  1. Can some one clear up a couple of points for me ?,as i'm a wee bit out of touch. What is the current state of our debt ?. Is it true that Rangers are going to pay Hutton 1mil to sign for Spurs ?.
  2. Without starting another Boyd debate !!!, I agree 100% with SA on this,if we were to play two up front including Boyd, Boyd would be top scorer every season,as he has already proved.
  3. I think Hutton should stay and keep improving, there's plenty time for him to move, however SDM has other ideas !!!!!!!
  4. No need to be shy mate,we all talk a lot of constructive shite on here
  5. I'd still have Fergie before Buffel
  6. IMO we couldn't have a better manager than WS to come in when he did,I said so at the time. And the reason for that is we neede stability, which he has done. Now, when it comes to tactics and team selections he comes in for a bit of criticism, but I believe in stability and I am happy with the way we are,on the field, just now and believe we will get better, so he gets my backing as we have came on loads since his return. My worry is off the park, where are we going SDM ?.
  7. I don't think anyone has ever doubted Buffel has talent, what pisses fans off,me included,is that we all know he can play but he isn't the type of guy who seems to get stuck in when the chips are down and goes missing in games, some say chicken hearted. But I think everyone deserves a chance and he has to realise that he has to strive to play at his best in all games, not just now and again, which is the impression he gives most fans
  8. Good appointment IMO,if it happens.
  9. Never seen the guy play, however we should not be spending that amount on a young / inexperienced player as we have enough of our own youths who are getting near the first team

I don't think we need to sign another striker, untill the summer,as we have enough strikers who should be able to get goals,we do however need to strengthen the midfield and possibly defence.IMO we will not miss Cousin.
  11. Already posted on another thread, good deal IMO,30 year old mercenary who we don't need.
  12. Rangers then Scotland for me,then I really don't care for anybody else.I find it strange that some fans say they support two teams !!,although it's common, but I just can't.
  13. A good deal IMO for a 30 year old mercenary who we can do without
  14. It is a sensible move,no-one doubts that, let's just hope he starts to produce the goods, this could / should be his last chance to prove his worth.Although he shouldn't be compared to Burke or Naysmith as Sebo is supposed to be an out and out striker who scores goals with the other two being more creative players who will chip in with goals IMO.
  15. Fulham have had a £3million bid accepted by Rangers for Daniel Cousin. As revealed by skysports.com on Monday Fulham made their move for Cousin by tabling a bid in the region of £2million for the powerful forward. Rangers rejected Fulham's initial offer, but the Craven Cottage outfit have upped their bid to £3million which the Scottish club have reluctantly accepted. Fulham turned their attention to Cousin after seeing a move for Watford's Marlon King stall. Cousin, who arrived at Ibrox in the summer from Lens, has previously intimated his desire to try his luck in England and Fulham are now ready to grant him his wish. The 30-year-old is now set to travel to London for talks with Fulham and undergo a medical ahead of his proposed move to the Premier League.
  16. A lot of talk / rumour of Barry Ferguson signing for the toon ?
  17. If that's true Gribz, then yes,it would be better for him and Rangers if he stayed untill then, however again if it's true then what Frankie is saying makes sense that Rangers are forcing him out the door
  18. Gribz,do you not think if Manure wanted him then they would let him know or make a move ?
  19. Now now Johnny
  20. Gers Star Smith Set To Return Jan 15 2008 By Keith Jackson Exclusive RANGERS received a huge boost yesterday when long-term casualty Stevie Smith returned to action for the first time in more than a year. Smith played for half an hour in a youth match against Motherwell at Murray Park as he continues his recovery form an injury nightmare that stalled a promising Ibrox career. The 22-year-old has been sidelined since December 2006 when Paul Le Guen was still in charge of the team. Smith has gone under the knife for surgery to repair a damaged groin and his recovery was further complicated by an injury to his back. He has yet to make a top-team game for current manager Walter Smith. Great news, for him and Rangers
  21. Aye,hope it goes ahead,I will be home from work for that one
  22. Wednesday Feb 13th,return leg in Athens 21st Feb. Season Ticket Holders - 24 quid go on sale on Thursday
  23. Cup Game Is Off RANGERS' Scottish Cup clash with East Stirling has become a victim of the weather and there could be consequences for the rearranged Old Firm game on January 23. Ibrox is waterlogged after torrential rain all night and this morning and a decision was taken to call off the fourth round Cup tie with the Third Division side. Rangers officials are talking with the SPL and SFA right now to find out when the East Stirling match can now be played but January 23 is a Scottish Cup date. We will have more on this story as soon as we can.
  24. I'm a Boyd fan,i'd rather have the player than 3 mil,I don't care if some fans think he can only score against the so called lesser teams, the guy is goal scorer.
  25. I think the important thing here is he is a young player still to develope his potential, maybe the change will do that.I must admit I don't know too much about him,but any signing is a gamble so gambling on a young guy is worth more than gambling on bringing in someone like Cousin maybe.
