the stand. Anyone else with a less than grudging word about opposition parks?
  19. Was it not the COPFS rather than the cops? I think the Lord Advocate and the Justice Mis-manager are in at nights and the weekends raking through everything to find the stuff.
  20. Not a very exciting pedigree. The Stuttgart academy and downhill thereafter. At least we know Dykes can hoof the ball i to the celtic net.
  21. I don’t know what areas of law Mr Deans practises in nor at what level but there was a time when Hearts could have had some friendly advice from a couple of High Court judges and a Sheriff-Principal. The Kelty Hearts are apparently ready to have a go. Just needs Buchanhaven to join up for a trio.
