You just said we shouldn't be annoyed by it. I have to disagree with you on this one - whoever is laughing at mass loss of life like this really deserves the book thrown at them. It doesn't even matter if it's us, or if it had been Celtic, or another club, or another organisation or anything. It's nothing to do with pettiness.

We literally known nothing about Bedoya. We cannot judge him apart from knowing his career has been totally non-descript up till now. I just hope he makes the step up and proves to be a great player.
-
I'm pleased to see more additions although I am a little confused as to why we're signing Americans. One is arguably past it at 32 albeit seems to be quality given his career, and the other hasn't been tested at a higher level than Sweden. Add to that this McKay guy who's basically spent his career in Australia and China and while more additions are welcome, they don't seem to be an awful lot better than what we currently have. My point is we're increasing the size of the squad, but not necessarily increasing its quality.
-
Quite possibly. I'm hoping we don't see him again for a while. Not until his head is right and he plays at his best. Which isn't exactly Hutton, mind you, but it's adequate for the SPL.
-
I agree. But there's little point in repeatedly playing him in his poorest position. Or maybe it's his strongest, who knows. He just isn't settling in at all whether it's the position or the league/environment. Or he just wasn't that good in the first place.
-
1: He's not exactly playing different positions. 2: He seems to be playing his 'weakest' one.

Something you want to tell us Ian
-
In what way will he be useful in more conservative matches?
-
For such a versatile player he's played 5 or 6 times now, all in the same useless position.
-
We basically have McCulloch, Ness, Davis and Edu. 2 of them have been horrible this season. That leaves Ness and Davis. Definitely need more than just 2, especially if we're going to play 4-3-3 in some games.
-
Good news, glad we've managed to bring in another midfielder. Hope he's eligible for tomorrow. Interesting to hear what the fee was.
-
Ok, I suspect few would disagree that Ortiz has been the least impressive signing. He's done nothing to show he's settling in and looks at odds with the Scottish game. However, I am willing to suggest that playing on the left side might be rendering him inneffectual. He's a right sided player, and keeps on cutting in - it was useful against Blackpool in a friendly but it's doing nothing in competitive matches. Give him a go on the right, see how he does on his oriented flank. If he's still slow, unconfident, innaccurate with his crossing, and unable to beat a man, then yeah, he's probably a dud. But he deserves a chance on what I believe is the side he prefers.

Then neither does Zappa. We're happy in our little 'thickies' club. You lot can go run the club
-
Erm, as I said to rbr, which you've conveniently ignored...where did I say we should offer more? Thank God we agree on something
-
Suppose you can't knock positivity but Goram really does come out with some bollocks.
-
We definitely need a decent left winger. We simply don't have one.
-
Regardless, he's been absolutely abhorent this season, and that moment capped it all off. His head isn't right at the moment.
-
Contradictory dear chum. You made a big deal of the work permit but here you're rightly pointing out he's a precontract who's coming regardless. But to answer your question, you can't in football - I was subtely hinting that your attempt at an Ebay analogy was rubbish
-
btw, the thought occurs that a reason we've been so pitiful in the market this window is because Smith, Whyte and Ally are all rookies at this.
-
Funny that, I don't ever recall saying anything about 'upping' the offer...
-
Erm, he signed the pre contract before we offered anything. He was coming to us no matter what. Zappa is the only one who seems to have any sense on this, other than me of course
-
If the club refuse to sell for 400k, it is just plain silly to then try 300k. All this stuff about time running out so value decreasing doesn't matter - the selling club hold the power and if they won't sell for 400 why in the name all that is pure and holy would the 'buying' club believe a smaller bid will tempt them more than the larger bid?
-
If you fail to sell, you relist
-
Kirk is absolutely horrible in the middle, but at RB he is reasonable. Critically, he doesn't make massive errors. He's basically like Papac but on the right.
-
The left side is a problem for us. We have the unfinished article in Wylde, who does look promising but needs to work on his game, and the thus far inneffectual Ortiz.
