  1. Lille President was on Talk Sport this morning and confirmed they had a £16M bid for Alfedo rejected by Rangers. Said they are now well covered in the forward areas but may return with an improved offer for Alfredo. Several outlets running with our interest in John Lundstram who has rejected a new contract with Sheffield UTD but still had a year to run on his current contract.
  2. Good move for him and sure he'll.be a success at that level. Goes with my best wishes.
  3. We defeated Plymouth 3-2 at a game at the training centre today. There is a report on the PAFC official site but no mention of our players / team. Rumour emanating is that we had a at least 1 trialist playing with a view to signing. The name being suggested is Jack Wiltshire. Very injury prone, but when / if fit, an exceptional footballer. PS - I'm taking the rumours with a pinch of salt, but there is obviously a reason we are not reporting this game and not allowing PAFC to advertise what of team or goal scorers were (they just mention numbers)!!!
  4. If this is genuine then we should be looking for £17-20M. EPL is cash rich and we should be looking at a £10M+ profit on Kent. Given the interest in Alfredo has subsided, we may entertain offers for other players.
  5. Without checking the results, I'm sure the last time we won the SPL we dropped points at places like Livingston, so off course we can win the league even after dropping points against Livi. Clubs who've taken most points from us and Celtic since start of 18/19 season Killie = 15 points Livi = 10 points Hibs = 8 points Aberdeen = 7 points Hearts = 7 points
  6. Read somewhere that if we had won on Sunday it would have been 1st time in a decade that we'd have won our opening 4 league games and it's the 1st time since the 40s we've not conceded a goal in the opening 4 league games.
  7. I'm obviously in the minority, but what do people see on McCorie? He is not the standard we require and shown nothing to suggest he could become a mainstay in the team. Sticks on my throat wishing him well at Aberdeen, but I do, wish the lad all the best.
  8. To be fair he showed more in his cameo than Hagi, Arfield and others showed.

As someone who has "liked" Chelsea since early 80's and who has always had a warm welcome whenever I've visited / attended Chelsea games, historically, if Rangers have a relationship with an English (or London club) it's undoubtedly with Arsenal!
  10. A voice of reason in the mad world of supporting Rangers. We would all love is to win every game, we would all love us to play expansive football every game, but alas the real world is not like that. At the start of the season I'm sure we all realised that we'd drop points at some point in the season (some of our fans were saying it was gonna be on the 1st day of season). We'll drop more points, they'll drop more points. We are 4 games in, we've won 3, drawn 1 and yet to concede a goal. Note quite 10/10, maybe 7 or 8 out of 10. I'm sure the team and squad will improve as the season gathers pace. Roll on Saturday and Killie at home.
  11. Horrid performance - I hate everything about Livingston and we should be beating teams like Livi every day of the week. Only positive is another clean sheet but scant consolation.
  12. Just not happened for Hagi in league yet. Surely it had to to be either Jack or Kamara that had to go off there?
  13. This would get football stopped - no wonder Scottish Football is dying. Up to us to break it down, but by fook this is torture to watch.
  14. Thought I had done this - ooops Rangers 2 v 0 Livi Alfredo FGS
  15. Like SG, I have no problems with Livi (or any other team for that matter) being aggressive, in fact, I want Rangers to be aggressive, but has to be in the correct manner. Our management team and players will be aware of Holt's words and I am sure they'll made aware of the tactics Livi will employ tomorrow and we can use that to our advantage - that was the reason for the OP. Hopefully the mana gement team will remind the officials of their duty tomorrow to ensure that the aggressiveness doesn't cross the line into nastiness and thuggery (no laughing at the back).
  16. Terrible news. Tom was guest of honour at our RSCs 70th Anniversary at Ibrox Suite a few years back. I had the privilege of sitting next to him at the top table. A true gentleman who was a credit to our great club. RIP Tom, thoughts and prayers with his family at this sad time.
  17. It would be a diet coke for me mate - 9 years now without s drink (lifestyle choice, long story). My cousins family live in Bermuda, always meant to visit when I was living in Toronto but never got round to it!
  18. Might have a drive up to Livi on Sunday as you can see into the ground from the road above the ground ?
  19. The two RTV broadcasts have shown SKY, BT and BBC how it should be done and how easily it can be done. All it requires is people who actually know what they are talking about and who can articulate this to the viewers. No agendas (hidden or otherwise), just pundits and presenters that know what they are doing. Would be interesting to see RTV viewing figures compared to SKY, BT coverage of our games.
