The Family McFail went to the Vatican to see the pope. They all got dressed up putting on their Green and Grey sellick tops. Once they reached St Peter's square, wee Liam pushed his way down to the front to try and get the pope's attention. He felt having his new Sellick shirt on the pope must notice him as he stood out amongst the rest. As the pope-mobile passed Liam jumped and shouted as high and as hard he could but the pope just ignored him and drove on. Then a few yards further the pope=mobile stopped and a new feeling of joy engulfed Liam. The pope must have seen him after all. The pope got out the mobile but to Liam's dismay the pope approached a small boy wearing a Rangers top. The pope knelt down putting his arm round the boy and talked to him for a few minutes. It was now a feeling of rejection and Jealousy that Liam felt as he went back to his family. The pope talking to a boy in a Rangers shirt was unthinkable to Liam. Determined to meet the pope the next day Liam toured all the sports shops in Rome until he found a Rangers shirt. Then full of new determination the family returned to St Peters Square. Again Liam pushed his way down to the front wearing a brand new Rangers shirt this time. As the pope-mobile approached, again Liam jumped and shouted as hard and high as he could. To his delight the pope-mobile stopped and the pope walked up to Liam and put his arm around him. Liam could hardly contain his excitement. Then the pope whispered in his ear. "Listen son I thought I told you yesterday to fuck off and not come back. This is your last warning now Fuck-off.

I don't think I have ever been read set of rules at a job interview it is just taken for granted that everyone has basic good behaviour. Possibly if there are rules that are not everyday rules attached only to that company they will state them. I would even say the onus is on the SFA to send players when registering a copy of the rules.

As I said before I stood on the terraces in the late seventies on the cold winter nights with only 15.000 disgruntled fans watching crap football. Willie Waddell was taking a lot of stick for not investing in the team. I remember some fans shouting there was no point in building a new stadium if there were no fans left. I remember that sort of sentiment. -
brings tears to a glass eye.

I stopped supporting McLeish after the Craig Moore incident. Allowing a player to stick 2 fingers up at the club and then putting him straight in the team for a European game(IIRR) when he had just arrived back was for me the end of my support for him.

Former Rangers star Fernando Ricksen banned from flying due to health issues

I must admit I had never heard of it until Fernando got it but it does seem like a living hell. -

I find this a strange one. My Mum has just retuned home from holiday here and flew with KLM and they were as helpful as anything. My Mum could loosen a seatbelt but is totally reliant on a rollator\walker. When signing in they asked us if she could get to her seat herself or would they need to use special equipment to get her there. My mum could walk using the chairs to hold on too but I am sure there are many who can't. They may be able to loosen a seatbelt but are then helpless. As I say it is a strange one and not what I would have expected from KLM. I have no idea how impaired Ricksen is at this minute though as I suppose there must be a limit as to how impaired you can be.

Yes Willie waddel stated that the Ibrox disaster would never happen again and building the new stadium was more important than spending money on the team. If you also look at the Gersnet Archive and then our online museum link above you will find in information and a result data-base for that period that may help you. I personally immigrated in 1980 so can't really give much information on the 80's but the late 70's were dire with crowds down to about 15.000 for some games. The rise of Fergie's Aberdeen would also play a part in the early 80's don't forget they even won 2 European trophy's in that time beating Real Madrid and Barcelona I believe. -
It was the Paul Gascoigne goal that broke me. After that I spent an hour lying in my bed with tear filled eyes. That was heartbreaking. I hopefully will watch Scotland but to be honest I have no idea when we are playing yet.

You have to pay people for time worked. You cannot say I am not paying you the last wage. Even in instant dismissal you need to pay them until their last work day.

Ajax and Feynoord do not allow each others fans tickets so it can't be an UEFA rule.

Even in the late 70's begin 80's we had good players. The downgrade seemed to happen in the late 80's-90's

Lionbrand donation to Ryan Baird Having held discussions with Nith Valley Loyal RSC we have decided that all profits made from the sale of Lionbrand merchandise in the month of October will be donated to the family of Ryan Baird. Money can't replace a loved one or soften the blow of this sad time however it can relieve any financial burden that may present itself in this trying time for the family. Should anyone wish to contribute to this cause then tops can be bought from our website below. Thanks http://www.thelionbrand.co.uk

Just been on the Dutch sports news headlines about Barton. They must be hard up for headlines.

Agree it means you have big bills in the winter and small bills in the summer. I prefer to have them spread out over the full year. Although in Scotland there is only winter so it may be the same all year round. -
Surely that can only be on Barton's side. He has served a 4 week in total suspension so from Warburton's side it should be a clean sheet. It will probably all depend on how bad their relationship has been fractured. I worked under a boss for about 5 years with a relationship that we could have drunk each others blood and it is a nightmare. Any perks or cushy jobs go to others, you have no chance of promotion or a pay rise and every day communication was totally nil unless it was negative. If Warburton and Barton have a similar relationship then the football side for joey will deteriorate and he would be better away. Thankfully for the last 3 years I worked there I had the best boss I have ever worked under which made up for a lot.

Rangers supporters used to call Celtic supporters Huns. Did black people ever call white people niggers? Did Jewish people ever call anybody else Yids or Kikes? First let me say it is pathetic that anybody calls anyone else names so yes it is a depressing thread. I suppose it means what you mean by religious bigotry. We have always called each other names and until a few people like nil by mouth and other groups\ media complained nobody on both sides really gave a shit. I actually believe the whole thing was started by Celtic supporters trying one-upmanship thinking the ball would only land in our court. They were wrong to an extent in that they also lost some songs at least at home games. The whole thing has grown arms and legs due to politicians, so called Journalists and other people trying to score points. If we were allowed to call them fenians would we give a toss if they called us huns. I personally don't give a shit what Celtic supporters do or say as long as it is an even playing field and therein lies the problem.

Probably all in England.

Does the the truth hurt?

Taken over 248 people. What a joke of a study. Did they actually come out the pub to do it.
-
I totally agree with that and i don't understand why we let them turn it round. I think we are just too soft in that respect or maybe fenian was was preferred to hun. Helping the nazi's was far worse than having a Queen that had German ancestry centuries ago.

Quite right that is a couple of pints in Loudens when you are over there. A lot better than giving it to the PO.
