Russia would tear us a new one.

Levein has made an outstanding start as Scotland manager - he's convinced Spain are the world champions. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/8502929.stm
-
Is it the reality? According to Walter Smith, our club is on the brink and will get worse. That sounds like scaremongering if I'm honest.
-
I don't know if there are any top seeds we could get anything from tbh. Croatia are a maybe. Whoever the top seed was, we'd struggle to get a point from them.
-
Knew Braffheid was their best signing. Really looks the part.
-
Badum t'ish. Did you see her vow of silence as spoken by Clifford? She got paid a lot of money by Terry to shut up.
-
Never heard that one!
-
Haha, no I was too busy copping off with Boruc's bird...
-
Not actually the hardest draw it seems on paper. If Levein turns out to be a decent manager the only 3 games we look unlikely to get anything from are both the Spain games and the Czech away match. We can take something from the rest. The Czech Republic are nowhere near the force they used to be, and I should know, given they're my second international team. The days of Poborsky, Koller and Nedved are gone and nowadays they're a fairly moderate national team. If Scotland utilise their resources properly, and get a bit of luck, we could possibly qualify.

I'm not doing anything

What the hell, here you're agreeing with me!? Make up your mind!
-
Worrying then that it isn't. Were you born yesterday? That's not meant as an insult, but you seem to be locked into some sort of utopia where bad people don't do bad things to good people when good people do silly things against bad people, intentionally or otherwise. You're literally saying that knowingly having an affair with a gangland mobster's woman shouldn't lead to repercussions, because said repercussions are illegal. I find that astonishingly naive. I'd be worried if you did. Is this the disclaimer which lets you get away with hypocrisy? For the record, I never said the firebomb on his car was acceptable, I said getting involved with a gangland mobster's woman was the stupidest thing you could do and anyone believing that said mobster would just let said individual away with it is really on their own planet. Of course, that all said, the Record's story might be a load of hokum...

So when people agree with me, which is quite often, are they not being 'typical' Rangers fans either? What exactly is 'most' or typical Rangers fans, because I'd really like to know.
-
When Artur Boruc hooked up with a Polish gangster's woman, I remember the outcry of 'does he have a deathwish' from forums. Now it's our own player and you think everything should be rosy? Are you being deliberately naive here and assuming because he's a Rangers player, even committing this sort of folly shouldn't see repercussions? And I mean factually, not morally.
-
Which part of 'knowingly' did you fail to grasp?
-
If he's been copping off with a gangster's bird, he's as big an idiot as Boruc and Terry. Sadly, if you do something like this, knowingly, you kinda deserve what you get.
-
You lot cursed us.
-
Scott 'Broonaldo' Broon. And no, I'm not joking. The biggest heidcase at Parkhead now captains the team.
-
The right decision I have to say - Capello showed some real balls to do this. And I'm not being sanctimonious here; if Terry had copped off with any old Jane Bloggs then got found out, then that would have been his problem and his alone, one he might have lost his marriage through. But it wouldn't have been an issue strictly relating to the England national team. But that it was Bridge's then girlfriend makes it a matter for England and Capello, and he's done the right thing demoting him. What was that feckin' idiot thinking. Word is Rio Ferdinand is the new captain.

That's what I felt he'd said on the radio but wasn't certain if memory served me correct.

More and more folk are hitting the nail on the head and this is one such post.

http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?t=16417 That thread is the first black and white sign of a protest, and do you see anyone mention Donald Muir? It's just a crude banner kicking at Lloyds in general. And that seems to me to be misguided. And Edgar himself didn't mention a protest as far as I recall, though anyone can correct me if he did. I just remember him saying that he accepted Lloyds wanting their money back and that was their prerogative, and their business. He just wanted Donald Muir to speak. Nothing about protesting against Lloyds. I think this whole thing will sink like the WDB 'campaign'.
-
Not a bad wee signing. A bit like UTD and Cardemarteri.
-
But what is the message? It's all very well everyone saying we don't like Lloyds running us, but the funny thing is they don't much like it either. We're protesting in a very vague manner - it's not precise. If the protest was 'We demand Donald Muir breaks his silence' then I would buy into that. But just saying 'nyah nyah Lloyds etc' is a little too hazy for my liking.
-
Ok, if you're protesting at the way the club is being run - that assumes you believe there's an alternative. The problem is that there isn't one. It's like saying 'I hate the way the club is being run and I demand it stops, although I admit there's absolutely no other way to run it given no one wants to buy us and SDM did a runner ages ago' - the protest needs to have a plan of action to be credible. I am not content with the way things are now, of course I am not - but complaining at Lloyds is like moaning at a nanny who's looking after kids while their parents are on holiday.
