  1. The directors have spent considerable sums of their own money to support Rangers and move it in a direction which we as supporters believe to be desirable. This provides us with confidence that money invested by supporters in the club will be used for appropriate purposes(s); in other words, we trust the directors. However, from what I have read on this and other forums supporters are not over-whelming in their support for the way in which c1872 is run and therefore perhaps it is on that organization due diligence needs to be performed. In addition to the points made by Bluedell I would suggest the statement by c1872 also raises questions of the relationship between; c1872 and the board, c1872 and Dave King and the Board with Dave King.
  2. Rangers got it all together in this match though Glasgow City were a bit underwhelming, perhaps due to their midweek European match. The three players signed from Glasgow City have aded a bit of quality to the team. Strong performances from Lizzie Arnot and Sam Kerr and a goal coming from Girasoli, one of our defenders just like Tav/Goldson in the men's team. Overall, going full-time seems to have made a difference as we looked stronger and fitter than Glasgow City. The victory also means we have a double top; both our senior teams are top of their respective leagues.
  3. Dundee United 1 Rangers 3 FGS: Roofe
  4. I think it is good that we are not as reliant on Morelos for goals and that he does good work in drawing defenders out thus allowing space for others. An issue for me with Morelos is that his layoff play is a bit inconsistent, excellent on some occasions and poor in others. I also feel that he has a tendency to wait on the ball coming to him rather than stepping forward to take the ball earlier. A final observation is that this this year he does not seem to be rag dolling defenders the way he did last season but this may be due to the change in how he is playing within our system or that defenders have become wise to that tactic. It would be useful to see his running stats for this year and a heat map of his on-field position.
  5. The result tonight was a good victory for us but I was a bit disappointed by Lech Posnan who didn't bring much intensity to the game. Nevertheless, the win keeps confidence high and the rest for some of our players will be helpful as we move on to Sunday to try and maintain our unbeaten streak against Dundee United.
  6. Lech Poznan 2 Rangers 2 FGS: Itten
  7. A good performance from the team today much better than in the previous two games. The return of Megan Bell and the quality shown by the three new acquisitions, who have added quality to the team, all helped ensure a comfortable win though it also has to be said that Motherwell were quite poor. A more stringent test of how far they have progressed will come in the next match when they play Glasgow City.
  8. Ross County 1 Rangers 4 FGS: Morelos
  9. Rangers 2 Standard Liege 1 FGS: Kent
  10. Falkirk 1 Rangers 4 FGS: Defoe
  11. Good performances from a number of players, Balogun, Borna, Kamara and so on but for me Roofe stood out for his tireless running to help the defence and of course his goal.
  12. The players put a lot into that game against a team that technically is better than us so a draw is a good result if disappointing because we were two nil up against them. I would have been more disappointed if we had lost four one and only had one point in the Europa league.?
  13. Rangers 2 Benfica 2 FGS: Roofe
  14. 20% of FTSE 100 companies have a CEO who is an accountant, so quite a few are in the driving seat.
  15. Rangers 2 Aberdeen 1 FGS: Roofe
  16. I think it is a bit inaccurate to say Rangers dominated proceedings. They were the better team in the first half but Celtic were stronger in the second half. Both teams had opportunities to score but either didn't take them or good goalkeeping kept them out. Celtic seemed more inclined to defend and hit Rangers on the break where they looked dangerous. The Rangers attack was a bit disappointing, since although having the best of the first half they were unable to make the most of their chances. Vance, Hay (in parts) and Jenna Fife the goalkeeper were the players that stood out for Rangers. A draw would probably have been a fair result.
  17. Rangers 3 Hamilton 1 FGS: Defoe
  18. There were a number of good performances. Whilst I agree that Kamara had a good game I thought the beginning of the game they were more threatening down our left hand side because he was not following Benfica's runners thus leaving Barisic exposed. I thought some of the layoff and hold up play of Morelos was very good, probably his best game for a while but overall, I felt, Davis just shaded being MOTM.
  19. Benfica 1 Rangers 1 FGS: Morelos
  20. Kilmarnock 1 Rangers 2 FGS: Itten
  21. Agree with comments of Dragonfly. Kamara a deserving MOTM.
  22. Rangers 2 Lech Poznan 1 FGS: Roofe
  23. Good start to match with two early goals, unfortunately, thereafter, the team became rather sloppy in their passing and the game fizzled out. There were a number of reasonable/good performances but none of the players stood out for the full 90 minutes. For a steady and reassuring performance I have gone for Helander, with honarable mentions for Jack and Tav.
  24. Rangers 3 Livingston 0 FGS: Tav
  25. The midfield were all very good but the number of times Tav was available to take the ball forward and attack the defence of Standard was outstanding and for that reason he is my man of the match.
