  1. Rangers v Osasuna Uefa Cup last 16, first leg Date: Thursday 8 March Kick off: 2005 GMT Venue: Ibrox Live coverage on BBC Two Scotland, BBC Radio Scotland and video stream (UK only) on BBC Sport website
  2. Never seen the game, but i hope they were stone wall penalties
  3. I'll go for 1-0,can't pick a goalscorer,any cunt.........!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Aye, still an achievement all the same, he's still young enough to set a good record.
  5. I thought the odds were meant to drop as you progress, i stuck £20 Real early in the group stages @ 9/1,skybet,???????, don't really fancy them mind, but you never know
  6. Aye, it'll be interesting to see how the UEFA respond to this....!!!!!!!!!, still there was no sectarian singing.....!!!!!!!!
  7. Aye, but the thing is, we cannot afford to buy like C****c full stop, our problems are off the park, but the minute anybody starts to criticise DM they get shot down in flames. The players we are bringing in are first team players, with WS,and us, hoping they grow and develope into top players.
  8. Agreed mate, in WS though we have a very shrewd manager and i'm in no doubt he will be able to bring in the type of player that will do a job for us, i just wish he can get some decent cash as i believe he would use it wisely, but i'm not holding my breathe for that, i think i'm just hopefull he will be able to work miracles
  9. I don't think any of us are exstatic about these signings Cammy, but in your third paragraph you hit the nail on the head, MAJOR CASH INJECTION, but i don't see that happening, hope i'm wrong, but when you've no money i think what WS is doing is trying to build a team, obviously, and he is trying to get the best young Scottish players available and i don't see this as a bad thing, as the days of big signings are gone then i don't see what else can be done, but hopefully we can get in a few experienced players to help the young guys gel.
  10. The way Liverpool are performing in the CL, i'd go for them, they just seem to look so good in the CL and you can't deny them a fantastic achievement in outplaying the mighty Barca
  11. As i said in a previous post, we cannot take a Spanish team lightly, we're no great shakes ourselves, make no mistake it's going to be tough, but i think we need/want it more, so we really should get into them from the start, that in turn gets the fans up and give our players a lift, and if they're not taking this game too seriously, which i doubt, then they won't want to know, HOPEFULLY......!!!!!!!, A CLEAN SHEET IS WHAT WE WANT.
  12. Well WS got the team/tactics right in the last round,so same again please.
  13. Last Updated: Tuesday, 6 March 2007, 16:21 GMT E-mail this to a friend Printable version Police investigate Mikel transfer Teenager Mikel joined Chelsea in June last year Norwegian police say they are investigating the transfer of Nigerian midfielder Mikel Jon Obi to Chelsea. The 19-year-old joined the Blues from Lyn Oslo in June 2006, after initially agreeing to sign for Manchester United. "The case is about document forgery and that is serious," said Oslo police attorney Paal Hernaes. Mikel agreed to join United in April 2005 but later said he had been pressurised into signing for the club and agreed to move to the Blues. In June, Chelsea announced they had reached a financial settlement with United and Lyn under which they would pay United £12m and the Norwegian club £4m. The police expect to complete their investigation by early April
  14. Barring injury, i see no reason why we won't get a couple of seasons out of him
  15. I'd be surprised if he doesn't get another years contract
  16. Predictions.....??????, what's the score going to be ?, i'll go for 1-0 for the GERS !!!!!!
  17. The thing is, you never know who is going to make it, whoever you sign and however much they cost it's still a gamble, these type of guys all have potential so you just never know how good they're going to become, the likes Hartley was a late developer, IMO WS abviously sees something in them and the fact that they're not breaking the bank means if they don't make it then they can be moved on easily.
  18. I remember the Aberdeen of Spain game in Valencia. Aye that was a quote..............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, don't think anyone thinks we're going to walk the game, quite the opposite, they're a Spanish and therefore no mugs, we will have to be at our best, but we have a good chance in this game.
  19. I said as much when we signed him, he is a better manager now than when he was last at Ibrox, he has achieved a lot since he left us.
  20. I think a blind man could see the difference in the team, they have some building to do, but IMO it's coming along nicely, i have no doubt they will get us back, not only competing, winning trophies again and that's not me getting carried away, i just have faith.
  21. Well i'm more confident going into this game, as i am most games these days, the fact that we have tightened up at the back gives us a chance against most teams, Thursday we need to get at them right from the start, not gung ho, but play at a high tempo and try and rattle them and if we can come away with a win then i'd be confident of going through, although 0-0 wouldn't be a bad result, but a win is obviously better.
  22. I voted for him as well, because of the timing of the saves, what happened to the Hibs goalie ciuld have happened to ours, kept us in the game
  23. Well done to the old man , luv to see the bookies losing money
  24. The way the Manure players celibrated the result makes you think that they're of the same opinion !!!!
  25. Why i should stop gambling.............my coupon yesterday !!!!!!!!!!!!! Brentford 0-2 Scunthorpe Away Wycome 3-0 Macclesfeild Home GRETNA (*****) 0-3 Qn.O'South Home Morton 2-1 Peterhead Home Queens Park 5-0 Albion Home Gretna F****d me for £ 255..............!!!!!!!!
