  1. Well when everyone and their dog know we're skint, the player wants to leave and the club are desperate to offload, that's what happens.
  2. If we can move Cantwell and Wright and bring in £2.5M then it's decent business.
  3. Hey, don't shoot the messenger 😀
  4. Didn't the manager say that those leaving this week weren't in Saturday's squad? Maybe a multi-million pound bid coming our way?
  5. Merits a ban @Rousseau 😀
  6. Hard to disagree to be fair. A few candidates but Matondo for me for the reasons given by @Rousseau
  7. Unless we sign a right back and number 10 in the next few days, both will play or play some part on Sunday. Over the last 2 seasons, I'm sure Tav is our top scorer against them at Parkhead - therein lies the problem. Butland Tav Souttar Any fit / new CB if not then Sterling Jefte Diomande Barron Lawrence (or new signing) Cerny Dessers Matando I'd be tempted to play 3 genuine midfield players but with Raskin injured, our options are limited unless we sign someone. So in reality we need a RB, a CB (or 2), a CM and a No10 - can't see is getting them all in before the window closes.
  8. Decent performance and scored some really good goals. County were poor but can only beat what's in front of you. Jefte, Matando, Barron, Dessers all excellent. Lawrence played well in patches. Onto next week we go
  9. Two very good goals, hot woodwork twice (Lawrence should have scored) but still a little suspect in defence. Left hand side far more balanced and effective than our right hand side. Oh, and looks like we're off to Parkhead with 1 centre half 🙄
  10. Rangers 3 v 0 Ross County Cerny FGS
  11. I'm more worried about the contractors working so hard they develop a muscle injury and are out for 4-6 weeks.
  12. It has certainly taken off and sounds amazing.
  13. It was a generalisation, but the point stands, grown men fight at football I witnessed one between two middle aged Rangers fans on Saturday close to half-time (top section of North Stand), maybe we should just ban all fans then? The incident has been dealt with, the person has been identified and will no doubt be banned from Rangers and hopefully all football games. A visit to Court and a criminal record / sentence also (rightly) awaits him. Certainly deserves everything he gets. I had an old boss, one of the best bosses I've ever had who followed football all his life and unashamedly said that all football fans are arseholes - he's not far wrong.
  14. Easy target are the UBs - and agree 100% a brilliant song celebrating our history and some of our iconic players. I find it hard to see why any fan wouldn't like it.
  15. Ban the UBs and Hampden would have been empty on Saturday. Wee boys fighting at football is certainly a new issues that we've never experienced and or dealt with before. In this instance the guy has been identified / caught and he'll be banned (rightly), but can and should we ban a whole section for stealing a drum? I remember during Alistair Hood's days, Rangers did hand out a blanket ban on 50 (IIRC) Blue Order members for standing at a midweek game. The only problem, the 50 were randomly selected and included a number of people who weren't even at the game 😔 Rangers security did say at a briefing that The Blue Order gave them more issues than Hibs, Aberdeen and Celtic fans combined 😀😀
  16. Jefte by some quite a distance.
  17. Don't think Morelos has tanked, he's currently scoring goals if his socials are to be believed. On the flip-side, Bassey is now a regular in the EPL, Aribo is in Southampton squad, Kamara got a move thanks to his performances at Leeds last season. Like most things in life, some will lead to better things, others not so much.
  18. Butland - nothing much to do but some nervous moments Tav - mostly terrible Propper - OK then injured Souttar - hot and cold Jefte - excellent and MOTM Sterling - struggled and didn't look fit Diomande - same as Sterling Dowell - poor Cerny - poor Danilo - poor but just coming back from injury Matondo - decent Barron - very good again Dessers - as per Barron McCausland - good finish for goal but wasteful prior to that Fraser - tidy in what he done Davies - didn't do much wrong Overall a decent result and into the next round but I'd only be confident of beating Spartans. Jeftes, Matondo, Dessers and Barron only players who deserve praise/pass marks. Performance wasn't the best, our right side of Tav and Cerny didn't click at all and at one point Sterling was playing RB and Tav midfield and it still looked weak. Danilo just coming back and good to see him get minutes. Missed a few chances but hopefully his sharpness returns. Someone posted the other day that we are a Dessers injury away from being a mid-table team, it's hard to argue with that assertion at the moment. We are still 5 regular starters short - CB, RB, CM, CF and #10 and have 2 weeks to rectify the situation.
  19. For me, he linked up well with Jefte both defensively and offensively. He was always driving forward and created a few chances, including a great ball for Dessers goal.
  20. Have to agree, some turd polishing going on post match. Jefte was easily MOTM and as I said earlier only Jefte, Matondo, Dessers and Barron got pass marks for me. Rest varied from average to awful. We are at least 5 players short which means we will need to shift 5. Can't see that happening before window slams shut.
  21. Frame this - celebrate good times........
  22. Yeah, but how would segregation work? You couldn't give Celtic a section of any of the stands due to entry / exit issues. We can't give them a 50/50 split, so what would happen?
