Myself and my oldest son were shocked and neither of us having had a season ticket made an immediate decision to get one each. I personally stood in the ticket office queue from just after 9.00 till 16.45 when I received a call from my son saying he had managed to get them online,albeit not together but in close proximity,and now sit beside each other. It was the day even Charles Green had us believing he was our saviour as he talked to the queuing fans. Anyway we went on the "journey" with our club which now seems in a better place.

Some interesting results and heartbreaks,Kidderminster being mugged twice in added on time periods,our ex player Ryan Hardie missing a penalty to take game to shoot-out,Man U beat by Middlesburgh,Leicester gubbed by Notts Forrest and Bournemouth by Boreham Wood.

Quite funny at shoot-out,Egyptian coach comes out and TV camera concentrates on water bottle with obvious notes attached.When penalties begin the Egyptian goalie hides bottle inside his towel,and between penalties refers to notes.Did not do him any good though EH?. Reminds of time in tennis when Djokovitch done similar between games.

Was great to be there today Alfie sensational,Jack/Lundstrom dovetailing well with the latter being used properly,Kent on fire and the rest efficiently doing their jobs with a slight hiccup at times. The only thing spoiling today was the Hobbit. Liked the welcome we gave Andy Halliday.
