  1. Did I use the word 'gangster'? I think I used the term convicted criminal. Cheerio.
  2. I think before you get convicted for over 2 years in prison for it then you are pretty much a scummy fucking cunt.
  3. Glad we agree. It's particularly bad when shite bags like Craig Shyte destroy the very foundations of our club doing it.
  4. No evidence? What about the criminal conviction of tax fraud which lead to over 2 years of imprisonment? That's a new one even for us. We've had many crooks running our club but never convicted criminals. Are you being deliberately obtuse?
  5. The key thing here is we don't have to even bother about the rumours. We have irrefutable proof of their corrupt past.
  6. The only way we won't 'scoosh' this league is through our own ineptitude
  7. I wouldn't employ someone who has been to prison for over 2 years to do a paper round, let alone get serious involvement in a huge institution like our club. I find it slightly tragic that I even have to present an argument about this. Common sense has flown out the window. And I don't really buy into the argument that everyone in the corporate world are crooks. We have been bankrupted by tax cheats yet we welcome someone in who has actually done time for it?? Help?
  8. We should be barely dropping a point and winning most games by cricket scores, like tiny wee Gretna pretty much did.
  9. At least if we get done over again by tax cheating con men then we can't say we weren't warned. This time one of them have actually been in prison. How will they pass the fit and proper test by the SFA? Surely criminals automatically fail? I know the brother with the clean record has the title, but it's clear both brothers will have active involvement.
  10. If Smith brings Bain back then I think I will cry for a week.
  11. I find it a bit disheartening that he was allowed to destroy our (admittedly crippled) club without any reprisal. I've seen documentaries of clubs like Lazio where they fans (irriducibili) literally ambush the players for poor performances, yet oor Craigy got with without anything.
  12. I don't think it's a coincidence that Man City fell on their arse this season after initially playing 3 at the back and leaking goals. Similarly, Guardiola's Barca took a nose dive when he started experimenting with his teams of midfielders with a back 3. They generally only deployed it in easier ties but for me it resulted in them losing their consistency when they switched back to a 4. And who can remember Rijkaard playing 3 at the back with Barca...no wonder the guy struggles to find work now.
  13. I don't know why it's such a popular suggestion on Rangers forums. I'm not sure if these people actually watch much football? Sure some sides like Napoli, Udinese and Marco Bielsa's Chile have deployed it with some success in recent years but it is very, very rarely deployed successfully and usually gets used by teams completely out of ideas to little success. It relies on 3 very strong centre backs and sides with high technique and strong tactical discipline, along with an experienced, intelligent coach. Remind me why there's the clamour for such a formation when 99.99999% of the rest of the world are playing 4 at the back?
  14. What was his best? Assembling a board room of daily record jokers and using words like 'darky' and 'paki' in newspaper articles? I don't give a flying fuck about political correctness but anyone in a senior position in business should have the nous not to use such moronic terms like the above in any public situation regardless of the context.
  15. Aside from the obvious lack of qualifications for the role, there's a couple of other key factors here. Walter is all about spending big. He twice was manager in eras where we drastically overspent. (possibly not the first era so much, it was when DA came in that things really went to pot) Post Kaunas he spent large and we went into financial disaster again. Not so long ago he was commenting that we needed to be spending more. Aside from his reliance on spending, there's the small problem of his archaic, negative approach to football that any sensible fan is sick of seeing. With Walter at the helm I don't see any change coming. Was Walter not the manager when we needed the Bank to take control of the club. And now he is the chairman? I don't think anyone in our bygone era of insane, frivolous overspending should be involved in the running of the club. We should be focusing on a future of sensible spending with a focus on youth development, cheap overseas talent that can be sold on for a profit + good attacking, short passing football. With walter as chairman and Ally as boss I can see us overspending on ancient mediocre players with little focus on youth and expansive football. ho hum.
  16. FFS we were in financial meltdown for nearly a decade. We were being run 'well enough' prior to the tax case because we were being run by the bank.
  17. I'm confused. Is the tournament our youngsters are playing in the same one that mols, Albertz etc are in?
  18. He'd have been seen as a world beater if he played in the Premiership. He was far superior to the likes of Lampard and Gerrard. Not only was he unbelievable at shooting, crossing and passing but when he burst forward he would effortlessly take players on as well. He should have achieved a lot more in his career. It wasn't just weak opposition making him look good. He thrived in Europe.
  19. The debt was so manageable that the bank took over the running of the club. When we were nigh in £80m of debt in the first financial meltdown we were most certainly not spending money we had.
  20. I honestly don't know who is competing in this match. I probably have a more in depth knowledge of the conference league than the SPL
  21. We did outspend them and humped them on the park. The two are not mutually exclusive.
