I could have understooed slightly more if it had been 1-0 and we had scored late on and been dreadful. Strange

It's the kind of draw - and it's exactly whats happened on here - even with the current squad that a few years back under DA and WS first time around we would be seeing "Aw easy we'll win that group" blah blah blah. I'm sorry to have to say this but I think with the current squad we have to have a bit of realism. I obviously hope I am proved totally wrong for my trepidation and we get the 10 points being spoke about in this thread but I think we need to be careful too. For starters those of us talking about winning away to the Romanians - that would mean WS actually attacking away from home:fish:

Pretty much sums up things perfectly. I was at the game too and the feeling at the end was one of pride. It's always great to beat the Jambo's on their own patch but to do it against all the odds made it even more satisfying and has even led to some Jambo's actually admitting we were the better team! Trust me they don't do that very often!:spl:

Very true mate. Didn't cover himself in glory today but he got away with it. Fortunately at times right enough especially the one in the first half.

I think that was one of the main reasons we should so much fighting spirit today. Was like the Rangers of old. by that I mean like the 9 in a row spirit. Never say die. Remember Davie Robertson getting sent off after 5 mins against the Tims and we still beat them. Today reminded me a bit of that

Looking at some of the results from alst night there a re a few more than decent teams in the competition. The Tims could be really unfortunate and get a right stinker of a draw Not sure if the groups are seeded based or just a straight draw?

I think it was a little bit of both. The JT's in my work were not happy with their team(obviously!) but did add that they had 2 or 3 really good players. Moralles and Mandzukic( good in FM too ) stood out for me

I think he could have been a bargain at 1M if he had been played more regularly. I'm gutted for him with this injury and wish him a speedy recovery

The reality of it too is that Hertz were lucky it was ONLY 4! It could have been double figures. The same kind of showing on Sunday from the JT's would do us nicely :devil:

Pana against Atletico turned into a cracking game with some really good goals. I was flicking between the 2 games and Soccer Secial! Missed about 3 of the goals in the process!!

I have to amit I dislike Hearts immensely when it comes to Scottish football matters. However I hope they get a result tonight. I can't see it though. The pitch sounds like it is in a poor state so they could pick up some tired legs or injuries before our game - shame :devil:
