  1. Sorry i can't see how these guy's are there on merit when Hemdani, Broadfoot, Gow and Adam are sitting in the stand, I do believe they are a talent but they should not be on the bench just yet.
  2. The 34 year old Romanian striker of Politechnica Timisoara has been banned for 22 games after he lost control. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZ62kiYsZiI&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fvoetbal%2Eblog%2Enl%2Ffilmpjes%2F2007%2F09%2F02%2Froemeen%2Dganea%2D22%2Dwedstrijden%2Dgeschorst%2Dfilmpje
  3. The two young boy's are only on the bench because of the 3 u21 players rule and not on merit at the moment. I don't see a great change of the squad over 3years but after 5 all the new young players will be the main men.
  4. Glad you enjoyed it mate. What happened to the Gersnet meet up????
  5. What is it they say, the sign of champions is winning while playing bad.
  6. Sorry for the doubt guys but i really didn't expect that anymore. I stand corrected
  7. Yep i doubt it, i smell a wind up. I can't dee where he will fit in mow.
  8. I think everyone wants Hemdani to stay and i wasn't getting at you Ian. I can just understand that if he thinks he is not going to be playing he will want to leave. He is just too good a player to be sitting in row Q34. The transfer window and the 3 u21 player rule needs to be looked at again in my eyes.
  9. Thought i would put this on for the latest news and so there are not 600 different threads on the same subject.
  10. All paper talk until now we can hang any guilty parties tomorrow at 12pm;)
  11. I reckon the Tims will be still paying the half of his wages. Not really the scenario they were looking for. What a waste of money he was for them, transfer plus wages.
  12. Personally i think that he thinks he should be playing the role fergie is playing. I think that he thinks he should be the play maker. Now Thomson has moved in he finds himself typecast in a defensive role in front of the back four which Rangers do not need week in week out. I think he wants more than that. He wants to run the show. He cannot do that at Ibrox.
  13. I agree Ian but the transfer window also rushes clubs into making decisions they might not make given more time. If Hemdani could get transferred at anytime until April i do not think he would want away now.
  14. Unfortunately the stupid transfer window only allows you to leave at certain points. That brings in snap decisions like this. Playing 6 games in 5 months is not that exciting for a prof footballer and yes i can understand he wants away. The problem is not Hemdani it is the stupid transfer rules.
  15. I can see us getting through in this group to be honest. Lyon and Stuttgart are not the teams they were and have both lost key players. Draws out(preferably score draws) and home wins will do me.
  16. Sometimes the police act too quick and too heavy handed as in Barcelona when Rangers won the cup winners cup. From your report it would seem the serbian Police got it right. And a mostly friendly people helps as well of course.
  17. Sitting in the stand every Saturday!!!! I can't blame him really.
  18. I think he will bring in some borderline players with Nacho a cert for me.
  19. Saturday, 1 September 2007 Dundee United v Falkirk-----------15:00 Hibernian v Inverness CT----------15:00 Kilmarnock v Aberdeen------------15:00 Rangers v Gretna----------------15:00 Sunday, 2 September 2007 St Mirren v Celtic-----------------14:00 Monday, 3 September 2007 Motherwell v Hearts--------------19:45 John Hughs was furious with his team last week after their shock loss to St Mirren. After losing 12 goals in three games and losing to one of the teams they would hope for points from, the question is, will Hughs adapt a more defensive formation for the Bairns visit to Tannadice. Dundee Utd had defender Lee Wilkie as an Emergency striker last week and may stick with him after he set up two goals, getting pulled down in the box to give the Arabs a penalty. I cant see past Dundee Utd for this one. Craig Brewster scored twice against Hibs last week and will be looking to do the same for Caley this week. If Ma-Kalamat(b)ay plays like he did last week then he may get his chance. John Collins was quick to defend his keeper last week, pointing out his keeper has had seven clean sheets from eight games and that his keeper will have learned from his mistakes. Ill bet he needed another clean sheet on Sunday morning thinking about the game. I dont see Inverness getting much of a chance against a Hibs team who can be awesome when firing on all cylinders. Jim Jefferies will be hoping his team can bounce back from their defeat against Rangers and according to Jim his wife will be as well, as he admitted he is a grump on a Saturday night if they lose. The million dollar question is, who will Stevie Naismith be playing for on Saturday? Kilmarnock or Rangers. Aberdeen were rocked after taking a two goal lead at Easter Road only to get a 3-3 draw. SUPER SUB Dean Shiels scored the equalizer in a six goal thriller. This has a draw written all over it. Rangers should get over their tired legs by Saturday and will be looking to keep the momentum of their great start to the season going against a lowly Gretna. The Black and Whites have stiffened up of late but Rangers should have the hammer to bend them over the anvil. I expect Walter Smith to rest some players for this one with the likes of Nacho getting a game. Davie Irons will have to watch from the Stand, after he kicked a bag of balls in anger last week, complaining about the sending off of Craig Barr, and getting a red card himself. Rangers Win. Celtic travel to Love Street which may just be the surprise banana skin we wouldnt have dreamed of a few weeks ago. St Mirren lost doggedly against Motherwell and Rangers, but have bounced back to secure six points from their last two games. With Celtic having a tough 120 minutes in their legs from yesterday, who knows maybe a gutsy performance from the Saints can earn them a draw. Probably only dreaming. I have to go for a Celtic win but not an easy one. Hearts who have become the joke team of Scotland with horrific displays of late will have to improve 100% if they want to get anything from High flying Motherwell on Monday. They look more like heading for the drop rather than the top as Vladimir Romanov predicted when he took over at Tynecastle. The steel men are showing fine form and only daylight robbery against Kilmarnock, stand between them and an equal top spot with Rangers. With all the Tynecastle dressing room baggage, and low confidence after their 5-0 drubbing at Parkhead, I can only see one winner in this one. Motherwell win.
  20. Thanks Frankie! Joined the club.

    Champions League

I don't know why they don't give us the cup already.
  22. Celtic were actually, totally on top of the eleven men with Nakamura missing three great chances. It was only when Spartak had ten men they went to a more defensive mode and gained more control. The Spartak wingers were in fact brilliant in the first half but never got a look-in in the second half.

    our team

The First old firm match will be our first check-point how far we have come. Yes we are beating the small clubs again and that is great but the proof of the pudding will be against Celtic.
