I have to hold my hands up and admit I was one of Mendes main critics during the season. However with the returning Thoson set to partner Mendes in midfield again I reckon this will help Pedro Immensely. Lets face it the team as a whole missed KT and Mendes was no different. I'd like to see him stay and form a formidable midfield duo with our new Captain - or vice Captain if D Weir stays

At the end of the day - are you reading Samaras - League Tables don't lie and considering Pool only lost twice (IIRC) and Man Ure got 90 odd points you have to hold your hands up and say Man U deserved to win it. I'm away to wash my mouth out :box:

I would agree to a certain extent, but personally last Sunday made it all worthwhile for me! Yes there were lows during the season but there were also highs

Fantastic way to win the Title and brilliant team performance. Even Alexander had a couple of decent stops even one near the end when it was 3-0. Papac was outstanding for me though

I would say yes. There can't be many at all in our squad that knows what it takes to win a Championship. Maybe only Novo and Barry from the last time? He would definitely be at least on the bench. If things aren't working then bring him on like against the Sheep
