  1. Frankie the Fans can't stop fighting amongst ourselves. Who does he get on board?. If Park has not got the clout to buy the club without stirring up trouble in the background then i don't see him being our great saviour. I can tell you what my plans are to save Rangers but i will never be in a position to put them to use. Will he? Stirring up dust with a support that has a bigger split than the Gobi desert is not going to make any impact with David Murray or LLoyds or whoever the owner is.
  2. I think he needs to be closer to making a deal before he can say anything. Telling us all what he is going to do before he is in a position to do it would make him look stupid in my eyes.
  3. Disagree unless he has bought the club or asking the supporters to back him, then he is under no obligation to answer to anyone.
  4. Kenny Dalglish and Danny McGrain were Rangers rejects and the tims worship them.
  5. I just don't understand why this statement wasn't made at the very beginning. Why did it have to come to protests to come out with this information that would have saved a lot of suspicion?
  6. Surely more evidence that Lloyd's are in charge. I don't really think it is a bad thing as we should be operating within our means. I just hope the same standards are put across the whole of Europe.
  7. Am i missing something. LLoyds had nothing to do with the running of the club:confused:
  8. I think Celtic could beat us in a one of game at Hampden as i think they would be more fired up. So i would make them favourite for the cup. Lets not forget that the league still has to be won, there is still a long way to go. Walker and Hartson are just playing mind games saying it is over.
  9. I am no expert by far but is there not a register of companies up for sale linked to the stock market? Sorry question with a question is no help,i know David Murray has stated a few times in the press that the club is up for sale and that the price is not the important thing, but the development of RFC is paramount. It is supposed to be one of Donald Muirs jobs to find a buyer if you believe what you read. I know not always wise.
  10. I went on to RM to have a follow up to what is on here and to be honest i am most disappointed at how big the split is in the rangers support. I have not been on FF to see their side of the story but who says what is not that important. The fact is our support could not pull together to get Drumchapel Amateurs out of trouble let alone Rangers. God help us if Murray, Muir,or whoever else is responsible pulls the plug on the club. Our Chairman was right we don't need to look at the fans to save the club
  11. Sorry mate i was not barking at you and i had to press enter and run out the door for work. I was 2mins too late as it was. Therefore this late answer. I don't really have another team other than Rangers'to be honest. Rangers fill up all my heart I first went to see PSV against Wolves when i came to the Netherlands so between the big three i am slightly in favour of PSV. Living only a few miles from FC Twente i like to see them doing well. I work in Almelo and my boss is a sponsor of Heracles so i like to see them doing well. To go back to Ajax they have slipped down the list when it comes to Youth football. I believe they were down in ninth place in an article i was reading about 8 months ago. Johan Cruijff was asked to revamp the whole youth system two years ago. Cruiff wanted full control of all youth decisions but van Marco van Basten the then boss, told Cruiff that he had the final say on all football decisions at the club. Cruiff resigned and returned to Barcelona where he lives. I believe they are now busy with an action plan to revamp the whole system again as they cannot afford to pay to keep bringing in new players.
  12. Ron Jans has kept Groningen on a low budget fighting in the sub-top almost every year since he arrived. Verbeek was a fantastic manager with Herenveen leading them into Europe almost every season. He took over at Feynoord last season and tried to change the whole culture of the club as PLG did at Ibrox.(He was hand picked to do that by the FD board who wanted change) While the fans loved what he was trying to do all the old warhorses as Makay van Bronkhorst, Landzaat and others formed a dressing room revolt and virtually stopped performing. As Feynoord have no money to bring in new players the board backed the players and Verbeek resigned. Mario Been has come in this season and the first thing he did was drop all the old warhorses except Gio. Been has the advantage that he is a Feynoord man and loved by all at Feynoord. Verbeek has taken the club with the lowest budgets Heracles to 5 place this year their highest ranking ever. I am fed up with this myth that Ajax are the great leaders in Scouting. Ajax are the biggest example of mismanagement probably anywhere outwith the EPL. With all their manager changes of the last few years Ajax have every week 72 top paid players either in the pool or sitting in the stand. And yes i mean 72 TOP PAID players. I think if you look at the Ajax top team over the last few years, Rangers far outshine Ajax in Youth coming through the ranks. Ajax youth system is a Myth, a thing lost in the seventies or eighties.
  13. As one of Walter Smith's biggest critics i am going to shock everyone and say i don't think it would be good to have a massive shake up unless the new owner has millions to spend. Walter has actually pleasantly surprised me with the shape of the team since December. If we are going to go for a new manager which i think we will as Walter will chuck it whatever happens imo, I would not surprisingly go Dutch. Fred Rutten(PSV) Gertjan Verbeek(Heracles) Ron Jans(Groningen) would be my best picks. Steve Mclaren would have been also a favourite but i am getting a bit pissed off with his touchline antics. Jimmy Calderwood would be my Scottish choice as i feel he did a good job in Holland and at Aberdeen and seems to have revamped Killie.
  14. Are you advocating that people take time away from the Gersnet to read books Frankie. Wash your mouth out with soap. People should be writing more articles for the Gersnet;)
  15. I don't know why they think there is a 23% turn in turnover. Everyone is turning them over.
  16. I went for Boogie as well. His sliding tackle to block a shot from Zemmama i think, was class
  17. Some very disturbed people on their sites.
  18. Around 20-25 yards he scores a few, from 30-35 yards they are lucky if they stay in the ground.
  19. One banner was shown on sky just before the kick-off. I couldn't quite catch what was on it as i was only half watching. It looked to me to between two sticks which made me wonder how they got it into the ground.
  20. The Mowbray must go has more than 70 pages on the kerrydale site. I don't normally look at tim sites but sadism is okay now and again.
  21. Just one thing to add about McCulloch. He needs to stop trying Roy of the Rovers shots from 35 yards. The poor guy's at the back of the Broomloan and Govan stands were shiting themselves.
  22. I really think Beano's chance per goal ratio is absolute crap and has been all his career. If he had taken one third of the chances he gets he would be way up in the rafters of top scorers. His scoring ratio is more like the petrol usage of a Daihatsu Charade rather than a rolls Royce.
  23. Five life bans. Are you a cat?
  24. You said it i didn't. If the hat fits put it on. No it was just a humorous remark to the fact you asked if it was okay to post on here. Half the moderating team answered your question one after another. Only funny to me,I know.
  25. You only need one more vote Mainflyer.
