  1. J-Rod and Papac for me. Papac has been excellent since he arrived. Not that it would have been hard to have been an improvement on what we had:p
  2. decent draw in terms of qualification, but I would have liked one of the English teams in our group.
  3. I bloody hope not:confused:
  4. Going by that we are lucky to be in the 2nd pot:) Considering only us and Celtic - to a certain degree - do anything. The rest have an embarrassing habit of getting shocked by minnows like Dunfermline a few years back with Icelandic team and DUFC
  5. There were loads of players like that under Eck. I can remember prso playing at LB just about at Parkhead one time:confused:
  6. Absolute cracker. I've got a feeling we could get them in the Uefa Cup draw. Would be an interesting game
  7. I think it's too ealy for them mate. Smith maybe, but Hutton? I wouldn't have him in our team never mind Scotland
  8. Who else would you have in like
  9. Can't see us beating anyone 7-0 at the moment. Don't really care who we get as long as it gives us a realistic chance of going through. I still remember say in the last time we were in it, "top three in the group go through we'll make it easily" we all know what happened!!
  10. Very bad news. I really can't understand how he picked up the injury. The challenge on him wasn't that robust and it was only MicGeady.
  11. It's hard to tell if it was a pen or not because of who it was. Nakamura doesn't exactly need any encouragement to go down. Your first reaction is normally right and my first reaction was "No Way" but then your always like that with the Dhims. Copenhagen were useless too. One of the weakest teams I have seen in the CL.
  12. Yes I would agree about McGregor, but I don't rate Letizi. Maybe a little early to judge though
  13. This is a bit controversial, but would he not be better than Letizi and McGregor?
  14. How many goals has Shota scored this year? He just about ended up top scorer last season did he not? Good to see Mols is doing well although I think his time was up at Rangers
  15. Barry Ferguson gets far too much criticism from certain sections of our support and the media. He was by no means our worst player yesterday. He is still a long way short of full fitness too. Given time and support - a bit like the team - hopefully we will see him somewhere near his top form. To answer the original question the pass was a little over-hit. He can't win if he had went diving in two footed and got sent off he would be getting pelters on FF and because he never he still gets it in the neck.
  16. 5 games without scoring against them and 3 games at the moment without scoring(Boydy was unlucky) simply not good enough. If PLG thought the pressure was bad before it's about to get worse. Tactics didn't work today - not for the first time. Overrun in the middle, weak at both full backs. Papac did OK and Hemdani was pretty solid apart from that we were mince - AGAIN:admin:
  17. I thought the program was a little disappointing. Allardyce and Bolton ended up being the only ones to be looked at really. The program implied that other managers were involved too, but they never had any evidence. I think Sam's in hot water now though
  18. Don't really care who starts in the team (although I agree about Buffel being poor away from home) I just hope we perform a hell of a lot better than we did at Easter Rd. If we don't we're in for another long night. Dunfermline will also be well up for it after our last visit, so we shall need the sleeves to be rolled up. Lets hope for something positive after the doom and gloom since Sunday:thup:
  19. I thought this thread was about Karl Svensson? It's been turned into another go at Murray? I thought Svensson played better on Sunday, but he was posted missing at the 2nd goal. Time is not a thing you get at a club like Rangers. It didn't help Svensson that JRod had his worst game in a Rangers jersey for a long time beside him. Anytime we get beat we tend to pick on individuals(see Hutton for example) and heap all blame onto them. The WHOLE team were poor on Sunday and that has got to be adressed before these next 2 away games
  20. That is ridiculous. How many incidents happen in games that go almost unnoticed yet when it's a Rangers player it's a major crime:admin:
  21. The thing with Romanov is that he seems to have the backing from almost all the Hearts fans. They won't have a bad word said aginst him and they are actually believing some of the sh*t he comes out with. They will rue the day he arrived at Tynecastle
  22. I really do fear the worst for this game. A draw is the best we can hope for and that's not being negative, it's being realistic. We have problems to solve all over the park
  23. It is a long long time since I have seen us as dominated as that in the SPLbesides from Parkhead a couple of times. The players must realise that kind of performance is completely unacceptable. We're supposed to be the ones going for a Title challenge on the evidence of yesterday it looked like the other way round. We better get used to games like that, it'll be similar at Whynecastle Parkehead and Pittodrie(where we have also been dreadful recently. Revolution pppffft we weren't any worse under McLeish:ffs:
  24. It's easy to say after the event mate. I thought it was baffling to play Boyd, but leave Prso out. Boydy is a fantastic goalscorer, but he isn't the greatest at holding the ball up, Prso might have doen better. I don't rate Sionko and so definitely would have played Burke before him. To play Clement PLG probably would had to have dropped Hemdani, who I think has been one of our best performers so far this season, so I thought leaving Jeremy out was fair enough. If the team that started had went out and won 2 or 3 nothing, we would have been saying what a great team selection etc
  25. Watched the last half hour after our 'show' West Ham should have had at least a draw
