    Playing him in a central role might make him play better. I feel he is lost out on the right. Davis beats players by his runs and turns. Sticking him out on the wing means he can only run and turn in one direction which is like a shackle to him imo.

    Hopefully getting an international call up will spur Pedro Mendes on to better club form. He has been the most disappointing player for me up until now. He can do better we all know that, Walter and Ally have to dig it out of him.

    I just wonder if a situation as above would split the Rangers support with the Euro team actually feeling less of a Rangers team. People might not associate with the Euro team as with the Scottish team. I am talking long term of course.

    Stopping Speirs getting into Ibrox won't make him stop printing his tripe. I agree that turning him into a martyr could even be the worse option. I would say E-mails of complaint to his editor and not buying his paper would be better options.

    Taken from the Beveren website. Without translating word for word it says the story is bullshit. The only contact with Rangers was that an agent who had contact with Rangers offered two players to have a trial at Beveren. Beveren will only enter such an agreement if it would vastly improve the Beveren team. What has been suggested in the media is totally untrue and there has been no contact between the two clubs.

    I worry about Rothen's defensive qualities to be honest. He is not one to track back with his opposite number. I feel Papac has been affected by this as he has to make a decision to which player to go to. Hopefully Walter can improve this in training.

    The first one on Maloney was not a hard decision for a Ref with guts. I was even shouting at Weir for giving away a penalty before i saw any replay. I was (pleasantly)shocked the ref didn't give it, but If it had happened to a Rangers player i would have been fuming. I was boiling when the linesman never flagged for the shirt pull on Lafferty. He was next to them if he didn't see it he should not be officiating. What are these guy's there for if they are not going to flag for such things.

    50\50 penalty claims. If we take the blue glasses off then they were stone wallers. The first one on Maloney was just as bad as as Naighsmith against Seville and we all saw that as a penalty. Weir may have played a bit better in the second half but we could have been behind by his far too late tackles. The only reason he played better in the second half was because he refused to come out of our penalty area which meant we got boxed in. Sorry but we need a CH who can push the troops up the pitch with the speed to defend the room behind the defence.

    Yes i was shouting my head off. I have to admit though Celtic had three stonewall penalties today where one was given. it must be time to set Davy Weir to grass he is now a liability.

    The UEFA don't want a fair game they want the rich clubs getting richer and the poor clubs poorer. why do you think they are fighting against the use of video evidence? Because it will take away their ability to manipulate games.

    We were possibly beaten by the over all better team though only after an hour and dubious ref decisions. The fact that Spanish and English teams get a helping hand has just been further cemented in my opinion. Even if Naismith did stumble before the tackle(I don't know if he did) then it was still no guarantee he would have gone down. The tackle from the defender guaranteed that he did go down. The ref couldn't have had a more clear view. If he won't make important decisions he shouldn't be a referee.

    Agree a lot of positives to take from that. Naismith had a great game and should have had a penalty. Who would take our penalties anyway if Boyd and Nacho are not on the park?
