  1. Great game to watch. End to end from start to finish. To be honest i think a penalty shoot out was the right result. Celtic took the best penalties and deserved to win the shoot-out.
  2. As far as i can remember it was Celtic that were the huns in the 60's-70's. I believe that was because the Irish helped germany in the war.
  3. I only heard the radio commentary so i am not in a position to be certain but McGregor sounded a good shout for me. Hemdani Darchville and Cueller also in the race.

    Champions League

I hope so as i would hate to see him go.
  5. According to Clyde there are a huge number of Red Star fans not wanting to leave the park. The Rangers fans are surrounded by riot police. I hope this ends up peacefully.

News is Hemdani is off within 24 hours. I hope we have a replacement centre mid lined up. Seemingly he was excellent tonight again. We will miss him dearly.
  7. Ended 0-0. What a nail-biting listen. Well done the Gers. Thanks to who ever gave me the radio link it worked a treat.

    Taxi!!!!!

Hot news at the moment is Fulham and Derby are looking for a striker who scores goals. Funny thing is they are willing to pay 3mill for Kenny Miller. Celtic are hoping to offload a striker who couldnt score. They are willing to accept 3 million. This makes me think of the old car auctions, you think you got a Rolls Royce and it turns out to be a banger. Gordon Strachan is hoping that magic Zurawski will perform one more piece of magic. Make himself, Thomas Graveson and Bobo Balde disappear. Hearts coach Stevie Frail wants his team to go out and have a pint together to get them to play better. The way they have been playing looks like they have had too many pints together. He stated we have to play with pride. They look more like a herd of Lithuanian goats, rather than a pride of lions. Hearts have lined up a new sponsor - Tampax. Mad Vlad thought it was an appropriate change as the club is going through a very bad period. Walter and Ally promised us last year Sebo would come good. seems they were wrong but they found a goal scoring Cousin. Dragan Stojkovic the Red star president said his team are going to Trash Rangers. Walter Smith said, it was rubbish. Hibs who seem to have difficulty in getting a keeper to catch a ball, brought in Goalkeeper Ma-Kalambay. After he blundered two goals on Saturday, John Collins was reputed to say he would have been better with Ma-broon. Gretna manager Davie Irons called for his team to show a lot more balls. Not likely if hes going to have a kick at them. Craig Brewster had a two goal, scoring swansong at Easter road before leaving Abedeen to take over at Inverness. He pleaded with his new team to start speeding on their way home from training. They need all the three points they can get. TAXI!!!!!!!!
  9. A horrible thing to happen. I wish the guy all the best. Unfortunately i had the horrible experience of a seventeen year old boy die at my feet during a football match. I was playing sweeper and he was CH and at a corner for us i asked him to move up to about 30 yards from the goal to maybe give him a chance to shoot if the ball was headed out. He turned to me and tried to say something and then collapsed. We tried to resuscitate him for about 30 mins until an ambulance crew took over but to no avail. We later learned the main artery to his heart had blown up like a balloon and burst and no medical help could have saved him in time. A memory that will live with me for ever.
  10. Osasuna have bought midfielder Jaroslav Plasil. Hopefully that is their interest in Hemdani finished.
  11. All these with Firhill, Hamilton,Fir park, cappielow, Dumbarton.Muirton Park. A few amateur grounds in Holland and Germany. Bochum for the CSKA Moscow game in 1992-93. I have never been to a game in Dundee! Don't know why.
  12. I like the strip but getting a ball stuck on my head is taking things a bit far.
  13. Agreed, the camaraderie seems to be all over the whole team. They seem to be willing to fight for each other which was missing last year.
  14. Thanks for that Buba. Quality mate.
  15. Just watched it again and it would be awesome to get the whole of Ibrox buzzing like that. That would overshadow walk-on by a country mile.
  16. Derek Johnstone is maybe a crap journalist but he was a great football player. Unfortunately he liked his vodka too much to have been world class. He is one of the few players who could play Centre-half as well as striker. Derek was a natural strong guy when he was sixteen. Seedorf is maybe a far more technical player but i would question if his build as a sixteen year old was natural. No drug tests were done in these days.
  17. I seen him when he came on in Germany and he did impress me for the 15mins he was on. I don't think we should rush him too much though, but Derek Johnstone and Clarence Seedorf are examples of young players who did make it in the first team so early.
  18. The top article where it said he went for free was from the official site. Surely that will be accurate?
  19. Sorry to hear that but i thought it would happen. Hemdani is in my mind the most technical player we have, and is great at breaking up opposition attacks with his reading of the game. He will be a miss imo.
  20. I don't know if it will catch on but it is brilliant. A bit difficult for an all seater stadium i would imagine.
  21. Since you go for Boyd I will go for Cousin.
  22. I found him too static. I love to see the backs playing as a second winger as Hutton and Smith do. Best move for all but disappointed he did not bring in a fee.
  23. Other clubs must laugh at us. We pay over the top for mediocre players and then let them go for free. At least his wages will be freed up.
  24. By Lindsay Herron IAN MURRAY has signed a contract with the Championship side Norwich City after agreeing a deal this afternoon. Rangers agreed tIan Murrayo let the versatile former Hibs captain go as he had found himself on the periphery of Walter Smith's squad. The Light Blues had initially looked for a transfer fee for Murray, who joined Rangers from Easter Road in the summer of 2005, but decided to let him move for free. Chief Exective Martin Bain said at today's Annual General Meeting: "We took a decision based on the players' wishes, the manager's wishes and where he sits on our books. Ian was not going to feature so we are saving money on the wage bill." Murray made 56 starts for Rangers in all competitions over the past two seasons but with the arrival of Carlos Cuellar, Kirk Broadfoot and Steven Whittaker he has been pushed down the pecking order. The deal with the Canaries has yet to be completed but manager Peter Grant would like to get it done today so that Murray can play in Saturday's game at Hull. Grant said today: "I watched him a lot when he was at Hibs as a boy and he was captain very, very young. "He has all the attributes you look for in a player. A top class professional, left sided and can play left-back, left midfield, central midfield and centre back - and he can do them all well." Sorry if this has already been posted but i couldn't see it anywhere.
  25. I can't seem to edit so will someone who can change the following sentence. Hearts have had a poor start to the season, with only draws against lowly Gretna and Aberdeen getting them off the mark. The first version was incorrect.
