  1. You're gonna do that Jim White outta a job at this rate As for the Portmouth situation, it isn't feasible because then it means other clubs buying players outwith the window.
  2. Poor old Pedro. His Celtic duvet must be full of stains from all the tears he sheds.
  3. Didn't I say this at the start? Just call me Dr Danny, Rangers' Accountant.
  4. I believe we'll win the treble mainly because it would be embarrassing for Scottish football if this Celtic wins anything.
  5. I feel the love in this room.
  6. I'm amazed that's the real title I too thought it was a photochop. Nacho is truly the the bear timmy loves to hate the most - and I have to say he's got a bit of the Lennons about him in that he can wind up his opponents so brilliantly.
  7. A very draining night of football that one. To be in cruise control, then totally lose it, then come raging back... Not a good night for the old ticker but at least I didn't throw my remote control at the LCD...
  8. We got Boumsong on a free pre contract and made 8M from it. We raised Barry through the ranks and sold him for 8M. Point being is it happens to everyone, not just us. And we benefit from it too. We can improve things if we want, but we'll always get burned and benefit in equal measure, just like everyone else.
  9. Looks like Becksy Boy will start against his former club. As a Milan fan I'm firmly on the home team's side. Has potential for a very good game.
  10. Once a party pooper...
  11. Bet there's a post on Kerrydale Street like this which substitutes Rangers and Ibrox with Celtic and Parkhead
  12. Who might that be haha. Nah, there's quite a few staff over there who have their hearts in the right places and have the best intentions for the place, but unfortunately none of them are administrators.
  13. It does go with the job
  14. He really must. He is an hilarity.
  15. This thread appears to back up something I've believed for a long time - all OF fans believe the 'establishment' and/or media is against their team. Timmy is convinced it's all a masonic conspiracy, such as the 'Daily Ranger', and we think it's the 'mhedia' such as the Evening Tims. I mean look at the posts from the tims - if they saw the stuff from us about conspiracies they'd think we were as looney as we think they are. Which I guess they do. I don't really buy into any of it.
  16. As well written as that article is, it's a symptom of football - it's a bit fickle. A week or so ago there wouldn't have been anything like this praise - but after one admittedly excellent display hopes are high for him again.
  17. Yeah, some of the staff.
  18. Ah, right, yeah with you there you totally. Anyone on here who lies will do so in real life. Though of course this is as much real life as anything else.
  19. Haha, I know you weren't being incendiary I was just hoping I didn't have to bloody register for one
  20. Well whether folk hold back in real life and online or whether they say what they feel doesn't really make a difference. If I could be so blunt as to say that on here I've supported Lafferty in ways perhaps some others haven't. 'in the real world' I'm not slagging him off saying he's been a waste of money. I rate Kenny Miller on here. In person I am not saying he's a rotten striker. My views are consistent as are everyone else's, but I accept the manner, delivery, conduct and demeanour of folk radically changes online - believe me, it's something I'm significantly interested in. But people don't like apples online and in the real world hate them. There has to be a fundamental tenet of consistency in opinion otherwise people are worthless and nothing any of them say has anything value as it will change from one day to the next. From one medium to the next.
  21. He's an ex player a lot of us still have interest in, surely? We all seem to know how Cuellar is doing, and how Hutton did at Spurs, so it stands to reason one or two of us might know how he's doing now?
  22. So you're saying the opinions on these forums are lies? That's all I am saying - you're right that you don't have to look someone in the eye, but that doesn't make you change your opinion of something. I've never known anyone who differed in person compared to online regarding their beliefs.
  23. I chose my words at the time very carefully. I didn't give up on him. Read back what I said - I pointed out fairly that his form was dire and he was seriously struggling - but I didn't call him a busted flush.
  24. See, RM and FF could learn a thing or two from this board. While you and I may have a different opinion and way of thinking, we both see the bigger picture regardless and want what's best for the club and the player (in this example). Too many agendas ruin this for my liking.
