Mostly agree. We looked the better side for an hour or so and certainly should've been out of sight. We had to take some of those chances and instead we responded badly to the first and appallingly to the second. There's an ok team in there somewhere but we're not putting games to bed and are easily got at. The ref didn't miss the chances but his performance was an absolute fucking fiasco.

Fat fingers, small iPhone screen. You can't imagine I'd check out anyone's profile on purpose? I'm far too wrapped up in my own self-importance.

A bit of luck and a favourable draw and we might have scraped in. But it would change the fundamental problems

takes us where?!? What do you think the outcome of an unsuccessful defence would actually be?

That may well be so. And you've got the league-association split which makes it harder to coordinate sub-first team development and, where necessary, apply thumbscrews to the clubs. Heard similar arguments about the lack of game intelligence that Pedro makes applied to the English. But I guess they get away with it to a point because they've got a higher calibre of unintelligent player.

I'd guess they've got the ball most of the time so less likely to be tackling? But they clearly get the 'benefit of the doubt' more than any other team.

Video Analysis: Rangers attacking play (v Celtic)
Oleg_Mcnoleg replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Thought Pena was OK but was slow to release the ball when he had it and got crowded out a bit. But he was hardly the only one and not his fault if others hiding or out of position. Generally, we had to make more of our breaks, as the video analysis suggests. -

Yeah but it was all last ditch stuff after we gave away possession cheaply. Need to man the fuck up -

Aberdeen in contract talks with Rangers target Kenny McLean
Oleg_Mcnoleg replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Indeed. Is he out of contract then? OK player who could do a decent job for most of the clubs in the league and who should probably be playing somewhere rather than languishing on our bench. But Barjonas has shown enough to suggest he can be useful cover in central midfield. Be nice if he was tested a bit to see whether he can kick on. Edit. Forgot all about Jordan Thompson. Is he completely out of the picture now? Pity if so as had high hopes for him -

Holt and Barjonas in the background too. -

dropping a striker and going with a five or at the expense of Dorrans? -
Just logged on to post the same article. Nobody in favour of returning to this is willing to come out to say precisely what the point of all this is. Unless they can come up with something other than title stripping, even those who are no friends of our club are finally beginning to say 'enough is enough'

Pena might be ok there though you'd imagine he'd prefer to play more centrally. Krancjar clearly hasn't got the legs for it. Assumed he'd be used off the bench this season so surprised to see him start .
