  1. Big fan of his so brilliant news.
  2. I think that's Gonzo point, we haven't changed have we?
  3. For me the match mirrored what we used to do to them in the 90's and 00's. Sides evenly matched apart from one or two class players the likes of Laudrup, Gascoigne, DeBoer, Goram etc supplying that one moment of magic that would win matches.
  4. Should Morelos be dropped? no way. I'm almost sure that if Murphy was unfit to start yesterday then Windass would have been moved wide left making way for Cummings to start in the no 10 role. Sure we can knock Windass for what appears to be his lack of effort at times but he has been scoring rather frequent which makes it difficult to leave him out, Cummings is going to have to bide his time. Morelos has got a great work ethic and always seems to dust himself down after a bad miss (there's been a few) but he was left isolated many times yesterday although there's no getting away from the fact that he should have scored not just once but maybe twice. That lot know they got out of jail yesterday so let's hope we learn from this for the semi and book ourselves a final day Hampden outing.
  5. I know plod will repond to any trouble quicker than they did at the republican cup final invasion so i will be at the louden as i want to ensure that they do not instigate a riot by over zelous policing.
  6. So the shit stirrer starts the ball rolling then plays the victim card.....sound familiar?
  7. I ran up the Gullane sand dune a few weeks ago, just the once mind you....
  8. Why no Candeias? voted Windass
  9. Is there no a jail sentence to go along with a wolf whistle nooadays?
  10. I know but that was one of the seven i got right....
  11. dear oh dear, am away to find a brick to hit myself over the head with,,,,7/15
  12. Reminds of those midweek euro ties in the late 60s and early 70s when matches went ahead no matter the conditions.
  13. Craig, I did say "possibly" hand Hearts an unfair advantage and it could have been to our advantage if he had stayed on the park long enough, so from that perspective it should be the manager's decision whether to replace him or not. I don't disagree that it's applying common sense but one refs sense differs from the next and do you really think this is or will be applied evenly by all refs?
  14. Still not getting it Guys. I've played at a reasonable level and seen it done during friendly matches if things get to heated but not during a competitive match. The referee is there to call it on the park not to influence the game off it, i'm certainly not having it, something not right here.
  15. I'm not getting this, why are most folk thinking it's ok to hand any team a possible advantage of this sort? Yes, in a friendly match i've seen this done but surely it's up to the manager to make that call not the ref, am i missing something here?????
  16. Bad news, you may find that Murphy will be less effective against the plastics next week as he may have to thinking about defensive duties more than attacking.
  17. No fucking way, warn the player yes but to advise the manager is bang out of order. So we could have gained an advantage if Hearts went down to 10 men, something doesn't quite ring right here. I actually thought Beaton did his job this time around on Saturday and controlled the game but to possibly hand Hearts an unfair advantage stinks to high heavens.
  18. Candiaes motm followed closely by docherty and murphy.
  19. Just in from game and on a massive high. we were brilliant today. No failures. Well perhaps just one but he should he maybe deserves to be cut some slack.
  20. The guy has class which is sadly lacking in most of the top flight clubs....
  21. I have always said that if there was to be a split then the outstanding fixtures are how they should be played out, none of this playing 3 times against any team home or away. Of course there is a chance that the fixtures could then be fixed in the hope of giving a certain team home advantage in the run in.
  22. Loved listening to stories from by gone days from my auld man and his mates whilst sitting in the back of a clapped out Ford transit van travelling to matches. Also have a few amusing ones from the 70's i'd love to share although some may not be broadcast friendly....
  23. Great idea and something i would look forward too taking part in although as well as developing relationships i'm sure it will destroy a few....
  24. Don't think it's either but tell you something though it's one horrible looking banner.
  25. As the Churchill dog would say " Oh Yes " Now give me a hard question....
