Henderson was a better right winger than Wilson but you’re right, Wilson could play left, right, inside and centre and do a job in defence if required. The most versatile player ever for Rangers? Plenty of players could perform adequately in different positions but Davy was very, very good In all of them.

Difficult comparison. Two different types of player. Strangely Henderson was better in the early part of his career whereas Cooper was often ineffective to start with but matured into genius capable of defence destruction from positions further in from the touchline. As a traditional winger, Henderson was the better.
