What a weird turn of events. -
About 50/50 then, if you're an SNP supporter 😆 As always the problem is who do you replace him with, how much would it cost to remove him and his team, and how much compensation would we have to pay for a new management team. Unless we're going with someone currently out of work? If we win on Wednesday, wonder how much the poll would change!

I completely understand the challenges they face, don't think there is anyone on here who doesn't. However, that doesn't excuse them for continually failing to deliver and improve in areas that have been broken for decades. Issues are real, they affect 1000 of fans week in and week out and are not being addressed and fans are continually "shouted down" when they raise these issue. Having helped run a RSC I have first hand experience of how good the people who work on the ticket office are but their job is continually firefighting issues created by the lack of a functioning ticket system. We have examples of ST seats being sold during public sales and then the stewards telling ST holders that the public sale takes the seat and ST holders moved. We have numerous examples of people doubling up to get access to big games denying people who actually pay for their tickets their seats. Plus people standing in Isles which is a safety hazard. People turning up 1hr before kickoff with kids and not being able to get hot food at kiosks. Some kiosks didn't have water. None of the above is tribal, its factual and its criminal that its not being addressed.

Look I'm perfectly OK with people supporting the current board and I admit they have done a decent job. However, I don't believe they are the correct board to take us forward. That is not being disrespectful to what they have achieved, just that ai don't believe Parks and Robertson can deliver what's best for Rangers. I might be in the minority of 1 in that opinion, but it's my opinion and one I'll defend.

Good responses but I take issue with "better the devil you know". Plenty said same when Murray was in charge....!
-
To be fair, our players barely understood what was going on around them yesterday. So maybe all of them were MOTM...
-
I'm perfectly calm and I'll decide which mood I'm in thank you very much.
-
And SG still in the managers seat.
-
Arsenal goal chopped by VAR - probably right decision
-
Another downgrade from the SG era where we scored plenty goals from corners and set-pieces.
-
To be fair to Warburton and Gerrard at least you could see what the system was and what they were attempting. Under Gio is just pass across the back 4, repeat, repeat, repeat then lose the ball.

So was I but the game that changed my opinion was widweek away to St Johnstone last season. We won the game 1-0 with Kamara scoring early. Set the game up for us to go and get an easy victory. Instead we retreated and allowed Sj Johnstone to attack at will and we were lucky to win the game. IIRC GVB didn't bring on any subs even though 3 or 4 of our players were clearly struggling including Alfie who ended up out longterm bot long after that. The game was turgid and performance was woeful.

Taken from another board Johan Brinkel who is a feyenoord podder spoke to fan media when Gio was appointed. Think it was the same guy that spoke to both Heart & Hand and also thr Rangers Review. Some comments of his below: “He was our coach for four years, in those four years I only remember that he played a different system once. “That was in the Champions League when we were facing Manchester City that he decided to play five defenders instead of four but it didn’t help because we lost 4-0. “I don’t recall any other games that he was playing a different system. He really likes to play a 4-3-3. “When we talk about van Bronckhorst we always say ‘The Horseshoe’ because what he always did, that irritated fans so badly, was the left-back played it to the centre back, the centre back played it to the other centre back and the centre back played it to the right back and then the other way around so it was quite predictable. “Teams figured out if you basically stopped our midfielders from being part of the game, Feyenoord doesn’t know what to do. Even though we had better teams from 2017 onwards, we didn’t become champions anymore, we didn’t play a role in the championship whatsoever. We won the cup in 2018 but the best season was the 2016-17 season when we became champions. “We sold a couple of guys and the guys we got in weren’t that good so the money we spent was not well spent. They basically stopped developing and got worse so he never replicated that fantastic magic season in 2017." “I think most of the fans were quite happy when he left. “Four years in football is a long time so we do like the fact that he wasn’t fired, he left through the front door. “Everybody said, ‘Ok, we respect you, so let’s finish this together’, even though, especially in his last season the football was terrible and the performances weren’t good."

OK back on topic - GVB not going anywhere soon getting to CL group stages has gotten him to end of season unless some goes even more spectacularly wrong than it did yesterday (like not finishing 2nd.....)
-
Brighton continuing their great start to the season - 4-2 up with less than 10mins to go. Had a goal harshly ruled out by VAR as well
-
I honestly don't believe any player deserves MoftM accolade after yesterday's performance. In fact I'd be struggling to vote for a "least worst man of the match" if I'm being honest.
-
I was asked why I don't fancy this board and I responded then was told my opinion may not be valid. I don't have a grievance I listed legitimate unresolved issues that sit with the current board. Many topics stray, feels strange to be pulled up on this one to be honest
-
@BillYou better have a word with these troublemakers, they appear to have an invalid opinion....
-
So who decides who's opinion is most valid? You? Me? No response to my "valid" points - seems a trait of yours to be honest

The things I have listed have been broken for years, even decades. Having our disabled fans struggling to access the stadium and sitting exposed to the elements with the worst view is past embarrassing, its neglect and disdain. Our ticketing system is an utter shambles yet we have some great people working in ticket office who through their hard work and dedication get most issues resolved, but a working fit for purpose ticketing system would resolve this. Its relatively easy to install. Ignoring this is neglect and disdain. Catering at Ibrox is woeful and has been woeful for years no matter who we "partner" with. Raw food, cold food, no food and overpriced, again easy to resolve. Ignoring it is neglect and disdain. Ticketing pricing is one of highest in Europe for European games. This and past boards want us to stump up and shut up. Arrogance from the board and banking on blind loyalty. Ignoring it is neglect and disdain. Customer Service - a laughing stock and has been for years. Ignoring it is neglect and disdain. There are other areas that badly need improved, but that should be enough to keep the current board busy for a year or two. I know, I'll still be complaining about them in 5 years time as the boars will be diddly squat. I'm happy to wait a day, a week, a month maybe even a year. But a decade? I don't think I have ignored the progress we and the board have made. We can't sack the board, we can only hope that someone better comes along and buys them out (maybe this is what they are hoping off by hedging all the money we've made in last 18 months). Questioning the board has become the "not done thing" again, as it was under Murray but its something we should he doing regularly. Robertson and Park are not who ot what I want running my club, that's my opinion and its as valid as anyone else's. They along with David King (or he who should not be named as he's called now) deserve enormous credit for getting control of our club, but as the old slogan said, we deserve better.

Is it unrealistic to have a ticketing system that works and is fit for purpose? Is it unrealistic to question ticketing prices? Is it unrealistic that our disabled fans struggle with access to stadium and are housed at front of West Enclosure open to all elements? Is it unrealistic to expect catering a Inbrox that is fit for purpose and priced realistically? Is it unrealistic to ask for a short, medium and long term business plan to be published? Is it unrealistic to expect the board to ensure we are treated equally? Is it unrealistic to ask the board questions and hold them accountable if things go wrong? Don't think I'm asking for anything unrealistic. I've stated IMO that the board have prioritised Europe due to the financial rewards, that's fine but by doing so they must realise questions will be asked about our domestic demise. My opinion which I am entitled to and doesn't make me any less of a fan or mean I'm jeopardising anything, quite the opposite. This board are NOT what is required to take us forward and the unanswered questions above are proof if it is required that they are neglecting their duties.

I was discussing the game with a fellow Rangers fan yesterday and said exactly the same (goes for any game really). The League Cup Final 1-0 is a prime example. We lost the game but battered them all over Hampden. In fact, was probably the game where we lost that fear factor that had developed. Unfortunately and don't know why, that fear factor is back - we looked scared of them and are beaten before a ball is kicked.

Not even close, I'm fatter and have grey hair 🤪
