  1. N'Guemo also had a decent game for them. As for POTY any one of McGregor, Bougherra, Davis, McCulloch and Boyd for us. Timmy really shouldn't have a single entrant.
  2. Ok, so exactly why did she get charged? Because she claimed AM had been assaulted when he hadn't? But it was he who made the allegation. This whole thing is very very messy - but thankfully doesn't appear to be affecting his form. On the pitch, I mean.
  3. As most folk have pointed out, we had a goal arguably wrongly disallowed plus we were denied a penalty. I wish Monkeyheid would shut up.
  4. Wasn't all them after the first half, but over the piece they were the better side. Only time I noticed him was when he got sandwiched. Scotland has a much better squad than we've given ourselves credit for - it was just the atrocious management of Burley that made us far less than the sum of our parts.
  5. Boyd has, amazingly, developed into a player who can actually handle playing up front alone. He's vastly improved his holding up stills, being especially good at playing back into defenders, winning balls, and sweeping out passes to the flanks. He never used to be any good at that. Agree to an extent that we were awful, mainly in the first half where we simply got outclassed. Second half we were much better though the win flattered us.
  6. Is there any way of removing the restriction on post length? Sometimes all you need to post is a single word and maybe an emote yet you're told the post is too short. Can that limitation be lifted?
  7. Haha, I like it
  8. To be fair his wording was very careful and deliberate - he said this incident took the 'mindless' rivalry between both sets of supporters to a new low. He managed to call timmy lowlife without actually using the direct words.
  9. That was a bit of a giggle
  10. Love the Barnes one
  11. What bothers me is Celtic act as if we're provoking them. How the hell can that be a case for any defence. 'please don't provoke us in case we show our true colours'? Their 'fans' are a real low scraping the barrel level of scum. I've seen amoebas with more class than they have.
  12. This really is a curious tale. Boyd is without a doubt the best predator in the SPL. He could do it in the EPL against plenty of decent teams, and his all round game has improved vastly this season. Instead of only being a penalty box striker, he's coming deeper, holding up the ball, using his strength to fend off defenders, and showing some creative class - his through ball for Miller's chance has barely been mentioned yet I felt it was as good as Buffel's for Lovenkrands V Inter in 2006. His value has increased massively and he's unquestionably one of our biggest assets - I for one sincerely hope we can hold onto him because he'll leave for free if we can't. However, despite the fact he has scored against the best the SPL offers - such as Hibs, Hearts, Motherwell, Utd...he really does seem to have a severe mental block against Celtic. Outwith the box he looks composed, solid, creative, and robust. Give him a chance in the box against them, however, and his legs turn to jelly, you can see him panicking, and he looks beyond desperate to score which seems to ruin any ounce of composure. He seems to lose his natural goalscoring instinct against them. Take our winner yesterday - against any other team the scorer of that goal was Boyd - he's done it a million times before (Motherwell for example recently and St Mirren too); right place, right time. But against Celtic it abandons him and his predatory instincts desert him. We can't even use the excuse that timmy have a great defence, because they really don't - defence is one of the reasons why they're so poor this season - so it has to be a psychological block on his part. Boyd doesn't seem to really believe he can score against them - he can do the rest and play just as well as anyone else - but sticking the ball in the back of the net seems to be something, against Celtic, that Boyd seriously struggles to do. Just my opinion.
  13. Wow, an actual official statement complaining about the standard of refereeing? I assume they'll complain about Edu not getting a penalty too? Or our disallowed goal? I don't remember us putting out a statement when Beasley's legit goal at sheepland was chalked off. Or when McDonald's offside goal at Parkhead stood. What the fuck is wrong with timmy? Some go for you, some go against you. What, do you complain about the ones which go against you (rightly or wrongly) and just ignore the ones which go for you? What bitter, bad, minging losers.
  14. SPL removed it.
  15. One of the most unprofessional and partial things I've ever seen a pundit come out with. What he said was something like 'Kyle Lafferty's influence on this game had nothing to do with ability, because he has none'. Half expected McCann to turn to him and say 'bitter are we Charlie?'.
  16. Ok, Lafferty grabbed him around the neck headlocking him. Is that not blatant too? It's was a harsh decision - both of them were a pair of lemons and a couple of yellows would have been fair.
  17. I get the feeling he's like McGregor and Lafferty - has a reputation so is a target. Bellamy doesn't make life easy for himself, but you have to respect the fact he's straight forward, honest and doesn't fanny about. Plus the half season he was here he complimented us and congratulated us on winning the league over his Celtic of the time. Don't quite see the likes of Samaras doing that do we.
  18. From that video I would have to agree. There appeared no malicious intent, just a pure 50 50 with one player coming off really, really badly.
  19. I like him I know he's not popular but these days that seems to elevate him above Terry
  20. Bellamy absolutely laying into Terry during the post match interview - when asked if the Bridge Terry thing galvanised City, Bellamy said 'I know what JT's like, nothing about him surprises me, I'm not gonna comment on that guy, I think everyone in football knows what he's like, but that's off the pitch...' Doesn't mince his words.
  21. It is almost never that we agree, but this is one of those rare exceptions. The stuff I am reading about this amazes me - the paranoia is crazy, and while I wouldn't compare us to timmy, we really do need to get a grip.
  22. What is this I'm now hearing about McGregor and a lapdancing club. Just what the blazes is going on with that guy?
  23. One of my finest OF memories was his grass cutter from outside the box in the 1-0 at Parkhead.
  24. So you're saying Celtic are now influencing the police? Only days after we laugh at timmy for claiming refs are out to get them, some of us are claiming conspiracies against our club by the police!?
  25. The assault on Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor which cost him his place in the Scotland squad for next week’s challenge match against the Czech Republic and could also see him miss Sunday’s Old Firm match was as inevitable as it was regrettable, according to former Celtic and Scotland striker Frank McGarvey.
