They're not the only bizarre group gathering around the Israel situation. Ever heard of gays for Palestine? People who if they were actually in Palestine would have to move to Israel or be thrown off a high building at best.

That's been a feature of the season. Every time we get up a head of steam a break disrupts it. -

Standard win and we move into the split 8 points clear with an overwhelming goal difference. Noticed SG was using a wired ear bud. Perhaps concerned about the risk of someone finding a connection to any bluetooth communication he might use. -
Agreed, despite the common media opinion of them being invincible I believe we really did have a chance this season but let it slip through our fingers. But that encourages me to feel that just a couple of players or so and the fact the manager has a had a season in Scotland now can drive us to the prize next season. We outplayed them for the bulk of the 180 minutes during our last two meetings. We're not far away.

The Spring & Summer 2019 Transfer Rumours Thread

SG badly needs a good transfer window and a team for next season that will quickly leave the also rans, sheep etc, trailing in our wake. He’s trying to build a reputation and he’s not there yet. Though his Euro run all the way from the first qualifier has to be seen as impressive. -

Hopefully fully up to speed after a good pre season. -

If that is indeed the case my view is that it proves they're fans just like us and not simply investors/number crunchers. That's probably a rarity in the modern game and would further suggest they're not going to jump ship and leave us in lurch. -

I dunno, missed the game and just quoting the media figures. But I'm confident it wasn't 20,000 down.

I expect Stevie can still strike a ball like that. His legs just wont carry him through a game.

I feel confident Stevie G will iron out the problems in the close season. It doesn't have to be the mass clear out of previous seasons. We're just 2 or 3 away from being formidable and just as importantly consistent. Struggles to break down park the bus tactic from the likes of the sheep aside lack of consistency is holding us back.

He's a 29 goal striker and after a couple of days to get over my anger at him i'm now hoping this is the one that really gets through to him and he turns a corner. in his tweet he said "I promise to do everything in my power to ensure nothing like that happens again" We will see.

More urgently we need to get a minimum second place finish and there appear to be moves afoot to weaken us as much as possible for the run in. What's the betting that the yahoo game post split will cover one of Morelos banned games?

Media clamour to get Kent a ban too. Daily rabble running a huge pic.
-
Alfredo Morelos has apologised for the red card in Rangers' 2-1 defeat at Celtic on Sunday that will cost the striker a four-game ban. The Colombian was dismissed for an elbow on Scott Brown and is suspended for two matches plus an additional two given previous sendings-off. Morelos posted a message on Twitter, apologising to "the fans, my team-mates and coaching staff". Morelos has been red-carded five times this season, with one rescinded. The 22-year-old will now miss more than half of Rangers' seven remaining Scottish Premiership games. "I promise to do everything in my power to ensure nothing like that happens again," his statement added. Andy Halliday will serve a one-match ban for his dismissal against Celtic. The 27-year-old midfielder, who was playing at left-back, received a second yellow card after the final whistle for a clash with Brown, who was celebrating in front of the away fans, which sparked a melee. Ryan Kent, who scored Rangers' equaliser, will find out on Tuesday if he faces retrospective action for shoving Brown after Celtic's winner. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/47775433

I think he's at the end of his tether with Morelos as perhaps many of us are too. I wanted Alfie and his goals to stay another season but I don't see that happening now. Rough estimate he may be out for up to a quarter of the league season due to bans and we could be down to 10 men for 4 or 5 games. That's unsustainable if we're going to win a league. Realistically the league was already gone before today and this was as much about pride as anything else. Despite everything I think we came out of it with our pride intact and are now just preparing for a better season in 19/20. -

How satisfying if he did and we got the winner. -

And Kent probably just put himself even further out of our price range unless Liverpool are up for doing Gerrard a favour. -

Makes it a criminal offence to encourage terrorism by directly or indirectly inciting or encouraging others to commit acts of terrorism. This includes an offence of "glorification" of terror – people who "praise or celebrate" Grants the home secretary greater powers to ban groups that glorify terrorism. -
