  1. Interestingly, the majority of our fans will direct their ire a those who are constantly available rather than those who aren't. Weird.
  2. Don't think anyone is blaming the manager (or previous managers). What we need is to identify the problem and resolve it urgently. However, it shows that there are only certain players the manager can rely on to be fit for the majority of the season. In all honesty, apart from Souttar, I think we'd have been able to name them without the help of this "tweet". Worth noting that 3 out of the 5 listed were signed with known injury issues and history of missing games.
  3. Only 5 Rangers outfield players have managed to play more than the equivalent of 28 full 90 minutes (we've played 56 games thus far). Four out of those five, most fans want sold / chased........
  4. As @Frankie said above, the continually injury situation that has hampered successive managers needs to be explained by the board.
  5. Yilmaz didn't play in the League Cup Final - coincidence 🤔 😀😀😀 That's a joke before anyone jumps in
  6. Maybe me being an eternal pessimist, but I'd say the jury is still out on Diomande and Cortes. Both shown flashes of what they are capable of, but too early to say either way. In saying that, injury dependant I'd like to see us get Cortes back on loan next season with an option to buy. Same with Sima, but think Brighton will be looking to sell him rather than loan him out again.
  7. Should be some team we field tomorrow

    New kit

Like the home and away tops but not sure on the irn/bru / tetris 3rd kit 😀 Anyway, fan media saying the club are denying that this is our new 3rd kit.
  9. Can't disagree with that, but how are we financing the recruitment? Sure we'll free up some wages with those out of contract, we may get fees for Ridvan, Lammers and Hagi (but then again we might not). We can't force players to leave so even if we do get offers, the players may chose to stay. So are you advocating we terminate contracts and payout what they are owed? This window we may get lucky in the fact that Butland may well be sold and its looking likely that SG is going to bid for Goldson and Tav (but I'm hearing Tav is reluctant to move to Saudi). With £4.5M already tied up for Diomande, is it more loans and free-signings we're relying on?
  10. Life is full of difficult questions, some are better answered quickly, some deserve some consideration, some are best ignored. Guess which category yours falls into?
  11. Still waiting on the presentation you promised. 🙄
  12. So how do we suddenly transform the club from serial losers to serial winners without serious investment? Work better with what we have? How are you defining that? How long will working better with what we have take to transform into a winning team on the pitch? Certain areas of the club need upgrading (fitness, coaching etc) which will all cost money. Its a vicous circle that we need to break and break soon.
  13. And accept being 2nd best? That's a genuine question as without further investment, (either from backers, or a few years of CL money), upgrades in certain departments (not just playing staff) we are destined to be 2nd best for the foreseeable future. As long as we remain behind them, then these topics will resurface season after season. We either accept being 2nd best, ot look for alternatives or better ways of working and attracting investment.
  14. Yeah, I knew as soon as I replied what to expect.
  15. So what's your suggestions to transform us from serial losers into serial winners? Other than make it stop. Please?
  16. Maybe they are immeasurable but after another season of horrendous injuries, overall poor recruitment, players taking weeks to recover from niggles, poor trading model, poor fitness levels etc, we have to change the way do things. It may not result in us winning the league, but not changing the above will certainly mean we'll regress further.
  17. I think some of the more pragmatic fans know and understand this, but some just want us to win the league and win it every year. That's not possible currently and seems even further away than it was after 55 (for various reasons). In fact, I'd say that I can't see where or when our next title will come, certainly not in the next few years. Before we know it, we'll be looking down the barrel of another 10 in a row. Investment is hard to come by, but I'd say its the board's duty to seek out and secure all Investment open to them. We ploughed £12M into NEH, could that have been better spent in other areas? It's a great facility but how long until it breaks even? We now have Bisgrove talking about expanding Ibrox - that's going to cost us a significant amount. Will we need 60,000 seats if we are continually finishing 2nd? There is nothing more us fans can do other than continuing to buy season ticks whilst hoping and praying things change.
  18. I hope he does 😀
  19. As pet stats, between Sterling, Butland and Dessers. Gone for Dessers.
  20. All good points and we can discuss until the cows come home, however there can be no doubt that we have to do certain things better and certain things differently or we'll at best stand still, or worse, regress further.
  21. So who are the players who are "stick-on" to start SCF? Butland Tav Sterling Diomande Dessers
  22. Purely guessing here, did Celtic benefit from both?
  23. I disagree, better recruitment and better planning can be measured. However, emotion plays a big part, as is shown by "just win the league". That's the goal for us all. Some will see / care about what requires to happen to achieve that. The majority won't, they just want to win the league.
