  1. Jim Denny and Ally Scott are a couple that come to mind....
  2. i remember listening on my parents radiogram to the reports of the disaster coming through on that terrible night. This photo shows exactly what i was feeling then and every single year since. Gone but not forgotten.
  3. My tribute to the 66 fans who lost their lives on that terrible day.
  4. Exactly, i have a lot of faith in our young players and i think, no, i know they will rise to this challenge and do the club, the fans and themselves proud. I sense something special is happening with these young men and by the time February comes round they will have grow even more. This match will play a big part in their learning curve.
  5. I'm almost with the majority here but i think the club (CG) should have kept out of this and allowed the fans to vote alone. I also think the club should except our ticket allocation and return ALL unsold tickets within the time constraint allowed therefore fulfilling our obligation in line with the rule book and taking our cut of the match money. :-) I also think we should send a token number of fans to any away tie against SPL clubs, lets say 100, which would require policing, stewarding and segregation thus ensuring not a complete sell-out.
  6. Think back to when he left and i'm sure you will understand why he left.
  7. The guy is still in a job for one reason and one reason only and that is to carry out the last of his dirty deeds, strip us of titles.
  8. Just thought of another, Norrie Martin.
  9. seen all these plus Gerry Neef. Still thinking of others. Strike Bobby Brown, before my time.
  10. If you re-read your posts you'll find that you've answered this yourself.

    Help !

I don't speak Gaelic but it sounded to me like the commentator was calling every Rangers player a fanny last night, oh wait maybe that wasn't Gaelic.
  14. Remember watching Bobby (Rabbie) Russell when he was an 11yr old playing for the primary school team and even as a 9yr old i knew he was something special. He was my first real life hero and when he finally made the grade i was always so proud to tell folk i knew him back when....
  15. My dad and older brothers were Rangers daft. My dad's dad wasn't into football really but had a softspot for Rangers. My mums dad was a big Airdrie fan and even managed to turn out for then once. I recall my dad taking me to my first match which was against Bayern Munich under the floodlights late 60's ish, Gert Muller scored the opener with Colin Stein equalising for us. The fans were singing "the hills are alive with the sound of Mullers a bastard" and that song has stuck with me ever since. It was after that match i realised i was hooked on the Gers. I also recall shortly afterwards getting my first Rangers Kit which just happens to be the current one and needing to get the badge sewn on by my mum and then strutting around proudly showing it off as not everyone could afford the badge back then. My whole family are and always will be massive Rangers fans. Rangers through and through til the day we die.
  16. exactly and i'm as guilty as most which is why i'm glad that we have folk that are prepared to keep trawling knee deep in muck because the evidence is there, just needs to be sorted through.
  17. If i'm not wrong, Stefan Klos was penalised for this (european match???) resulting in a goal against us, could be wrong though. The ref doesn't need to give a warning but they should remain consistant, pretty easy rule to enforce.
  18. Someone has to be doing all the trawling and i'm happy in the knowledge that more people like biggordy are stepping up to the plate to help uncover the corruption, in not only this city, but citywide and fight our corner not just in the football world but through local governments and wider afield. I'm sure most honest hardworking folk will be more than shocked at what is uncovered when most stones are turned. Good on biggordy and his like, i for one salute you sir.
  19. enjoyed the video, but would like to have seen a few more clips from by gone days in there.
