    No official crest?
  2. Agree but to be fair Annon are trying to make a game of this where against us it was damage limitation and a parked bus.
  3. 1-0 Annon after seconds.
  4. I thought at the time Gilks looked poor at the 3rd goal but I am not sure if the ball took a deflection or not.
  5. Rank is the operative word.
  6. I agree with you except lesser teams than Burnley have exposed our frailties in defence and that is what worries me.
  7. Just in case Warburton is watching Timo Letschert of Utrecht is being hailed as the new Jaap stam. I haven't seen much of him but all the pundits are tipping him to reach the top. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/timo-letschert/profil/spieler/231378 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gdoGjhWXzU
  8. The problem is our biggest and most obvious fault has not been sorted. Every set-piece and long punt is going to be a nightmare. If players in the top league get a yard clear of Wilson or Kiernan then they will be as well just waving goodbye because they won't get near them again. Kiernan's positional sense is shocking and I am talking about at basic level. I believe I heard Peter Lovenkrands say that it was Kiernan that put Hill in trouble at the 1st Burnley goal. I haven't seen it myself. I was amazed at Wilson at corners last season, sometimes there was more than the full goal between him and the player he was marking. How he managed that I have no idea. We definitely need a good solid defender. Is Marvin Andrews or preferably Jaap Stam still available.
  9. I remember a column somewhere that said Crooks failed because he was a poor centre back. it was only when Acc. Stan. put him into midfield that he started coming good.
  10. Agree 2nd would be acceptable(frig'n hard to accept but acceptable) but we should be able to get ourselves above Hearts and Aberdeen. The thing about this season is it is a jump into the dark but starting Saturday thin rays of light will start shining through on where we exactly are. Welcome back Gribz good to see you posting again.
  11. I think you are being a bit harsh on Stuart McCall. He had no time or chance to build a team he was just asked to polish a turd. McDowell just didn't want the job and that showed through in every game.
  12. I thought Griffiths and Roberts were multi-trillion players
  13. We have been poor at the back no matter who the opposition is. We really need a good CH
  14. The long ball is also a style of football and was effective for years. It depends on if your CF can make the ball stick and how intent your team is willing to race forward to support him.
  15. I saw a big difference in the defending of Tavernier. I think he has been training in not being so gung ho. The on field coaching of Barton will obviously help him no ends. I think with Rossiter, Barton and Forrester\Halliday in midfield there will be few occasions that other teams get at our defence unless it is a long ball.
  16. I think he is a very lucky man they didn't catch him joining in with the Billy Boys. Then he would have been in deep trouble.
  17. I would love to say you can't be serious but I know you are. I suppose as a Lawyer your professional duty comes before your feelings. Even the most horrible mass murderers get lawyers to defend them.
  18. Of course they can ban them. That is not what I am arguing about. Rangers can refuse anyone entry in to Ibrox. A security member could even stop Dave King from getting in if he thought he was not adhering to the rules of the club. An example would be being so drunk that 2 people had to hold the third person upright as in some pictures of ex- board members. A security person would be well within his right to refuse entry even to him.
  19. He is now accusing everybody of being drunk as well as being violent. The fact is many of the top hooligans these days don't drink alcohol as that will diminish their fighting ability. Many train at a sport school and are super fit. I agree these are probably not the hooligans that were on the park as the real hooligan fights are more organised.
  20. I think suspending people who are accused of a crime is a normal route to take. The question will come when they are found innocent. Will they be entitled to a refund for the games missed.
  21. They have taken the step now before the season ticket is even active. Administration costs at the most. There is no way Rangers can be seen to be punishing you with a fine as that is what it would potentially be. If you broke season ticket rules then it was last season's. I am not a legal expert but I do know I would fight that all the way.
  22. I think the only possible changes from your team is Hill in for Wilson or Kiernan. Not likely but possibly Rossiter in for Halliday to indeed give the defence some extra stiffness while retaining or bettering ball retention. That is the only 2 changes I could possibly envisage.
  23. Yes they could have taken your season ticket away last season without refund as that is when the incident happened. Most of the names were known before season tickets went on sale so Rangers could have stopped them before accepting money this season. You would need to be a piss poor lawyer not to win that in the courts. What happens if some have not fully paid up yet. You are not getting a season ticket but you have to pay one. I just don't see any way Rangers can lawfully withold money for a product they are refusing to deliver. As I say if it was mid-season there may be a case but not 2 weeks before the season ticket actually becomes a product. I would certainly have them in court.
  24. I still think they have a piss poor manager. What has he ever done?
