QUOTE=chilledbear;373927]It's nothing new as you probably know. You have to wonder why someone would support a team, whose supporters embarrass them. And let a small minority rule who or not should support our team. Aye right that is a cracker. Good argument point.:disgusted:

It seems strange to me that we do not want Celtic singing politically based songs but it seems to be okay for us. Seems a bit hypocritical to me.

As soon as you say "Look at Celtic," your post falls flat on it's face for me. I support Rangers I do not give a fuck about Celtic. We are not Rangers the opposite pole to Celtic Football Club. We are Rangers Football Club. We stand on our own.

I have to agree with Edge, what the hell has the referendum got to do with supporting Rangers. If that is the best songs they can come up with then let them sit outside Holyrood instead of Ibrox.
  5. It is obviously dictionary correct depending on how you see it but how many of us would have used it in the context that it was used. I stand corrected that it is wrong though. I did say that DB's English may be better than mine.
  6. I hate to pull you up on your English mate as it is probably better than mine, but they are not beyond the Clyde just on the other bank and a fair distance to the east. Sorry. To be honest I wish they were under the Clyde and I don't mean in the tunnel.
  7. The site is by a Rangers hating disbarred lawyer I believe. He may have some good points but will always be anti-Rangers.
  8. I am going to Dortmund v Schalke on Saturday. For anyone who doesn't know, that is the Celtic v Rangers of Germany, as they hate each other. It is a long tiring day though with a long bus ride and a lot of beer on the bus. As I said in another thread if you want to walk to the front of the bus you have to walk over beer crates. I will admit though as for atmosphere on the bus amongst the Dortmund fans it is like a graveyard. I try to get them going but nobody knows the sash.
  9. Seems like another tim website,. That does not say it isn't true though.
  10. Stamford(sp) bridge.
  11. I don't mean anything with this question I am just interested to know, but is Imran Ahmad the first coloured person to have an official position at Ibrox?
  12. http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/2421-a-fantastic-mementoA Fantastic Memento A UNIQUE memento presented to the club recently has taken pride of place in the Trophy Room. Rangers were given a specially-commissioned plate by Forres Mechanics to mark the Scottish Cup tie between the sides at Mosset Park last month. The game was the first competitive meeting between the sides, although they had played once before in a friendly back in 1908. Gers, of course, won the tie 1-0 on September 29 thanks to Kal Naismithâ??s first senior goal before half-time. Before kick-off, the two sides exchanged gifts and the Light Blues received a fantastic plate from their opponents. It depicts 22 sheep in Forres and Rangers strips playing each other at football with the Moray townâ??s backdrop, including the iconic Nelson Tower, in the background. The rectangular item is now on show within the stadium and you can see it if you book a place on an Ibrox tour by calling 0871 702 1972. Prices are £8 for adults, £5.50 and just £24.50 for a family of four. Tours run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday subject to matchdays and other bookings. Club legend Sandy Jardine is responsible for placing the commemorative plate in the Trophy Room. He said: â??Itâ??s the very first time weâ??ve ever played Forres competitively and as a club, we like to give any new opponents we face a gift. â??We have done that with a couple of teams this season but I have to say the gift we got from Forres was one of the most unusual ones we have received. â??In football terms, it is a really tasteful piece of memorabilia and weâ??ve put it into the Trophy Room for people to see. â??We have received so many great gifts over the years and we have some wonderful ones from some of the best teams in the world such as Manchester United and Barcelona. â??Valencia, for instance, have given us beautiful porcelain figures as well and we have been very fortunate. â??The piece from Forres was very special too and I think itâ??s one of the best gifts we have even had. â??Iâ??ve no doubt when people come along to Ibrox to do a stadium tour, it will be a talking point and something theyâ??ll look at with a smile.â?
  13. That doesn't mean he knows anything.
  14. Any publicity promoting cancer awareness can only be good.
  15. I doubt if both have earth shaking info to be honest.
  16. It suits them. We are doing enough to make ourselves a laughing stock.
  17. Where is this going guy's what a stupid debate. Who knows more BD or Cameron. That sounds like a schoolboy debate. My mate knows more than your mate. Yes he does! No he doesn't!
  18. Pink to make the boys wink.
  19. They used to say a camera never lies. Nothing could be further from the truth these days.
  20. The club prints tickets and people give money to acquire one,I think.
  21. Listen guy's we do not want anyone wishing any ex-player injuries on the forum. A case of thinking it, but keeping it off the Forum. Thanks!
  22. Just watched the second half of Portugal v NI and on that performance I base my statement that it is time for Levein, Regan, Mark Wotte to leave their positions. NI can put more than 5 passes together against a mediocre International team. We can't. NI constantly threw players forward when they had the ball. We didn't. NI pressed their opponents. We didn't. Time for a clearout.
  23. I would like to hear that Alex Thomson isn't getting paid for his bigoted drivel.
  24. I would imagine it is all part of the legal battle of what the club owns and what the financial company owns. If I am going to be 100% honest then if we expect money for Naismith then we really need to pay the owed money for Jelavic. I would say we are morally obliged to pay that.
  25. I will take it over and promise we will never play in a 4-6-0. I could also say 4-5-1 but if you play 4-3-3 and get forced back it does become a 4-5-1
