Yeah, don't follow the significance of sitting on the board. Are we to pretend that Romanov did not have complete control of Hearts?

Tbh We've been pretty shite all season in the league. Lucky to beat Swansea last week. Still think there is hope though because I don't think anyone in England is currently that strong aside from Liverpool's recent form. Will be interesting if Liverpool do win the league. They will go into the CL next season as the best England has to offer and will get absolutely tanked. Their attack is great but other than that they are lacking massively. Poor keeper, poor defence, poor midfield, poor creative support players aside from Coutinho. Man City still have to play Everton away and don't see them winning that. I wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool drop points tomorrow and Palace away will be a real problem too. When was the last time a real top side convincingly won the league? I would say you have to go back to Ancelotti's first season. PS - At the end of the day we have been defeated by the likes of Villa, Palace and Sunderland in recent weeks and simply do not deserve to win any title.

Peach of a post match interview from Jose!

Pretty dreadful performance really. I've no faith in Chelsea winning games at the moment. Always scraping past teams. Chelsea aren't completely out of it, it's quite possible Liverpool and City will drop more points. Then again we are likely to drop too.

Britain running the risk of Milliband having power isn't something anyone has voted for though. Aside from the Labour Party electing him leader. I would never vote for Labour so can't be held accountable for such an event. I don't follow your reasoning there (generally always agree with you though). Whoever owned us in a fan controlled environment is something we would hold control over. 'If Britain can run the risk of...' isn't a valid argument. To be fair, we have fans who still think Ally is a manager. On that basis alone, I never want our fans to ever have any power in decision making. Frightening.

Can you name successful collective ownerships in the UK? There may be examples on the continent but we all know how far behind the UK is compared to the success abroad. I think if any club in the UK is going to succeed with fan ownership we would be one of the last given the fractured support. Buy Rangers, Save Rangers, Rangers First, I lose count of all the groups and have no interest in any of them, nor really know much about any. None of them are equipped to succeed. With characters like Mark Dingwall achieving high up influence in a fan group, the idea of fan ownership is frightening.

The only quick way to make money out of us is to asset strip as we see from all the vultures of recent years. To really make a profit out of things, it would be a real 5-10 years + type plan. People will look at Scottish football at rock bottom then us with no infrastructure in place whatsoever and won't be interested. It is possible to make money in this league though, as Celtic are demonstrating and most years they turn a decent profit in terms of transfer expenditure. I don't think they are doing anything overly impressive either. They haven't signed many particularly decent players, but they have signed much better than we have. If any 'bears' with real money wanted to buy us they would have long ago when they could have picked us up for a few million. It seems King is pretty much our only hope. The amount of folk saying they wouldn't mind having SDM back make me want to scream.

Are they likely to stop anyone from ploughing money into Scottish football though? Perhaps.

I wouldn't be bothered about getting my money back and would donate plenty. Conversely, I don't think fan ownership would work.

Has he not already spoken to the SFA and they said him passing wouldn't be an issue? Has anyone ever failed their test? It doesn't seem to really have any criteria given the characters that have passed it.

I cans see the reasoning there. Sometimes ball playing defenders that can have lapses like David Luiz are much better in a DM role. However, Moshni is just a poor player full stop IMO regardless of where he plays. I don't think he is even that good on the ball and I can see him being targeted next season.
-
Well, he has only 5 league goals this season, 3 of which came in the past few games. Also, only 1 assist all season is poor.
-
Defending the indefensible, quelle surprise.

Whittaker's never been a regular at Norwich. 13 league games last year, 16 this year, predominantly as a sub. Regarding Naismith, it can't have been hard for you to think that, he was our standout player! 8 figures is really pushing it even for the Premiership...he's done well in the past few games but aside from that, he'd only ever performed in a couple of others all season. His career there has only kicked off in the past few weeks and he has to keep that form up for much longer. Then again, all you have to do is fart in England and someone will offer £10m for them
-
He will go to the Championship and do reasonably IMO. Remember you saying similar about Whittaker on RM and he struggles to make the Norwich bench, who are struggling to stay in the Premiership. (He has actually only featured in two matches in the last 13 games, wouldn't be surprised to see him back with us) He's certainly not at a level where he would be a top player in the Premiership.
