  1. He was also quite Witty. A definite improvement from big DJ
  2. Unfortunately when I watch the likes of Liverpool and Palace yesterday and even Leicester I am afraid Ibrox sounds like a morgue. i don't know if it is the positioning of microphones but large group singing seems non-existent over the telly.
  3. Were Celtic not 19million in debt a couple of years ago? How much is that now?
  4. I can't remember what games but he was man of the match at least once and he was certainly not the worst player in most of the games.
  5. Home Team Rangers. Away Team Kilmarnock Possession Home64% Away36% Shots Home24 Away7 Shots on Target Home10 Away1 Corners Home10 Away3 Fouls Home12 Away14
  6. I felt Holt disappeared in the second half but was indeed good in the first half
  7. I just watched Chrystal Palace v Liverpool. What a fantastic game ending 2-4 for Liverpool. Liverpool really are a dream to watch but Palace also made a match of it getting back to 2-2 McArthur twice with the head.
  8. Disagree that was by far the best performance of the season. We played far compacter and looked far more confident. I will even put my finger where I think the difference is. The full backs getting further up the field and being a danger again. Whether that is due to the better defending by Kiernan and Hill I don't know but suspect played a role. We were starting to be a static back 4 with Wallace and Tav only defending really. Maybe they realise Hodson is close on their heels and they can be dropped. That gave the midfield far more options which made their job easier. I don't know what happened to Miller or where he was playing really but he looked like a young puppy with an old head. O'Halloran was indeed also excellent and even defended well when Tav burst forward. I have often thought the reason McKay played well last season and poor this season is Lee Wallace. Last season when Wallace was bursting past him he could feed it through to him or cut inside. This season Wallace was almost static which meant Barrie had to go past the defender and that is not his strongest point. What a difference a day makes as they say and I hope it is the start of something new and we race towardc Celtic. Unlike some I have still not given up the league I have seen better teams than this Celtic capitulate a lead.
  9. We don't get players in the boxand until that happens we won't get dangerous in the final 3rd.
  10. Personally I think he took the blame for all our bad results. He was not great I admit but then who was. Barton was also motm at least once in the games that he played.
  11. Still bleeding 3.3 million that can't be good but I suppose we knew we would be for the first few years.
  12. The whole thing is a disgrace and the fact that Warburton didn't even have the respect to turn up to be part of the discussion is shambolic. How in gods name can you have a disciplinary meeting without hearing what both sides have to say when they are face to face. Whether Barton is right or wrong doesn't change the fact that Rangers are making a mockery of the whole thing. It looks like they want an apology from Barton and he is refusing. If he feels he is right then he has the right to refuse but then the board should have had them both round the table. Maybe the board should just knock both their heads together as it looks like 2 stubborn mules facing up to each other and Rangers football club and it's fans are real injured party.
  13. Just throwing this up for discussion not what I recommend. To get Waggy in the middle there are 3 options I think. If Garner can play out wide left then he would be a huge threat coming in for headers at the back post if McKay or O'Halloran could get in decent crosses. The other 2 options would be to go 4-4-2 or 3-5-2. 3-5-2 would probably mean Hill, Kiernan and Wilson. If Crooks could do what Ball did last season then the 3-5-2 could be a viable option. I doubt it would be a good idea with Halliday as defending mid. In a 4-4-2 you would probably have to have Tav and Wallace as half-backs which would be detrimental to the wing play. I doubt if Warburton will change the system but our biggest problem is getting people in the box and if Miller or Garner drop deep then there is totally nobody in the box, O'Halloran or McKay can put in world class crosses but if there is no one there to get on the end of them then it is just a wasted ball. What happened to that forward pressure it has all but disappeared. Warburton should let them watch a Liverpool game to see how to do it properly.
  14. To be honest I am now wanting TAV back at RB. I was certainly not that impressed with Hodson over the last 2 games. I also don't really understand our top scorer being benched or played out on the wing when we are desperate for goals. Everyone is saying Waghorn is off form but he has hardly played in his proffered position. Halliday is also a bit off form but I really don't see who can replace him unless Crooks proves to be a diamond. No sign of that so far. Holt and Windass with Haliiday in midfield looks a bit lightweight and Harreeee looks far more dangerous than both when on form and certainly has more dig. Forrester would be one of the first names on my team sheet. Kiernan has improved so it will be interesting to see who drops out if Wilson returns.
  15. Possibly but as long as we stay in the race then I think he will get the season. Rangers don't sack managers easily.
  16. As you say without the facts we cannot judge what is happening but Rangers certainly ain't looking pretty in the whole affair at this moment.
  17. That takes the biscuit. Some say Warburton is not worth the dough.
  18. Personally I doubt it although King made it clear that European football was one of his targets for the season. I think most supporters will back him until the end of the season.
  19. Yes but you can't suspend people for six weeks telling him he will return to training after a week and then 6 weeks later decide you want to sack him. This is a PR disaster for Rangers and could even effect other players thinking of signing for us.
  20. Oh crumbs! He has to get it right though as that is the way he earns his bread. If he doesn't he'll get toasted.
  21. As I said he looked great when playing with de Boer and co but it all went to his head and he thought he was Roy of the Rovers. He may of had pass marks first time around but he should never have been brought back. He was more obstructive than constructive. Then we had the Le Guen incident where Le Guen should have sent him packing. From what I hear from Holland the very same is happening to F. de Boer at Inter. He was brought in to change the football style but because Inter has a back bone of old school players they are rebelling against his training methods putting de Boer's job on the line.
  22. Seemed a good idea at the time? I agree though he should be given a chance.
  23. Even Rolls Royce made some crappy Monday morning cars that looked great at first. Nobody was just never allowed to admit it.
  24. He has been netted first most of the season:D
