  1. We really need at least 2 or 3 top players. Get a world class midfielder to challenge Matic and Luiz, another AMC (where's Oscar gone?) and a 30 goal a season striker. We still have the best squad in England by a mile though.
  2. They had 1 or 2 games in hand. Failing to win 4 matches against minnows in Europe isn't bad luck, it's a pattern. One we are all too familiar with. The rest of your excuses are all things the manager is accountable for. Signings not working out is something that happens all the time with him, only a few of his signings have been particularly good. In the three years Ally has been here which players have improved?
  3. The admin year, Ally took the SPL champions to glorious failure with 4 matches without a defeat v Malmo and Maribor. Then he blew a 15 point gap and by the time we went into admin we were going miles behind in the title race. Ally would need Dick Advocaat type money to catch Celtic and even then I'd have no faith in it.
  4. And what is your point? Aberdeen the entire club pay all their playing and non playing staff a combined salary of £4 or £5m. We pay considerably more to our players alone. And when we lost a 15 point lead we had a team of players earning £20k plus a week.
  5. Ally has been given plenty resources to have a team playing decent football against woeful opposition yet instead he's brought together a side of overpaid, clueless misfits that play with the ball as if it is a turnip. Ally is grossly incompetent as a manager, completely inept, and every moment we keep him we regress as a club on all fronts.
  6. Ah right, so the big boys did it and ran away. That's ok then. We can then blame the current puppets when they're replaced in a few months.
  7. Some people think the only bad thing was selling to Whyte. Some people even think he really was duped despite the fact the rest of the board didn't seem to be,. Madness. The man sank us and Whyte stole the safety raft.
  8. Yeah, they are definitely the problem here
  9. Speaks volumes that out of all the major shareholders, only two of them are actual identifiable people, one of which no sane person would want anywhere near us.
  10. I've defended him on here before but his pro board stance is laughable, just like everyone on that particular forum. We know the money is in the books, that's not the point. Has the money been completely wasted? Yes. He has basically just proven that the money has been 'spunked away'. And FS was calling out Whyte far earlier than he was. FS was nearly banned and called a 'tim' for what he said about Whyte.
  11. Magath has had a real up and down managerial career. Reminds me of Dick Advocaat. Stuttgart were pretty shit hot for a while under Magath.
  12. Looks like I was right . Though wrong about Chelsea being at home! (I bet I didn't predict losing at home to Sunderland either)
  13. More to the point, you shouldn't be commenting on something if you don't know the full facts. Except, he knew full well the facts.
  14. This would be funny if I didn't know you were being deadly serious.
  15. If his article wasn't utterly ridiculous perhaps he would not be ridiculed.
  16. my eye was drawn to Easdale so I had the misfortune of reading another line of this monstrocity. How on earth does he know that
  17. I don't think it's that hard to see Whyte being a Rangers fan. Who people support is largely irrelevant. It's just competency and intelligence, not personal allegiance. I couldn't care less who any of our coaches or owners supported so long as they had a degree of competency.
