  1. KT leaving Kelty the day The Athletic report Gio wants to bring another coach in @craig
  2. Don't know how true it is but we have apparently offered Aribo, Kent and Morelos new contracts. Again, it may just be rumours but apparently Kent and his partner have just purchased a new house in Milingavie.
  3. Gerrard aside, it will be interesting to see how Beale copes as a manager. Hoping he's a success as would welcome him back to Ibrox.
  4. Voted for Tav - his numbers, especially in Euorpe are phenomenal
  5. Yeah, but one mistake from the lad that costs us a goal / points, the vast majority of fans will be screaming for him to be dropped.....
  6. Tragic news
  7. So you admit that you haven't seen Lowry struggle against amateur teams like Bo'ness United and Civil Service etc? Games where if it were in front of our fans or live on TV hed have been slated. I don't have access to the players day to day but I know I have to trust the RYD and 1st team management teams to do the best for Lowry and others - that's part of their job. In the last league game at Tynecastle, Lowry tired badly in 2nd half (or dropped out the game) in a game that was played at the pace of a training match. As explained previously, none of the above is a criticism of Lowry - I rated him very highly but he still needs to develop before he can become a 1st team regular.
  8. Nottingham Forest 45mins away from EPL with centre half pairing of Joe Worrall and Scott McKenna 😏
  9. Any time I've been, and it's been a while, I've found Stamford Bridge to be old and dated. I loved the old Bridge with the Shed and the seats, created some atmosphere. But I can say the same about other grounds Pre-EL seated stadium - Maine Road, Goodision, Highbury, Upton Park etc. Last time I was at the Bridge I was in "main stand" and whilst the facilities (food / drink etc) were good, the access to and from seat and the view was poor. I was also surrounded by "tourist fans" which isn't unique to The Bridge. I've Rangers in a few of the new grounds in England - Arsenal, Newcastle, Man U and would say Emarites was best for away fans - lost of leg room and comfy seats as I was at the back row, a great view. Newcastle was strange as we got the home end it looked the worst stand in the ground! But great view and decent facilities. All just my opinion off course 😀
  10. Ryan Jack Out Of Scotland Squad due to injury.
  11. Nobody and they've already set the narrative that it was fans arriving late that caused the problems
  12. Hope he is OK Bearger and gets safely. Not been a good week / 10 days for UEFA showpiece finals.
  13. Bassey' s Instagram EDIT - apparently an old post, not new so please ignore
  14. As long as he brings Bale with him, it's a yes for me 🙂
  15. Ross Stewart from Sunderland rumour gathering pace - although it's thought Sunderland are looking to make him highest player at club in bid to keep him (If you believe the rumours).
  16. Thanks mate - appreciated
  17. Really? I think it's more of a balancing act to be honest. I'm sure Lowry has played more minutes at this stage of his career than he expected to and I'd be disappointed if he didn't want more, bit as we have to trust the manager and staff to do what's best for these players, the team, the squad and the club - a balancing act. Would we have gotten to EL Final if we had played Lowry, McCann, King, Devine and McCorrie in the knockout ties? Doubt it.
  18. I don't watch them all, but got through to a fair amount of B games this season. Lowry was a standout in certain games, at times he looked head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch. Other games (Bo'ness away, Civil Service Strollers at home spring to mind), he look like he had just been introduced to football. That's not a criticism, that's just how young players are. On other occasions, other players have stood out - Devine, King, McCann, Weston? MCausland etc but never consistently - again not a criticism, it's just how your players are. As fans we have to trust the staff at the club to do the right thing for these prospects and that'll usually be the exact opposite that us fans want.
  19. Serious questions; 1. Do you see Lowry every day in training? How much have you actually seen off Lowry, outwith his games in the 1st team? 2. Would you concede the SG / GVB and their staff (or the RYD staff) know more about Lowry's attributes and what's best for his developments than any of us on a fans forum?
  20. Thanks mate- will keep that in mind 👍
  21. It's not just about the ST price- it's getting there (car, public transport, supporters bus), a few pints before hand (not a cost I have as not drank for 11 years), food, programmes etc especially if you have kids - add away trips, cup ties, Euro trips - all adds up. One of my boys wants a season ticket and I've used the "waiting list" as an excuse (I could afford it, but other-half wouldn't be too happy), but take him along when I can get a juvenile ticket close to my seat, and luckily for me he enjoys the B Team games so I take him to them (thankfully my other twin boy has no interest in watching football).
  22. Different Hearts team and different environment. One was an end of season kick about that had the feel of a friendly match, the other was a domestic cup final and our last chance of silverware. Imagine the outcry if Gio had started King, Lowry and McCann and we had lost. Lowery played very well at Tynecastle but I thought he faded and/or fell out the game in 2nd half. For what it is worth I thought Amad was fine in SCF and his replacement, Scott Wright was excellent. Lowry will get more game time next season, there is no doubt about that.
  23. Luckily I am in a position to renew but thought about not renewing due to rising costs (fuel, energy etc), but I only really spend disposable money on going to football and funding my local vinyl store. There will be many who'll be struggling to justify the cost of renewing against souring fuel and energy bills and with inflation heading into double-figures. I hear retirement is over-rated anyway.
