Thanks River bear I take your point and if your work covers that area I also accept what you say,but I still think we should be looking after our own and then if things are working then help immigrants,refugees etc. I know that many are fleeing countries because of oppression and do feel sorry for them,but they come here because Britain is a soft touch. We are but a small island nation and the gold paved streets don't exist as can be seen by the savage cuts in services we take for granted. Personally I am not a rich person but my wife and I own our own flat,but due to the local housing association having bought over four flats in the tenement find ourselves living next door to what I would call undesirables. Having worked since 1968 with less than 6 months unemployed in that time and still working part-time to keep me in a routine so the changes I have seen in Britain over the years don't always bode well for me. Anyway this thread has a long way to run and this will probably be my last post on the matter.

Re immigrants I feel that too much is thrown their way when we have many of our own country persons living on breadline,having to put up with work assessment etc. who should be benefiting more than immigrants.

No doubt they are investigating all our signings for any minor history they might have.

I would like to expand on my use of "normal human beings". IMO the main purpose of having intercourse is for females to conceive and produce offspring hence my statement. Having "sex" for pleasure is a completely different issue and as "gay" men/women are unable to conceive in their interaction quantifies my statement. Maybe my statement was the wrong use of words and upsetting anyone was not my intention.

Listen guys I made my comments in a general sense of what seems to me a leaning towards minorities. I have a nephew who is gay and have no problems going out and socialising with him and have worked in a job where there were a few "gay" guys and often socialised at works night out parties. However i did have a situation which disturbed me in that my "sister-in-law" tried to hide the fact that my nephew was "gay" when both my wife and I knew the truthand were upset by her actions,so please don't think I am against these persons. The point I am /was trying to make is about the hysteria concerning minorities.

What annoys me is that no support is asked for normal human beings. IMHO the balance towards equality is aimed toward minority groups be it as the post or immigrants etc. I have grown up respecting people and faiths but too much is aimed at minorities leaving me feeling like a guilty person with my own thoughts.

I can't believe we won the game when reading all the negative comments on here. IMHO we were by far the better team although there were a couple of lapses and expect we can only get better from here onward. A game lasts for 90 minutes and no matter the team playing be it world champions/European champions or whatever it is impossible to dominate. This banana skin is past so let's look forward.

Kiernan was badly let down by playing beside Tav "The Wanderer" when no other right sided player was dropping back to cover Tav,IMO. Have noticed in games so far his wandering has been curbed which made him have a better game against Marseille.
