  1. Possibly but as long as we stay in the race then I think he will get the season. Rangers don't sack managers easily.
  2. As you say without the facts we cannot judge what is happening but Rangers certainly ain't looking pretty in the whole affair at this moment.
  3. That takes the biscuit. Some say Warburton is not worth the dough.
  4. Personally I doubt it although King made it clear that European football was one of his targets for the season. I think most supporters will back him until the end of the season.
  5. Yes but you can't suspend people for six weeks telling him he will return to training after a week and then 6 weeks later decide you want to sack him. This is a PR disaster for Rangers and could even effect other players thinking of signing for us.
  6. Oh crumbs! He has to get it right though as that is the way he earns his bread. If he doesn't he'll get toasted.
  7. As I said he looked great when playing with de Boer and co but it all went to his head and he thought he was Roy of the Rovers. He may of had pass marks first time around but he should never have been brought back. He was more obstructive than constructive. Then we had the Le Guen incident where Le Guen should have sent him packing. From what I hear from Holland the very same is happening to F. de Boer at Inter. He was brought in to change the football style but because Inter has a back bone of old school players they are rebelling against his training methods putting de Boer's job on the line.
  8. Seemed a good idea at the time? I agree though he should be given a chance.
  9. Even Rolls Royce made some crappy Monday morning cars that looked great at first. Nobody was just never allowed to admit it.
  10. He has been netted first most of the season:D
  11. Opinions seem to differ on that. I guess you never saw the older generation players then. Sorry I just saw you are 30 and that answers a lot. He was jut playing when you were into boyhood hero's.
  12. Maybe until he thought he was god after that he was mediocre to say the least. He had a few good seasons with world class players around him but when they left he thought he could play 11 positions alone.
  13. I will certainly watch it. I never talked to the wife for the last 20 years so why should I change now.
  14. Great mate, you still have plenty of time. Even Thursday evening or Friday morning will be great if you need the time and it lets us digest the St Johnstone game on Thursday.
  15. :brick::crash::crazy:
  16. Well to be honest I think Hill has more chance of hitting 8 than Garner has of scoring at all.
  17. I must admit I watched the Liverpool -Spurs second half (FH highlights) and the ref gave a penalty that wasn't and never gave a penalty that was as clear cut as you can get so not only Scots refs balls it up.
  18. I will be honest I don't really understand how Willie Collum still has his Licence. He must be the worst referee I have ever seen. I saw him in a game Aberdeen played last season and he was diabolical. I think he even had a 4 match suspension after it.
  19. Even if Hearts beat Kilmarnock we will still be level with the sheep. I guess you mean second equal but I would say 4th as I can't see Hearts losing and the big shock is we have a goal difference of 0 (yes big zero) and Aberdeen +8 so we will still be 4th. I would say 8 goals is a virtual point as it is not likely we could clear that in 1 game. If Hearts do lose then yes we will go 3rd with the same points as the sheep. Hearts have a GD of 9 so a draw would put us all equal on points with our GD well behind. That is if we win of course and I am afraid that is not a certainty.
  20. Totally agree Craig and I was also pushing the Tav to play midfield. I am not so sure that failed as that side we were pretty strong there and snuffed out tierney and Sinclair. The whole problem was we kept giving the ball away which made the defence start going deep which meant the midfield had to follow. Celtic pushed up and again and again we gave the ball away cheaply. Another thing that happened was we kept trying to play small triangles. When Celtic closed down we had the chance to switch the play to the opposite wing but almost every time Haliday or whoever turned back into the busy area and tried the same triangle and we could say goodbye to the ball. We just seemed to lack any confidence and started to just pass the ball anywhere.
  21. It could of course be 2 pig-headed people. Slowly I am getting the idea that Warburton's not the easiest person in the world to get along with. Remember he also had trouble at his old club. That may mean nothing but it could also show a bit of his underlying character.
  22. Rumours on FF that Harry is heading home injured seemingly based on an Instagram post which was later taken down. One poster said he seen him at the hospital this morning. Possibly 1+1 is 3 . Do any of our in the know guy's know if this is true.
  23. Maybe it is just me but I thought Hill earned his wages on Sunday and indeed a few games before that. Kranjcar? Was just coming on to form. Surely we can't blame anyone for a player getting injured. Barton I will give you but Senderos has only played a few games so we have no idea how that will pan out. It is too early to say they were a waste of money.
  24. I think the jury is still out on that one but it is certainly not bringing in a yield just yet. As has been said we have only played 1\4 of the season. It does look like Garner was a panic buy though.
